They don't even know which insurance plans they accept--every one of our claims was incorrectly filed as out-of-network when they were actually in-network. Fixing this has been a major hassle, and despite multiple messages asking for the billing manager to call us back, no one has returned our calls. Instead, we were told that the doctor's wife handles billing, but no one knows when she comes in. We are now receiving final bill notices, yet the office has locked us out of the patient portal due to non-payment, making it impossible to access our records or communicate through that system. When my wife asked how she could reach her doctor or someone who could help, she was told to use the portal--the very one we had been locked out of. All we are trying to do is get them to resubmit these claims correctly as in-network so we can pay the bill and move on. That's it. And yet, we're met with roadblock after roadblock. To top it off, they advertise themselves as a concierge practice, which is laughable. Concierge medicine is supposed to provide premium care, personalized attention, and easy access to the physician and staff. Here, they don't even answer the phone over lunch. Why not stagger lunch breaks like any other service-oriented business instead of shutting down entirely? The final straw was when my wife--who is battling stage 4 cancer--called for the third time to resolve this, only to be scolded for trying to fix a 2024 billing issue in 2025. Unfortunately, we had more pressing matters last year. We're done. As soon as this gets resolved, we'll be finding a new doctor. If you're considering this practice, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

This all changed today and I want to warn others, not because I think there's a problem with the medical review, but office operations and policy for the office are in a word concerning. When making an appointment, I received a text from the office asking me to "text a screenshot of my medical card" so they could verify coverage. This was extremely disconcerting in an age of identity theft and personal information security breach. Despite this, I complied with the request and informed the office assistant that I would review my concerns with the doctor because this was highly irregular. The office assistant informed me "I truly don't I can do much with just your insurance card. I would need all your medical information." What I was trying to point out wasn't that she would personally do anything with my information, but that the possibility of a patient's information residing on someone's personal smartphone wasn't probably the best policy. I again emphasized that if that information would be lost, the doctor would be liable. Two minutes later, this was followed up by another text, "I will delete the image now that it's in your chart" and that the alternative for sending a screenshot was to drive to the doctor's office prior to my visit as they were trying to save me from an advanced trip. Funny, when I had changed my insurance in the past this was never an issue. I didn't respond to this text and again, complied with the request without further issue. One hour later, I receive a text "after conferring with the office and completing a full cost-benefit analysis - it was decided that perhaps you should find another practice that suits your needs better than Associated Medicine Physicians. We took the liberty of canceling your visit. Be well." I wanted to post this here because it's important for both customer and doctors to understand how serious securing personal information is in today's world. Most data breaches happen not because the original intent of the information by the initial parties was to do something detrimental. Rather, data breaches happen often because those handling it either aren't completely clear about the limits and extent to which the technology their using (assumed deletion) can be used against them by bad actors, or, most common, unintentional transfer of information usually done unknowingly. Regardless It's important to call this out because no one wants to turn on the news or read online they were unintentionally a victim of a data breach. Dr. Levy is a good doctor. However, I'd think twice before sending my personal data via text to an office assistant if I were still a patient with the practice.

Anyone who grew up with "The Brady Bunch" knows that being a stinker is the absolute worst thing ever ("Bobby is such a stinker!" "Marcia, you know I don't like THAT WORD!!"). My gene pool (lookin' at you, Dad) has made me prone to allergies and my nose seems more than happy to react to whatever in the atmosphere it doesn't like. Reactions range from mild pouting to a full-on revolt. On the bright side, I haven't had a cold in 18 years, so I guess my nose likes me sometimes. Moody little stinker.... Despite the Challenge (note the capital "C") that my nose presents, Dr. Pomerantz has helped it cooperate better with the world around it. There is no cure for what ails it, but there are many drugs/treatments/options out there for people like me, and Dr. Pomerantz has always given me good advice and recommendations. My nose will never be perfect, but it's definitely much less pissed off now. Really, can you give less than 5 stars to someone who not only improves your quality of life, but is also super nice, even when he pulls gross crud out of your nose for you? Dr. Pomerantz also cleans ears (I know because I heard him say, "Let's clean your ears!" to a patient in the next room...I should be a detective!). If I ever need an ear cleaning, he's totally my guy. Although if I come to him with more problems, he might think I am stalking him. But it's likely this review already took care of that.

He's great. but ASK if he's going to do anything that will cost more than your additional copay. Because you figure an ENT looking up your nose was normal. Not a surgery that costs $500. Their billing department is a mess. The visit was over a year ago. It's unpleasant getting a new bill over a year later painfully reminding me that this was a very expensive 20 minute visit, stating I actually owe even more than initially billed. Lake Point urgent care should be the reference from which every other urgent care center is modeled: the facility is spotless but warm and inviting, the staff (especially clinical staff) are 10/10 on both medical proficiency and bedside manner, and you get answers and treatment...FAST. I don't understand why other urgent care centers...not to mention internal medicine offices...can't operate this smoothly. We typically get in and back at home with a diagnosis and filled prescription in about a hour. Dr Radovic, who owns the clinic and practices there I believe most days, is a top notch doctor who has consistently gone above and beyond for my wife and myself. If you live an hour away or less, you shouldn't go to any other urgent care.

I have since seen Dr. Peterson at Covenant, and while I respect her as clinician, I cannot be more disappointed in her staff, particularly her billing person. I was billed for a service that I did not receive during a visit. When I called to discuss this, the biller was utterly disrespectful, rude, and demeaning. She shouted at me, would not let me get a word in, and when I tried to speak, she repeatedly cut me off by saying "LET ME FINISH". I have never been treated like this by anyone, and the call left me in tears. When I spoke with Dr. Peterson about it, her response was equally disappointing. She didn't apologize even once for the treatment I received, but instead insisted (without evidence) that she provided the service I was questioning. This week, I got another bill for the same service. When I called the office, the same biller responded in the same aggressive manner. She did not want to listen to me at all, and right away she interrupted me with "LET ME FINISH". Instead of receiving listening to my issue, she shut me off and said "I will tell the doctor that you are refusing to pay." Needless to say, I will not be returning to this group for my care. I happen to be in the healthcare field myself and oversee operations of 10 clinics. If any clinic staff ever spoke to our patients in this manner, they would be immediately released. Clinic culture is established from the top. These clinicians are too busy making money to care about respect for their patients.
