Beautiful sunset.

Wonderful expertise! Crew was exceptional and made us feel so welcomed. We had a great cruise with exceptional dolphin spotting! Would definitely recommend Parrotdise Express'

Afterglow of sunset

Whether you see dolphins or not, this is always a great venture to take guests in town. We only saw one dolphin off in the distance on our sunset cruise, when we left the Dunedin arena, but we saw quite a few at Honeymoon Island that day so it wasn't a big deal for our guests. The threat of rain loomed, so we didn't go the planned route, instead routed around it. (This is Florida in the rainy season). The first mate was prompt with the drinks (water, soda, beer, sangria, punch, wine) and the atmosphere is totally jovial. There is some sea spray if you sit up front at the bow but it's warm out so it wasn't an issue for anyone. We did see an interesting sunset though with low clouds and rain off in the distance. If you don't have a boat but want to go out on a great short boat ride, this is it. We've been on it at least a dozen times and always have fun.

What an incredible experience we had tonight! My parents were visiting from the west coast and we wanted to send them off with a bang! It did NOT disappoint! We saw about 12 dolphins during our cruise, the sunset and the soft music was so nice. We will definitely be booking again soon!!!

The crew (Capt. Dave and First Mate Shawn) were so much fun and did an awesome job! They offered drinks and made sure to check on us. We got to see so many dolphins and the sunset was amazing! Would highly recommend them to anyone visiting the Clearwater/Dunedin area!

I don't know where to start. This experience is much of the reasoning for the love I have for Dunedin today. From a young age, my family and I have attended the Parrotdise Express many times with many different people- nobody was ever disappointed. The trip takes you from Dunedin through Clearwater, providing you with many excellent views and experiences. The dolphins act like they are literally putting on a show for you, jumping besides the boat leaving a splash. The excitement on the boat is unmatched. Captain Jeff is maybe in my top 10 people ever, as he never fails to multiply the enjoyment of the experience- always shouting "jump dolphins jump" like a magic trick that actually works. In addition, he even has done a special trip for my grandparents to renew their vows- taking them to Caladesi Island and creating an experience for my entire family. However, no matter who your captain on the boat is, they will make your experience memorable. Overall, if you are visiting Dunedin or even Pinellas County at that rate, you have to stop at the Parrotdise Express for an experience you will never forget.

My husband and I took the sunset cruise for my birthday and it did not disappoint! We've been on many charters, but this one stands out. Captain Jeff was fun and engaging. Taylor was our 'hydration specialist' and she couldn't have been sweeter if she tried. We got all kinds of area fun facts and the dolphins were out to play. We will definitely be back!

We took the Snorkel and Shelling trip to Anclote Key with Captain Ron and his "hydration specialist" Shaun! They had plenty of water and other drinks, plus sanitized snorkels and bags for shells. We saw several dolphins. The snorkeling spot was beautiful and we saw many fish, crab, and even a starfish among the sea grass. Ron and Shaun had great senses of humor and were both very knowledgeable of the area. This is our 3rd year in a row traveling to Indian Rocks Beach and we usually just stay on the beach- we are so happy we made the short trip to Dunedin for the Parrotdise Express!

5 stars all day everyday. I wish I could work with these guys! Captain Jeff and his Hydration Specialist Shawn make these dolphin cruises! The boat is large enough for so many folks to enjoy. We've taken the sunset dolphin cruise twice now. Complimentary beverages aboard, bring cash to tip. Relaxing ride. They can't predict that you will 100% see dolphins, but this is such a good activity if you have family or friends in town. Price point is just right, you certainly get what you pay for.

We have gone out on Parrotdise several times and it has never disappointed! Every time we've seen dolphins, even though there's no guarantee obviously, and we always see an incredible sunset. Even tonight when we went out, it was overcast but we still managed to have an incredible cruise with good temperatures, lots of fun, drinks included, and beautiful skies. I highly recommend this! The staff is awesome! And the Captain is fun, informative & friendly. Get your tickets now!!

This cruise was amazing! From friendly staff to the all you can drink on board it's a great pick for adults. While the captain can never promise dolphin sightings we ended up seeing 4 different times and the dolphins were interactive. The sunset was amazing and the bathroom on board was clean! Highly recommend!!

Great staff, free drinks included. Bathroom on board. Got to see several dolphins. Very friendly first mate and captain. Sunset cruise was awesome! Thanks Jeff and Sean. Make sure to tip the first mate at the end of your trip.

Dolphins!

