Not impressed. The bar itself is ok but nothing special to make it stand out. I've been there a few times and it's usually dead except for a few regulars. The bartenders are great except for the full time girl there....she tends to hide in the kitchen so it's hard to get service. Also feels a bit dangerous leaving late at night. They've had some incidents so don't stay too late. I went once on band night and that was fun. If you really feel the need to check it out, go on a band night. Otherwise, don't bother. read more

Business owner is a liar. They came out with a machine lit up at 22% all the way put you on the spot very rude for they go come and say they give you a printed receipt. A lot of the reviews you see with big stars are fake. They're from the owners and the people that work there. They are not real. The place is garbage and dirty. I wouldn't recommend anybody eat there. bathrooms are also filthy disgusting place. read more

The undisputed king of all dive bars, Partner's lives down (up) to it's grand reputation. For years there was no way you could get out without smelling like you smoked about 400 cigarettes. Actually that was the goal of everyone there. I think I came close a couple of times. No, there is no food at this Pub. Just lots and lots of cheap alcohol, a terrible pool table and THE (nobody can argue this) filthiest men's room in the known universe of divedom. The worst mistake a person could ever make would be to dare wear flip flops into the men's room. There is without fail at least an inch of water and urine on the floor. The toilet paper is always completely urine soaked so don't sit down. I have known only two people who have sat down in the bathroom. I laughed the whole time they were in there. First they were desperate enough to have to go. Second, when they reached for the TP? HA! Once my cousin Bill wiped his finger across the ceiling and there was in fact white paint beneath it's yellow-falling facade. Impressive. When I moved to CA away from here the outside was dirty, old Cape Cod siding. When I returned it was painted hellfire red. So fitting. They have recently redone the pitted bar and the floors. To me it's like trying to fix the Mona Lisa. Please go if you are ever in the area. I think it still wreaks of cigarette smoke. The only plus about the smoking ban is that you don't have to put your clothes in a separate part of the house when you get home. read more

I don't know what happened, but this is now the best beer bar around. An astounding lineup of draft beers, including big IPAs and great local brewery choices, including Maine Beer Company and Pretty Things. Lots of good bottles too. I was really surprised when I stopped in after a disc golf round at the nearby course. As for the ambience, being overdressed won't be one of your concerns. read more

Last night after getting out of work, my buddy and I needed a drink so we found the closest bar possible. We drove by the place (which looks like a total dive outside, stylistic with Budweiser and Miller neons on the facade) and decided to check it out since the lot was full, indicating a local bar--just what we enjoy. We enjoyed our visit, however didn't seem to be having as much fun as most of the locals. Partner's is a nice dive with alcohol priced similarly to what you'd get at any small place ($9 for a Sam Winter and Gin and Tonic) but they do have Moosehead lager for $1 for a 16 oz pint, or $4.50 for a 64 oz. pitcher. Too bad we didn't realize that until after we had gotten our drinks... You walk into a room with a video game, two pool tables, three or four scattered tables, and a stage in the back. To the left is the bar, where there are probably six-eight bar stools in a long thin alley. The style of each of the two rooms is way different, though each have the character of mismatched walls, floors, and ceilings, cords and wires hanging from the ceiling in places, and wood paneling reminisced of the 70's & 80's. Sure, partners is worth a visit--hardly any places aren't--but if you're not local and you want to have a conversation instead of talk over everyone else getting sloshed, I'd suggest ordering your cheap pitcher of Moosehead, chugging it, and moving on. read more

Great beer selection for an otherwise dive bar but there are karaoke nights and always a game on. Comfortable for a visitor.

