I like their selection of dinners. Lamb chops are my favorite second most favorite thing is the Greek salad with anchovies.

This was a nice find in Murfreesboro; 6 of us for Sunday brunch. It's a big restaurant, no real ambiance, but in these days, spaciousness is a huge plus. Our server, Marcus, had only been on the job a week, but he was very friendly, efficient, and eager to please. He was so earnest he almost wore us out, but you just couldn't help liking him, especially since he did his job well. The food was delicious and plentiful: Athena's flatbread, Honey jack burgers, Tuscan omelet, Belgian waffles, and lamb chopped steak. Very good wine by the glass. Everything reasonably priced. All in all, a pleasant surprise. read more

We were all craving steaks. Ordered 3 Bone-In Steaks, one cooked Medium... the other two for Medium Rare. When we got our steaks, they were all way undercooked.... raw. One of the steaks was still cold in the center, there's no way anyone would've eaten it that way. We did ask our server to take it them back to cook it a little more, but mine (the medium) was still very raw looking. Our appetizers were decent, The Rockefeller Oysters were savory. Sweet potato fries were crispy and yummy. Usually, Parthenon has delicious steaks... but we were not satisfied. :( Our server was friendly, the service was mediocre but at least he came to check on us several times. read more

Parthenon Grille - Steakhouses Near Me - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

We hade the Parthenon dip with pita for appetizer. Lamb chops with taziki sauce and chicken Corinthia as entrees. The lamb was tender and very flavorful. The side of garlic mashed potatoes was excellent. The chicken Corinthia was creamy goodness with spinach, artichoke, and asparagus artfully mixed in with a perfectly cooked pasta. Wonderful environment, with calm ambience. Christian was our very knowledgeable and enthusiastic waiter. He was able to recommend pairings for our meals. We did not feel rushed. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. We are looking forward to our next special night out and recommend Parthenon Grille for a beautiful meal. read more

One of my favorite places to come to in Mboro. They have great deals for happy hour. The staff is very friendly. I love their food. On wednesdays, it's $6 apps. Happy hour is also a certain time so you get discounted alcoholic beverages. They have different deals on different days. I really like coming here when I crave raw oysters. Their crab cakes are pretty good, too. My husband loved their bacon wrapped scallops. I've came another night before and tried their ribeye and french fries. It was pretty good. read more

This place is well past it's prime. This was our go to spot for years. We hadn't been in about 6 years, after moving away. We returned for dinner before a graduation, while in town with family, and will not return. Service was slow, even though they were slow at 4 pm on a Thursday. The food was equivalent to a TGI Fridays or Applebee's. read more

We ordered take out dinner online. The website and menu was easy to navigate. Our order was ready on time and the staff brought it out to our car. By the time we arrived home with our food it was still warm. We ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was 4 large pieces perfectly breaded on top of delicious pasta. The pasta was perfectly seasoned. The pasta could be a meal itself. Our order came with a large pan of salad which was easily enough for 5 folks. The salad ingredients were fresh and very tasty. We also ordered bacon wrapped scallops which were tender and so so tasty. The loaf of bread and dipping sauce was fantastically Greek. Next time we are ordering the Gyro sandwich or the lamb chop. Everything on the menu looks mouthwatering. read more

Food there was amazing. We had a large party for graduation and they were WONDERFUL. There were a lot of large parties and they did an amazing job with all of them. Yes, it took time, but we had a chance to visit with family that we had not seen in a while so it worked out well. read more

After living in and around Murfreesboro for 14 years, I finally ventured out to Parthenon Grill with some friends. The service was a little slow and disorganized, but the meal was pretty good. I don't know that I would be a regular customer, but a visit every now and then would be okay. read more

Amazing food and wonderful service Noah is a great server and very respectful will come back again

Always! This place has everything: excellent food, top notch service, and the perfect ambiance. I have been there a few times now and always totally enjoy it. Highly recommend to everyone! read more

This place had an interesting twist on Greek food. While I was expecting a certain flavor I've had at other Greek restaurants, the food was still good. My husband had a steak with rice which he enjoyed. I had a dish that I wanted to call "gyro tacos" even though that's not what the menu called it. I will say I was disappointed with the hummus as it wasn't what I was expecting, but the overall atmosphere and experience was good. There are a lot of American style dishes for those of you who aren't feeling Greek food. read more

Steak is ok, salad is good and service is a bit slow but it's clean, good atmosphere and better than chain steak houses.

