Over all those new car-buying experiences - and not counting the few used one's we purchased from a dealership as well - none came close to the quality of care we received from Andy and Ben. (I should include my initial online contacts with Dan, as well.) To a person, they were competent in their demeanor with us; considerate and friendly; authentic (as in, "being real" and not a "salesman"); educated on the facts and admitting it when they were not - but were willing to find out; genuinely sincere. We came away with not only the car that we were looking for, but with the sense that we actually made friends with some individuals who, when they leave their "day job," are the same at home with their families. They helped us above and beyond our expectations, and our expectations are not low, but nor are they unreasonable. Adam's conscientious time with us in test driving and getting Joy the right vehicle she wanted, was simply matched by Ben's absolute friendly expertise in managing the financial aspects of the purchase. Get it all done in 30 minutes then we have to wait for the finance guy to be available.... 3 hours later we are still sitting here waiting to finish. If they would have said on the phone its going to be a few hours...I would have waited at home and come down later. Also everytime we asked how much longer...we were told 20-30 minutes or youre up next. DONT TELL PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR, TELL THE TRUTH. The windows tint came out perfect and as for the paint touch up people really need to understand that only so much can be achieved with a touch up job and even when it comes out really good it is rarely showroom perfect even when companies do their best with what they have to work with, so the choice is simple,you either spend 6 grand or more for a new paint job or a couple of hundred for a decent touch up job. It's just not the same level anymore. Where things really went totally off was in the touch up paint job I paid extra for. It was the absolute worst touch up paint job I've ever seen. I left a review on Google and the response was ridiculously childish. They first said well we weren't doing a full repaint of the vehicle. Duh? I new that! I simply wanted the chips touched up. Then they totally changed their argument. They said well we threw in a wheel wax for ya! That had nothing to do with what I had paid for! None of this had anything to do with the lousy paint chip touch-up that I paid for! All they wanted to do in their excuse parade was deflect to something else. The professional adult response should have been to bring it by and well take a look at it to try and make it right. After bringing my bike in for lost keys, a repair I was told over the phone would cost a few hundred dollars was suddenly inflated to a thousand-dollar charge for a new fob system. When I calmly questioned the owner, Phil, about cost-effective solutions, he dismissed my concerns, rolled his eyes, and walked away. During that first service, their installation of the new fob system compromised the bike's wiring, resulting in the security light staying on. To fix this, they installed a red light bulb that ultimately melted the housing of my custom smoked lights. When I returned to address the melted plastic, the manager initially admitted the damage was their fault, but then told me I had to pay for the part. After I declined to pay, he informed me that Phil had added a note to my file banning me from the dealership solely because he believed I had written a bad review. This level of retaliation and poor service is entirely unacceptable. I will be escalating this matter to Harley-Davidson corporate and the Better Business Bureau to ensure a thorough review of this partnership's practices.
