Well, not inexplicable, the issue is that the drive-thru was designed like they forgot to have one at all. There is no way to order ahead of time or anything, you have to wait until you are at the single window, order, pay, and wait for 5-10 minutes while they prepare the order. This means even on a slow day there's 10-20 cars stuck sitting there for upwards of an hour or at least what felt that way. The drinks were delicious though and the hot chocolate specifically was some of the best I've had. We did end up going inside and the interior was super clean and the atmosphere was fantastic - like it says, it felt exactly like a genuine cabin. The bathrooms were also maybe the nicest ones I've seen outside of well kept homes. The staff were all super nice as well.