Top of the line service and anything but chain feel or flavor. Original dishes served hot and freshly made. Highly recommend. read more

Parthenon Grille - Bar area late lunch. Ask for Nicki! - Steakhouses Near Me - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Our waitress was wonderful, but that was the only positive about our experience. We ordered the Parthenon Dip as our appetizer and it honestly just tasted like marinara with a lot of cheese added. The fried pita was ok. For my entree, I ordered a New York Strip with Oil and Garlic Pasta. The steak honestly tasted like a pork chop. I had never tasted a steak that bad in my life. My mom tasted it as well and also agreed it tasted just like a park chop, not a steak. The Oil and Garlic pasta was just plain pasta- no garlic at all. The interior looks nice, but due to the food we will not be returning. read more

Respectful and professional staff which I very much appreciate especially after everything that's been going on. To me, that says they take care of their employees which is very important. Beautiful view and exceptional service, a must try! read more

Read reviews and still decided to give it a chance. Ordered raw oysters and the Rockefeller. They were big and chewy!!! Almost felt like eating chicken gristle. Filet Mignon and Petie Ribeye were very bland. The waiter however was great. He checked on us throughout our meal. He's scored a 10. The food maybe a 3 read more

We came for a date night. I asked my husband to see if they were open. They said yes. By the time I parked 2 mins later the guy ran outside and said they are already closed ????? How do you work all day and not no what time the restaurant closes and what time you get off. I really wanted to surprise him and we wanted the lamp chops. So we took out business elsewhere but disappointed because I've been eyeing this place for awhile now. read more

The food here is what I consider faux fine dining. They have the atmosphere and building of a nice place, but the food is just as expensive as an actual fine dining restaurant without the quality. The steaks were underdone, the flavor on the pasta was lacking and the appetizers were disappointingly small. If you want great fine dining in the Boro I recommend Five Senses or Dallas & Jane. read more

Worst brunch, great server. Almost empty parking lot should have been our first clue. Weak coffee. Charge for hot tea refills. Sour orange juice in mimosa. Peach schnapps not peach nectar in peach mimosa. Chewy scallops on starter. Dry, over done eggs Benedict (hard boiled egg and rubbery hollandaise). Waffles with chicken and waffles were extremely sweet like cinnamon rolls, which is not stated on menu and not appreciated. Maybe their breakfast chef was on vacation, but our visit was an overall disappointment for a special Christmas outing with family. However, our server Nicole was super! read more

As a server in a fine dining establishment (Sullivan's steakhouse) I would NEVER approach someone based off phone calls, or for any reason other than those presented to me in person and JUDGE SOMEONE as to kick them out. This establishment has a manager that told someone to GET THE F OUT while they were eating and had money on the table. Customer also showed her cash app account showing she had money. The manager and coworker were rude as could be I would never come here solely based off of that. You cannot approach someone like that! Nor can you ask them how much money they have. This should go STRAIGHT to your HR department. That girl could SUE this establishment for being prejudiced! This is ABSURD. Terrible, snarky employees lacking knowledge in Customer Service. read more

We were in town to visit MTSU and we were welcomed by the hostess. It was mid afternoon but still had several dining in at the time. I will say I was NOT impressed with the location. It sits in a location where Parthenon Grille seems to be a bit more upscale than other businesses around. Anywho, we were welcomed, seated and given menus. The waitress came over shortly after and was very friendly. We said we were in town to take a college tour and she shared in our excitement briefly. My husband was starving so he ordered the Oyster Rockefeller. He was pleased with it. For an entree, he ordered the lamb burger which he enjoyed also. I ordered the salmon Greek salad and our daughter had the chicken fingers with fries. The food was good. I loved the salmon over the salad. My husband loved his lamb burger as well along with the appetizer (oyster). My daughter picked over food because she was tired but she enjoyed her food as well. Overall, Good food and service just a weird location!!!! read more

We decided to try Parthenon Grill early evening on a Sunday. Glad we decided to try it. The salmon starter was superb. The steaks were great as well and the pasta Alfredo was excellent. Dessert was a nice slice of cake to split between us. Nice meal, great service, we will be back! read more

