PARS CARS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!! Avoid Pars Cars at all costs. This was by far the worst car-buying experience I have ever had. During my test drive, I heard a loud noise coming from the vehicle and asked the salesperson about it. He looked me straight in the face and told me it was caused by an aftermarket muffler. After purchasing the car, I learned the truth: the transmission was failing. I relied on the information I was given when making my decision to buy this vehicle, and I feel completely misled. A transmission problem is not a minor issue--it's a major, expensive repair that affects the reliability and safety of the vehicle. Had I known the actual cause of the noise, I would have never purchased the car. Because of the condition of this vehicle, I have been left without dependable transportation and now have to take public transit to get to and from work. I spent my hard-earned money expecting a reliable car and instead ended up with a vehicle that has caused stress, inconvenience, and financial hardship. The entire experience has left me with absolutely no trust in this dealership. I know that if you're considering buying a car from here, you can't get one from a REAL dealership at a reasonable price or at little to no money down, but trust me you're better off on the bus! These people knowingly sell crappy cars and ask you to bring it back to them if it needs fixing, but they won't actually fix it; Just put a bandaid on it to get you through the lemon lot time period. The interest rates are even higher than the mileage on their cars. The salesmen are sleazy (think Tubi movie car salesmen) and they never answer the phone. I have had this car for 4 months and it needed a new engine within the first 2. The guy that sold me the car texted me asking how things were and when I told him, no response lol. They sold me a $30,000 " 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee" with 120,000 miles on it (over priced by 80%) My motor started ticking within 24 hours and no one is returning my calls or giving me any insight on a refund, switching vehicles, or repairing the vehicle that they robbed me for. Was duped into making a promo video and false review (original review removed). Never told the car had rust damage. So much so Firestone couldn't work on it when i took it for a tune up and alignment because the frame was broken. Also they broke lemon law by selling me a car with a broken frame that poses a safety hazard. I have no idea how it passed emissions with the exhaust leak on it. They have a poster in the united auto acceptance office to do an early trade by paying up $2-3K for the duration I had the car and the manager Dean said I could not meanwhile i had the money and was ready. When i told them to pick up the car at Firestone because of the condition it is they (Dean with United Auto Aceptance really) became highly unprofessional and told me i had to contact Pars. Meanwhile Pars is a buy here pay here. United Auto Acceptance had a lien on the car and in house with Pars Cars as its family owned. I did however call Pars at his recommendedtiom and was sent to a voicemail which 3 weeks later I still have not been contacted back. Their tow truck driver Michael Smith gave me a run around about my watch I forgot in the car. He refused to give me the address so I can retrieve it myself and told me there was no watch in the car. It was a metal G-Shock watch for $200. My wife thinks he stole it after hearing a conversation between he and I, and frankly her intuition is usually right. Ok so I went to the Mt.Zion location and they tried to sell me a 2004 Toyota Avalon with 111k miles on it for $13000 when the car is only worth 4 to $5000 and I admit my credit isn't the best but that's why I went to them. They steadily say your job is your credit but kept throwing my bad credit in my face. They wanted me to put $3000 and $245 every 2 weeks but I told them I only had $1000 to put down and i was comfortable with $200 every 2 weeks so their counter offer was $2500 down and the salesperson kept throwing up my past repo of a 2016 car in my face so i countered with that car was worth $13000 with 8 miles on it but this car is a 2004 with 111k miles on it is worth the same. I was trying to look up the blue book value of his car but he kept interrupting me but when I walked away from the deal. Because I wasn't going to be bullied into another bad deal that ended in repo again. I had a chance to finally see what that car was truly worth and my jaw dropped. Blue book says that car was only worth around $4000!!!!! A $9000 profit before interest. Some real slimy work tell me I'm approved for a $13000 vehicle but try to sell me a $4000 car for $13000!!!!!! Now that's some real predatory lending if you ask me!!!!!!!!!! The crazy part is that he would've got me had he not been so greedy on the down payment!!!!!! If I could give this business 0 stars I would! Where do I begin I went in there once I was approved they tried to sell me a Toyota. The dealer told me to drive it in the parking lot. The car you could tell didn't drive well it needed some work done to it. I looked at the OD and it had 214k miles on it. I couldn't believe it lol they really tried to finesse me with a car with over 200k miles on it. I told him I was good. They took my money before the deal was even finished before I signed any paperwork they are shady. So they showed me a 2010 mustang which was at their Duluth station and the dealer pressured me to drive it saying I'll like it better. Before we went there they had me sign paperwork. The paperwork in the contract had 20% interest the car was 20k then interest was 19k they tried to charge me 39k for a 2010 car lol. I didn't sign that crap they are crazy. They then came back and was like we can offer 9% interest and it came back at like 30k for the car I still didn't sign it because they told me all their cars are sold as is with no warranty. I was like heck nah I've never been to any dealership that didn't offer no warranty at all. When I drove the mustang it made a noise when the car came on and the steering wheel was tight and I could feel grinding on the bottom of the steering system. I said nah I was good. The dealer then sat at the location almost another hour and I told them I felt like I was being held hostage. He told me you can leave whenever you want to leave. And I was like how you drove me here when I said I could drive myself. Short story I seen him walk out the side door and he crunk the car up he tried to leave me there. I knocked on the window and was like you trying leave lol that dude crazy. I would've called the police if he left me. They told me I couldn't get my 1800 down payment I paid in cash until Monday when they open. I went there and had to wait 3 hours till I got my check. I'd never ever recommend them to anyone. If no stars for a business could be possible it would be for them!! "Car salesmen" are not knowledgeable about their merchandise and just says whatever they think you want to hear. The manager barely wants to answers questions and just the demeanor of the majority of the staff is rude and unprofessional. I just purchased a car there and brought it back to get the detail that's included with purchase I assume and all that was washed was the outside. The car was still filthy inside! The detailer rebutdtaled about having 72hr to bring the car back however it's been 2 days! Even still why is that an explanation for the car not being properly cleaned inside?? It's a very rushed process and everyone seemed annoyed to even have customers. If you're big on customer service like I am, please don't waste your time and give them your money! They say it's not based on credit it is we know credit rules all I am fine with that. I told the guy no to the down payment requested he handed me my papers and walked out his office before me. The worst customer service experience I've ever had. I went in on a Tuesday and let the salesman (Maurice) compile the necessary documents to submit my application. The company I work for gives us handwritten checks with no stubs, so I make copies of my checks for my records and that's what I presented to him. He takes my information to his sales manager and returns approximately 10 minutes later and tells me "I'm approved"! He then proceeds to tell me just come back with your down payment and choose a car. I return the next day to see if I can test drive two vehicles I had been looking at. He goes and gets the keys and midway to the car he asks me do you have proof of income. I was shocked. I said I already gave that to you and you said yesterday I was approved. He then says he can't let me test drive a vehicle until my application was approved. I go to the sales manager (Malcolm Monroe) and he says the same thing. I can't let you test drive a vehicle until your application is approved. We need verification of your income. I told him I brought that yesterday and your salesman told me I was approved and all I had to do was bring back the down payment and choose a car.
