Just amping this place up. Blew into DMV area on late Christmas Eve. Settled in at hotel across the street. Spent Christmas day with family in Woodbridge. On the drive back to Springfield need some essentials. Only had hundred dollar bills. Sign said that no large bills accepted. It was accepted and I thanked the cashier for his time and being here on Christmas day. On day of departure we stopped and fueled up before heading to DCA. The concrete pole barriers need to be in BRIGHT YELLOW color!!! They all stick out way too far out and not visible to drivers as the color matches the ground! NOT THE BEST SET UP THERE. It's like a booby trap! read more

This place has a clean gas station area, a convenience store on the inside, and a brush-less car wash. When it comes to gas, you only care about price. Well this place is one of the most expensive in the area. It is probably due to its location right off the Fairfax County Parkway and near the turnoffs to various highways and intersections. I give it 2 stars mainly to the price of the gas and car wash. I tried the top car wash they have yesterday and it wound up being $14. I was supposed to get $1 off if I got 8 gallons or more of gas but I guess that is just a big lie. The receipt machine at the pump was out of paper so I had to walk inside to get my receipt. The car wash bay is ok but the price is way more for what you get. I timed the wash to be a little over 4 minutes including the 1 minute of drying time. The wash got all the pollen off but so would any other gas station bay wash for half the price as there are many for $7-8 in the area. The dryer is a plus for the longer time than usual but you can easily pay $5-10 more at a professional car wash location and have the car cleaned inside and out. Overall, I'd avoid this gas station unless you can't find another. Cost is usually $0.10-0.20 more per gallon than others in the area. read more

They sell gas and are pretty clean on the inside. They also offer a car wash and bathrooms. So many gas stations don't have bathrooms and that gets annoying. The gas prices are pretty reasonable being that they are almost the only show in town and right off of a major highway. read more

The price was a lot higher here than where I live. I guess we have to pay for the convenience of hopping off of the highway, but I don't have to like it. The pumps were clean and not any trash around that I saw either. Normal selection of gas three types with Premium 93 as the top. There is a food mart inside if you need anything. read more

The car wash was a complete disappointment. I purchased the Deluxe wash and only got about half of what was supposed to be included. The first thing that was supposed to happen was the undercarriage wash, but by the time I pulled forward, the undercarriage wash had already stopped. I got the normal wash cycle, but I never got any wax and the wash cycle was basically one pass over the vehicle. Pretty pathetic for a deluxe wash. Here are all the facts of my horrible experience with the Parkway Express station in Lorton, VA TLDR; I was told by an employe I could park my trailer with a flat tire in their lot, only to come back by the time I said I would return and they towed it. Ron Mason (Manager) said the owner had it towed and he could do whatever he wanted and that if I kept complaining he would call the tow company and have them charge me more. I had to pay $80 to Dominion Towing to get my trailer back. On 7/16/19 at 1 am, I rolled into the station with a flat tire on my trailer (8x12 single axle enclosed trailer). I was coming back to DC and got my first flat tire an hour into my trip. I put on my spare tire, and the spare tire failed 3 hours later. I went inside to speak with an employee (Jason). I explained that I had a flat on my trailer and no spare. I asked if I could drop my trailer in a parking space. He said they also owned the parking lot next door and I could leave it in the front row. Needless to say, I was more than thankful for this! I said let me leave you my contact info; he said: "Ohh, that's a good idea." he gave me some receipt paper, and I left my full name, contact number, description of my issue and trailer, and return time (noon). I handed it to him, said thanks so much, and let him know I would be back by noon with a new tire. I pulled the trailer over where Jason instructed (first row of spaces). I chose the first space, which was an end space, so the blown tire was against the curb. Fast forward 10 hours to 11:30 am on 7/16/19. I return to find my trailer was no longer in the space I parked it in. I head inside to find out what happened. I give a quick rundown to the cashier, and another employee overhears me and says: "It was towed this morning, I thought you came and got it?". I said I did not, and who towed it, he said Dominion towing, I asked for the number, and he said it's on the sign in the parking lot. At this point, I went to get the number of the towing company and call them. I spoke with Kelly at Dominion Towing, and she gave me the details (she could not release the name of the employee who called), and they towed the trailer at 8:30 am. She told me it was $160 to pick it up. Now I go back inside Parkway Express and ask to speak to the manager on duty. I introduce myself to Ron Mason and explain the events again. I ask Ron to put himself in my shoes and think if he had a roadside emergency, went in to speak with an employee who said it was ok to park, then when you come back, your now being told it was towed, and you have to pay $160. I asked what did I do wrong and why should I have to pay to get my trailer back? He says, let me find out who called them and goes into his office and closes the door. He returns and says the owner of the station called to have the trailer towed and says Dominion is willing to reduce the fee to $80. I thank him for that but ask why I still should have to pay anything. He repeated Jason said it was supposed to be gone by 6 am. I asked if he had the note I left Jason when I came in at 1 am, he said no he does not. I asked why nobody called me when I left all my contact information. He says he does not know why I was not called. At this point, I ask for the contact info for the owner. He now gets frustrated and says he has already talked to everyone. I explain I want to ask him why it was towed and why wasn't I called. He said if I kept asking the same questions that he would call Dominion and have them charge me the full rate. I said, do not threaten me. He got more frustrated and said if I had any more issues, I would need to take it up with Dominion; I said that is not the case as they were just doing their job. Ron, then says he can tell me what the store owner will tell me, "he can do whatever he wants." I asked can I quote him on that in my reviews? He said you are going to write a review, then said he was calling Dominion and closed his door as I was walking away. read more