Partners is perhaps one of the well know bars and most frequented in the Fitchburg/Leominster area. Why you ask? Great times, cheap booze, live music and karaoke. They have 2 pool tables if you want to shoot some pool and numerous live events. $4 for drafts $8 for pitchers. It's no wonder why this place is popular within the region. This place is like going to a bar in one of those western movies. One moment the bartender was serving me and everyone else drinks, next moment two women start going at it and then the bartender just goes ballistic and kicks them out. It's madness. Tip the guy, he deserves it for all the stuff he has to put up with. Few things to note, The bathroom is the worst. Never have I ever gagged so much walking into the bathroom here. Also, I'm not sure if it had to do with the night I went or what happened but last call was at around 1:15 and then a fight broke out and then the music cut off and then everybody was kicked out by 1:25. I guess they shut it down to avoid hostile situations but usually it's 1:30 when they kick everyone out. Nonetheless, Partners it a cool place to just kick it and enjoy ones self. Just don't be the one to get kicked out or be a total buzzkill. read more

This place is probably the best place to go people watching, the weirdest people hang out here. This place is the definition of a dive bar and the karaoke is hilarious even though the sound system is absolutely horrible. This location does not accept out of state IDs and require either a passport or military ID. When I questioned the bartender about this he seemed irritated and banned me from being in the bar. Both my brother and I have out of state IDs as we are not from here so it was a waste to go here. In addition the place had a rotten smell. We just wanted to do Kareoke. read more

I'm giving Partners Pub a 5 Star rating because..... 1.) It's pretty much the only place in the area that caters to LIVE music and CARES about the bands that come through the door! 2.) It's the BEST dive bar in the area and the ONLY dive bar that you ACTUALLY want to be in. 3.) THE DRINKS ARE STIFF!!!!!! You don't have to worry about getting ripped off like every other bar in the area who give you tonic with a tiny little splash of gin. ONLY AT PARTNERS will you get a glass of GIN with a splash of tonic! Your money will not be wasted here. Just be sure to bring a designated driver because if you're out for the night to see one of the bands, chances are you are going to leave this little shithole completely wrecked! read more

Yes this is a local dive bar... Bathrooms need to not only be updated but bulldozed and replaced... They are beyond gross, I'd rather pee outside if it was legal. Also the bartender is usually just as drunk as all the customers... The do have reasonably priced beers & drinks but the place needs to be cleaned BADLY... I wore flip flops in here one summer night and my shoe got stuck to the floor as I was walking.... This place is someone would put some love into; paint, CLEANING and fixing the ceiling and tucking the wires in wouldn't be too bad... But they should stop over serving ppl!! read more

As others have stated, this is by far the BEST craft beer/micro brew line up I've seen in the area. At least 16-20 good beers to choose from and they had Maine Beer Company's Peeper on tap! The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting (for me, a 30 year old bachelor). You could tell the people there knew each other and were cordial. They do technically have food in the form of pizza which I am willing to put money on was a frozen Tombstone from Hannafords. It even came out with the cardboard disk you find in the box of a frozen pizza. It was an adequate accompaniment to the standout beer selection. This place would be a standout if they wanted to adopt the Gasto-pub model and start turning out high quality food to compliment the high quality beer, but perhaps they want it this way. Don't expect to bring your family here for a sit down event. Go here with a buddy if you want to drink some good beer. read more

Partners Pub is without a doubt the most disgusting bar in Fitchubrg. The scent of the urine soaked floor is just beyond belief. The owner needs to try "soaking" a little money into a complete remodel of this bathroom rather than anywhere else in this establishment. The ceiling ducts in the large room have clumps of dust hanging from them. That dust falls and settles on you, your table and in your drink. Nice! Still, it is a fun dive to hang out at. Don't ask me why. Not too mention the guys that go in there aren't hard on the eyes either. Wednesday nights at Partners Pub is usually the best. The rest of the week, I wouldn't go near the place. read more

This place has made an incredible turnaround, and everyone involved needs to be praised for their efforts to bring quality beer and beer knowledge to this area at great prices. However, Partner's seems to be having a hard time separating from their old ways. While it's nice to sit down and have one of the best beers in New England without going somewhere less casual and more expensive, it's infinitely less desirable when there are still junkies hanging around bumming dollars for the jukebox everyone in the bar has asked them five times not to play, or harassing women who wouldn't be caught dead in there months before. While the turnaround is commendable, and the direction is insipired; until they stop allowing the dregs to run free within those walls, it'll never be a safe place to spend time. read more
