They were delicious a perfect medium rare steak with sautéed onions ,peppers, and mushrooms with a bourbon glaze. Our Server Jesse was great he did an excellent job. I hate to rate it this low, but I've ordered from this place twice via Uber Eats, and both times the food was thrown away despite us selecting a later pickup time. Today, the restaurant told us we should stop doing this. Apparently, they make the food immediately and discard it after a while, even though we requested a later pickup on Uber Eats. As long as you manage your expectations, this place is great! It's apart of a small chain of restaurants, and there's a lot of good value on their menu, especially if you're having one of their food/drink specials. Our server was attentive and on top of refills. The interior is a little dated, but it made me kind of nostalgic. They have a nice bar while ample seating and plenty of tables in the dining room to accommodate a lot of parties. The food was pretty good, the fries are your typical Sysco fries and the salads are pretty good. The burger patties are hand formed, so that's a major plus. The rolls were great as well, we took out a couple baskets of those! The salad bar didn't look super fresh, but I'm sure if we came at a busier time it would've been in better shape. We're new to Smyrna. My wife insisted Legend's couldn't be so bad and have such a full parking lot. So we went to celebrate a birthday. I ordered a medium-rare steak of the day. I was served an old brown shoe. It was so over-cooked it snapped into pieces when I tried to cut it. I used some table steak sauce to try and revive it. But that steak was deader than dead and could not be saved. I hate having to complain. The place seemed fun and the ambiance was fine. I paid the bill. But I did not eat. I want to thank Legends Steakhouse for once again giving a free meal to Veterans on Veteran's Day. While most places only offer a minimal drink or dessert, or a limited menu to Veterans on this day, Legends offers the full menu except NY strip and Filet mignon. We went later for dinner and they were out of ribeyes, but had prime rib which I prefer. My spouse had the hamburger steak. They always have a great fresh salad bar and several sides to choose from. Of course we did have to pay for drinks and dessert. But overall we were comped $57 off an $80 bill. They also had a special cocktail they called the Patriot. I will say the service here is always good and even though they had a very busy day, they were still friendly and efficient. We often eat here when it's not free. read more

I have supported this local business since they opened here in Smyrna, TN. but over the last couple of years it seems like they don't really care anymore. I placed a to go order for their Cajun grilled chicken Alfredo. I picked it up and got home to open it up and find there was no chicken just bland Alfredo pasta. I called them and they asked me if I would like to come back up there and get the chicken and I said yes. When I got there, the young lady told me that she was the one that took my order and she apologized because she didn't hear me say chicken, but then proceeded to tell me that I had to pay more. So I asked her if I had to pay more since it was their fault and had to make two trips and she said yes, so I left without the chicken. knowing that when I got back home with or without the chicken, the pasta was going to be cold so I decided to just take it all back. I told her I wanted a full refund. An older lady I assume a manager came and I handed my card to her. She evidently did not feel the need to apologize for their mistake or for my time wasted, and just handed me the card back and said she refunded it to my card.
