I took my SUV to get washed Dec 19th. As I was leaving I noticed my rear wiper arm was broken. I went to report it, filled out a form and asked, "Now what happens?" The man looked at me and said, "I don't know ma'am I just work here."
I waited several days, but never heard back. I called and was given the corporate office number. I left a message, never a called back. A week later, called and left another message. I finally received a call back from Susan. She explained she was out of state due to the loss of her father. I expressed my sympathy and went on with talking business. She informed me that since my vehicle was 10 yrs old and it's usually hard to get parts for cars that old, they usually don't fix them because it isn't worth it.
I informed her that since we hadn't received any calls that my husband had already fixed it. It needed fixed since we were expecting bad weather. She again told me her dad had passed. When I told her I understood that I had had an uncle that had just passed, she insulted me and said my uncle was not as severe as her father. She proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't have assumed they were going to be responsible for the damage. If they decide to have it fixed, they take it to there mechanic for repairs.
I'm floored I was treated this way. She definitely should not be in charge of customer service. I simply was asking for them to cut me a check for the $40.00 for the wiper arm. I know $40.00 is not that much, but proper business etiquette would try and keep a customer happy. She told me she'd speak to her husband and call me in a few days. A week later, no call. My husband spoke with her and again, very rude. Her husband called back, and we got nowhere with him either. They did not care if we wrote bad reviews. So the next time you need your car washed, drive out of your way to go elsewhere. They don't care about their customers or their reputation. But if you do choose to go there and something happens to your vehicle, make sure you call Susan at (574)255-6101. read more
