My medically fragile child and I.

I hit no because if you're anything like me you will have a hard time unsubscribing! Can't figure it out! I need drive and shine to cancel my subscription and give me last months $ back!!! Now they are trying to take yet ANOTHER payment and I'm screwed. I'm homeless with a 2 year old special needs kid. I NEED every penny I have to feed him

On January 24,2026 I visited the Drive & Shine car wash in Mishawaka, Indiana, and paid $20 for a car wash. While my vehicle was inside the wash, the automated scrubbing brushes moved past my wheels and forcefully knocked my front bumper off during the wash cycle. I immediately notified staff on site. Management claimed the damage was pre-existing, which is false. Prior to entering the car wash, my bumper was fully attached with no looseness, damage, or warning indicators. The bumper was only damaged after the vehicle entered their wash and was impacted by their equipment. The business stated that their car wash "has not caused damage in 20 years," and used that claim as justification to deny responsibility. However, no proof of pre-existing damage was provided to me, and no inspection was performed before my vehicle entered the wash. The damage occurred during normal operation of their equipment. This incident indicates either equipment malfunction, improper brush pressure, or failure to safely guide the vehicle through the wash system. As the damage happened while my vehicle was under their control, I believe Drive & Shine is responsible for the repairs. I am requesting that Drive & Shine: 1. Accept responsibility for the damage caused by their car wash equipment 2. Cover the cost of repairing my bumper 3. Provide their insurance information or claims process I attempted to resolve this matter directly with the business, but my claim was dismissed without proper investigation.

They assured me that not having the proper transmission pump equipment wouldn't be an issue and they would "just hand pump it." My mistake for trusting them; I should've known not to take a specialized transmission to a drive through oil change. Although they insisted they could "hand pump it" They screwed up the flush, and the transmission was spinning, gears not shifting properly after pickup. Then... the skid plate fell off the vehicle and my partner almost crashed the car. I filed a claim and allowed them an opportunity to inspect the car for a claim, then went against their word and fiddled with the transmission again, deciding against towing it to the dealer as they had committed. Pick up the vehicle, round two, car reeks of transmission fluid. Drive straight to the dealer and upon inspection they confirmed not only was it done improperly the first time, the car was still two quarts low on fluid. I submitted all my paperwork for a refund, hoping for a satisfactory resolution after days of phone calls and tow trucks, rental cars, back and forth with customer service reps and their goofball manager. Guess I'm not surprised the "manager" Brayden called back with a smug tone that "Toyota lies" and I was SOL if I were expecting any reconciliation with Valvoline. I asked him to just admit they didn't know what they were doing and were at fault... I just wanted someone to hold themselves accountable. He told me tough and hung up on me. I would've settled for him to just own up and acknowledge they made a mistake, but since he was incapable I'm pursuing legal action now. Throw away your coupons! Go somewhere where they have the proper experience and equipment. And somebody sign Brayden up for some proper customer service training.