Split decision here on the stars..... The gas is near highway robbery. Which given that its literally at the end of the 95N off ramp, I guess I can see why. But its usually easily a few dimes higher than anything else in the area so only get gas here if you're desperate. Now the real reason to visit - the deli counter inside the convenience store. They have wonderful soft fresh bread every day for the sandwiches. Six bucks will get you a 6" sub, small chips and a fountain drink. The staff is always cheery and friendly - and sometimes will make you wonderful "off the menu" things like the scrambled egg, ham, veggie and cheese thing I got one morning when I really didn't want a breakfast sandwich. There's a few things that irk me - like they pre-cook the eggs into little rounds to make filling orders for breakfast sandwiches faster. But I've seen the hungry construction crews and truckers that come and line up in the morning so I'm sure speed is of the essence. They have a basket of fresh fruit at the register, a wide selection of beverages in the cold case, and the hot dogs aren't 1/2 bad (for convenience store hot dogs). So yep, I'm probably here a few times a week as its just up the road from work and a good place to stop and get lunch. read more

I've recently started visiting this location because it's convenient to one of my job sites. Typically it is very busy around the gas pumps and the cost of the gas is sometimes higher than other places. Going into the store I find it very clean and neat and organized. The employees are usually always very nice and helpful, The only downfall I see is the deli, and I hate to bust on this but it is a weak point. It is mostly the employee that works it, usually not super friendly and the choice is average. Don't get me wrong I like this easy in an easy out convenience of this location but it has a few weaknesses as we all do, but overall it's a good place very clean and I'll continue to use the property and it is really the only choice in the area and can you conveniently located for travelers on and off I-95 read more

I go here a lot easy access off of the highway and easy back on. But today I try to buy some items that total $9.11 They ask do you have a penny I said no. I do not have any change. I gave them a $20.00 She said it was dirty and asked for another. She did not like the other one I gave and gave no reason for it. And asked for something smaller. Came here for the car wash. Really thankful to have a car wash that there's no line. It's simple and in good condition. Paid for the deluxe carwash, it was easy etc. Most my car looks great, but the car wash did not wash the roof of my car at all. It's covered in grime after sitting under trees during pollen season and it's just his grimy now as it was when I started. That's disappointing. Nothing beats the places that you can go to you and hand wash your own car, but there's not a single one of those around here. i'd recommend this place if you just need a good suds and rinse. read more

As far as getting any snacks(cookies, crackers, candy or anything in that category), meals, drinks (of any kind, including bottled water), the prices are too high. The Prices Parkway Express Charges, is an absolute ultimate rip-off. A COMPLETE RIP-OFF. Even if the staff there is nice, the price is not their fault, it is the company president's fault, the Vice president's fault, and the marketing managers fault. Regardless of being off of I-95 and Fairfax County Parkway (Old Backlick Trail east of I-95), their is no reason, nor excuse to charge the rate they charge. The only thing this gas station is good for if you need gas in emergency situations, or to go to coin operated vacuum cleaner to clean you car, that is it. If you need to find any convenience stores, you can find 7-Elevens in Springfield, Franconia, Alexandria (by way of traveling on I-395 north towards Washington D.C.), and Arlington (by way of traveling on I-395 north towards Washington D.C.). Even if their deli is fresh, SORRY, but the price affects my decision, not to patronize Parkway Express, regardless whether or not they seem nice. They could earn more money, and more customers, if they do not charge anymore than, five or ten cents more than 7-Eleven. They charge seventy-five cents to a low one dollar figure more that 7-Eleven, depending on what you buy. If you are willing to buy there (at Parkway Express), I hope you enjoying the products that you bought. But if you are the other type that not only needs, yet wants to watch your dollar and cents, and desires better pricing for any refreshments, avoid buying from this place at Parkway Express. read more