I wish I had this place back home. It would be my date night of choice! I ate here after a log day of driving and had the chicken with stuffed spinach and cheese, shrimp and pasta... Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection! It was the right amount of food and just so tasty. We started with their warm bread and oil and vinegar with spices which was good too. I wanted to try everything on the menu! My husband salmon was cooked perfectly too and they also had mahi mahi and snapper on the menu that sounded so tempting! I hope to be back to try them all. It's the type of place where you aren't afraid to try something new because you KNOW it will be excellent. read more

Ok, let me first start out by saying it was Sunday after church and on Mother's Day so I understand the reason it was so busy. However, it took us 20 minutes to get our table after having a reservation and also took us well over an hour to get our food, which unfortunately was subpar. I ordered the steak and eggs and my steak was well done even after I ordered it cooked medium. The steak reminded me of something that would have been prepackaged and frozen. The eggs and home fries were very good and cooked with the appropriate amount of seasoning. Our server was kind and kept our drinks refilled, however he did not apologize nor recognize how long it took for our food. Overall, I do not think we will be returning here for brunch, but I would like to try dinner here in the future. read more

I was in Murfreesboro for the night to see a concert. My wife and I love Greek food and this restaurant may say it is Greek but is far from it. Each main entree I asked for they where out of so I opted for the steak which I asked for medium well-done. Food comes out and the steak is over cooked, dry, and resembles a hockey puck. The green beans where overly spiced with pepper. I also asked for the beer battered french fries which seemed store bought. I got it, Greek food has flavour, but this was not close to Greek food at all. The only thing that was good about the experience was the service.... Definitely will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Mimosas were good. Chicken & waffles had a deceptive description. It was cold waffles and old chicken tenders. Since I didn't want chicken tenders, I asked for bacon instead, and the bacon was brought out to me in 20 seconds. It wasn't fresh, and it wasn't hot. Very unpleasant experience... read more

Today we had our Friday lunch at the Parthenon Grille in Murfreesboro. Let me start by saying we eat there often, and the food & drinks are usually good. We first ordered the house Chardonnay, which came out of a box. Shame on us...it tasted awful, and when the bartender checked it, she found that the box had a expiration date of 12/22. Looks like someone is not rotating the inventory. My wife changed to a Cosmopolitan, which tasted like cough yrup. I ordered a slightly dirty martini, which came back as a filthy martini. While making my cocktail. The bartender got distracted, and didn't shake my...again shame on me for not saying something. My wife ordered Beef Stroganoff, which tasted like the meat was liver...hmm On the good side of things, my Lamb burger tasted good. Time for the bill. Typically we get that Cosmopolitans go anywhere from $10 - $14 dollars. So a little surprised to see it for $ 9.50, but with a $2 up charge. When I asked what was the $2 fee for, I was told that it was for the extra ingredients in the Cosmo. The same occurred with my not so slightly dirty martini...$9.50 for the vodka, and a $1 up charge for the olive juice. Why not just charge $11.50 & $10.50 for the drinks? It would make it easier to swallow the cough syrup Cosmo, and filthy (not slightly) dirty martini. We didn't want to call our bartender/server, on these issues as we could see that she was the only bartender/server for the restaurant, so we could see that she had a lot going on. We could see that she was stretched thin for attentiveness. We will try again because of the good food and service we have had in the past. read more

They are social distancing the tables, servers are wearing gloves and mask and the service was great. I sat on the patio and had calamari, Salmon Mascarpone and Shrimp and Scallop pasta. All dishes were absolutely delicious. The calamari tasted delight as it wasn't cooked to long and weren't from the freezer. The smoke salmon with capers were a delish. The pasta dish was amazing. The crunchy Parmesan cheese of the shrimp added great texture to the dish. read more

Don't be scared away from this place due to its proximity to the motel! Pleasantly surprised at the cozy and somewhat upscale indoor dining room-we sat outside to enjoy some privacy and while the view leaves a lot to be desired, the food and wine menu make up for it. Homemade bread and garlic olive oil starter are great. Lemon chicken soup is tasty. Filet mignon was overpriced but tasty; garlic cheese green beans were delish. Friendly wait staff with honest feedback about menu options was appreciated! Try it! read more