We have never had a bad trip! Seen dolphins every time. Jeff is a funny and great captain and Clayton will definitely keep you hydrated (as well as all the other mates) They offer a great informative tour of Dunedin and Clearwater and always point out great points of interest (who would ever guess that The Rolling Stones wrote Satisfaction in Clearwater!)

We brought our food and drinks and there was enough storage on the boat for all of our stuff. Our captain navigated us well and took us to the best spots to see dolphins and a nice quiet private beach. Then he showed us the perfect spot to stop and take a ride on the slide. The whole process was seamless and the experience was great. I highly suggest you book with them!

I was very pleased with how well Captain Randy communicated and provided additional insight. Upon closer to the time for our day I had a follow up conversation with Cassie who provided even more information that brought comfort not only to me but my guests as well. They provided a cooler with ice and water as well as numerous floats and shelling bags. The whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. Our captain for the day was Jordan and she was Spectacular with keeping us on time and showing us around. We did a 4 hour boat tour but were able to have time on the slide and visit two islands. Truly an unforgettable experience for families and groups alike. 10/10 will be booking again for a longer time. Thank you for providing a wonderful experience.

The Mosaic Art House is located in a residential neighborhood, close by a small lake…read more My husband, our little girl dog and I are really into non traditional attractions and often times will look up things to see and do on roadsideamerica.com. My husband discovered this home on it and decided to make a trip out here on a Tuesday afternoon, around 1:30 pm. I had emailed one of the owners (Carol) and made a phone call earlier but unfortunately had not heard a response. On a whim, my husband decided to just knock on the door and ask if we could have a tour. To our surprise, Blake answered the door and was more than happy to offer us a tour of his home. According to Blake, his wife, Carol, had just had cataract surgery and so she was not able to join in on this tour (which also made sense why I had not heard from her via email. However I do want to mention that she did email me back the next day after this tour visit). I want to briefly talk about both this highly talented husband and wife team. Carol Sackman has a background in art and Blake White is a self taught artist. Their home is covered with objects that include antique button jewelry, mosaic tiling, glass and dishware. There is a lot of Asian pieces used for some of the sculptures and covering on the the walls. This labor of love took about 15 years to make and this couple still have plans to continue adding to it all. Blake started out telling us about some of the artwork he and his wife had made on the front porch and then lead us to the side of the home where we saw a few bird baths and a large Saint Bernard dog (which he referred to as the guard dog). Here it was where Blake just briefly talked about "Brother Can You Spare A Dime" panel that he made for the St. Petersburg Folk Festival. This panel expresses how he feels about corporate greed. Another panel we come to was made by Carol. Blake had said that one of her friends had breast cancer and just wanted her friends to get together and create some art. Once in a while, some of their pieces here around the house may be collaborated with their friends but most of it was created by the 2 of them. Blake eventually led us to the backyard where there are still even more colorful panels. I especially love the tree of life panel that is in the middle of the back of the house. Blake also shows us his art studio, which is different from Carol's. Blake really likes to dabble with doing his own tile glazing (in which he has 2 large ovens, or kilns, in the corner of his studio) and tells us about what has inspired him to decorate his studio. Later on he takes us to Carol's studio, which has a different vibe and creativity. Carol likes to paint on fabric and also likes to use buttons and other types of objects in her art. We were told that they also like to teach art classes in their home and will travel (mostly in the summer) to various art shows to try to sell some of their art (they consider their art to be folk art style). After that, we are taken inside the house from the back entrance. Here we see Blake's bathroom, which of course he also decorates to the same style of the outside of the home. Later on when we come to the kitchen, we see coffee cups and sauces made out of tiles on the walls and flooring and coffee stenciled all along the counters. Blake and Carol are big time coffee lovers (and love cats as well, as Blake said they had about 9 or so cats). We eventually make our way to the living room where Blake shares a few stories with us about some personal items that are in the room (like a painting and this boat that was brought back from China from a good friend). And then we conclude the tour outside, right back on his front porch. Blake tells us that the arch way that is in front of their home was made by their friend Bruce. He made it out of wood and this talented couple just started decorating it. On the front of the arch way, at the top, has words "Changes Make Waves". On one side of the arch are pink letters that spell out Carol's mother's name and some of her friends, in a way to honor them. We were told that pets are also honored too. After the tour, Blake more than welcomed me to stay and take all the photos that I wanted and to take my time to look at everything. My husband and I (and I'm sure our little girl too) felt so honored to have a tour by Blake and truly enjoyed learning about him and Carol and their inspiration for creating their home. If you are looking for something out of the box, consider checking out the Mosaic Art House. If you are interested in a (free) tour, you can email Carol, carolblakeart@gmail.com or call 727-736-4036.
