As a first time shopper, I asked about the return policy and was told it could be returned for in-store credit. The sleeves proved too short, so I tried to return the purchase today. Initially the cashier said there was a 10 day return policy on clothing and refused the return. I explained the information I had been given, but since it was seasonal, she would only make an exception to exchange it for the same clothing item. She referred me to the back of the price tag, which does explain the policy; but what I was verbally told was different. Well, a larger size doesn't have longer sleeves, but since I had no alternative, I made an exchange. I said that as a first time shopper, it didn't give me a good impression of the store. Nothing more was said. (BTW, the item is now on sale for 20% off vs my 10% discount. Bottom line, I thought this might become a store I would shop frequently, but now I will not return. I try to shop local, but with policies like this, it's no wonder larger stores are winning the retail race.

A very expensive Harley belt wore out and the leather cracked, so they made me a new belt with the Harley hardware. 2. The pull strap on a pair of boots kept tearing and they replaced it. I found three really destinct cards I liked and I also saw a display large metal window hanger I wanted for my friend for Christmas. Upon purchasing the cards I specifically asked the man working if any and all displays were for sale and he replied "yes of course". By the way the signs are posted everywhere. I went to go get the window hanger and before I knew it I was being yelled at by the woman who had chased me over to it as I was grabbing it off the display she was going for my arms to stop me. She had to sprint over to me considering where I was and where she was. She yelled "you can't have that one!". I replied "seriously am I iliterate?" "The sign is right there and your coworker just stated "everything is for sale including all displays" This woman was yelling, not speaking " You can't have that one it's for display". I said "I know it's a display but I just asked him". She yelled "You can't have it" and "blah, blah, blah" "it hasn't been priced yet, etc..." very very loudly. At that point I could no longer understand her. I was shaking I was so upset. She had turned what should've been a pleasant purchase for a friend into a traumatic incident. I did point out to her the effects of social media when someone acts as she did and she said she didn't care because she's closing. I also left with yelling myself that "there's insanity at large going on in here". I'm sure that everyone has a different experience there but this was my trauma for the day and I will not go back to be subjected to any verbal abuse or harassment from her.

But Balloon Magic has…read morequality balloons, when I went in for the first time I could really tell they choose the quality of the balloons over ripping people of with crappy ones. When I went in they explained to me how a normal sized mylar is $3 and anything bigger they just take the normal sized and multiple the size until they get the size of the larger one, thus getting the price they use for the larger balloons. The employees at Balloon Magic have a great sense of humor and are very insightful about color, quality, and more. They were very helpful and their balloons lasted 2X as long as the ones I usually got from Party City. Also $1 9" helium filled balloons? What a good deal! If you're considering coming here just buy from their stock it's the same price as bring your own and most definitely better quality!

I ordered a…read moreDemi arch from them for a baby shower for $72 (and was charged $90, more on that later) thinking I would be getting something similar to what was pictured on their website. Imagine my surprise when I got the pathetic little "arch" pictured. The owner, Elizabeth, told me that the arch would sit on a table, go to the ceiling and naturally curve on to the ceiling. I paid a $10 delivery fee because I didn't think it would fit in my vehicle (spoiler alert: it would) and she told me she would drop it off herself and get it set up. A man showed up at the venue, handed it to me and said, "I believe you're waiting for this," and walked out. I emailed a pic of what I ordered and what I got to the owner yesterday. My refund? $13. Wow. She then called me up apologizing and giving me every excuse in the book (including COVID has really been a struggle for them - who hasn't it been a struggle for?) and apologizing that I wasn't happy and didn't understand why I was unhappy because I got exactly what I ordered. I also asked why I got charge $90 and it was an additional $10 for delivery and an additional $5 because I wanted it between 10-11!!! I was never told of the additional $5 charge and don't feel the time frame necessitated it. Another interesting fact - the pics of the balloon arch I ordered were immediately removed from their website and replaced with another, smaller arch for $90!!! Tells me the owner knew I did NOT get what I ordered. Reading the other reviews out here - I agree. These people will price gouge you to get as much out of you as they can. It's a shame.
