The initial appointment should have been my first indication, the technician could not read the prescription in my existing glasses-the doctor said she would use the machine read them but never did-they also did not do a peripheral vision test! Dr. Tyler Claunch was very friendly/personable, and efficient. He and the other staff were patient with my son and explained everything they were going to do before doing it. It was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Claunch is very authentic. We will definitely make this our go-to optometrist office.

My glasses were completely destroyed in the wreck too. This amazing Eyemart Express location helped me right away even though I wasn't even a customer. The gentleman who assisted me was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He fixed my glasses on the spot at zero cost to me and my family, and took the time to explain that buffing scratched lenses is basically a myth -- because the thickness and curve are part of the actual prescription, any attempt to "de-scratch" them would ruin the RX completely. This is exactly what humanity should be about -- helping our fellow man with no expectation of anything in return, especially a family that had just moved to a new state and was already struggling. Eyemart truly saved me in a great way that day and restored a little hope when we needed it most. Thank you so much to the whole team! I'll definitely be coming back as a customer. Side note - I personally felt safe in regards to COVID. There were hand sanitizing stations, the center seemed very clean, the assistant mentioned that the equipment had been sanitized before my use, and Yelp mentions that all the employees are vaccinated. The staff was friendly and competent, as was the doctor, Julie Motes. Her exam was thorough and smooth, even though I had my toddler with me the entire appointment. I've ordered the same contacts for several years, but the doctor informed me that they had a new version out. She gave me a sample and included the cost breakdown of my old contacts versus the new model - so helpful in making informed decisions! Another huge point: I have never used vision insurance for my contacts prescription, and my visit to NW Vision Source was no exception. Because of this, the doctor discounted my exam fee and contact fitting, making it extremely affordable. NW Vision Source was such a good find. I will absolutely be a long term patient.
