Well I'm currently sitting in the exam chair and I have decided this place is definitely 5 stars. Atmosphere: the receptionist was nice, no paper charts to fill out which was just fancy AF and convenient. The waiting room is clean and there's not weird loud music happening or a weird children's corner with magazines from 2003 Service: the girl who brought me back was super friendly and I got a FREE TSHIRT. I mean, I thought I was going to the eye doctor, not a basketball game! Also free espresso coffee's, what-the-heck is going on here? Overall: I got my prescription, I got my tests done, they didn't make me feel weird about not ordering stuff through them, pretty much an excellent experience and I recommend everyone go here at least for the free t. This place is the best! I've never had vision issues until recently. So I made an appointment to get checked out. The process of checking in was so smooth! The facility is so clean and luxurious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made my first eye exam a breeze. They had an excellent selection of frames. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helped me pick the perfect pair of glasses. They had my glasses ready within a week and they look fabulous. Highly recommend this place! I have gone here twice and have been disappointed both times so I will not return. First time I came here they insisted I had insurance which I did not have, and billed my visit to another insurance plan, which meant I had to pay $40 for my visit (they didn't know how to look me up with my *actual* insurance I said I had). My visit should have been $10. So when I called back and explained, they told me it would be too hard to refund it because the insurance has already been billed and the next year had started (I saw them in December). Second time, I waited over half an hour in the waiting room, and another 45+ minutes just to get the doctor to see me. I might be late for work today because I assumed allowing two hours for a regular annual visit would have been enough, but it is not looking like it will be. This is ridiculous. read more

Update to my previous post. It's past the first of the month, and my benefits should reset. I've talked to my insurance company, and I get a certain amount towards contacts and then another amount towards a contacts exam. As Part of my benefits, I can apply the dollar amount from one benefit to another, so essentially I can use my glasses allowance and exam allowance towards my contacts as well. So I can cornerstone and say hello, I got glasses a few months ago, my benefits should reset as it's been the 1st of the year. There immediate "very rude" response was no...if it's been a few months, then you have to wait a whole year so you have to "pay out of pocket" for your contacts. And then I had to argue and convince her to check my benefits and finally was like yea you do have a contacts allowance. Except...they wouldn't let me use the other contributions towards my contacts as well...AS STATED in my benefits which I confirmed with my vision insurance company...so I asked them to email me my prescriptions so I can buy them online. Still don't have that email Bottom line: they have a horrible business model. I wonder how many people just fall for their odd ploys. You're much better off going to Anothwr "chain" or even better, shop online which is what I'm planning on doing! I'm getting a years supply for the price they had for 3 months...same exact contacts. It's really a joke what some of these businesses do unchecked. read more

I refer everyone I know here. So, you can make appointments on line, which is fantastic, IMO. Once you do get there, the reception area crew are the nicest and most helpful souls. They always remember me, which seems like a pretty big feat considering how many people they see day in, day out. My fiance sees Dr. Sparks, who is amazing and thorough. He recently suggest the iZen lens for his new glasses since he is in front of a computer all of the time. Some of the newer research has linked blue hues with eye exhaustion and inflammation, which lead to other bigger problems. My fiance is extremely happy with his new glasses! I see Dr. Pickard (and one time saw Dr. Redwine). Dr. Pickard is so kind, and he really takes his time. I never feel rushed, and I always feel like my concerns are met. Overall, very competent staff from reception to techs to doctors. Yay glasses! read more

I came home raving about how much I loved this place. First, I was able to do all of my initial paperwork, insurance, etc. online. Super convenient. When I walked in, I gave them my name and ID. That's it. I waited for a very short time before someone came to get me. She gave me a tour of the entire facility and escorted me to my room. In my exam room, I found a gift bag with a water bottle and card personally addressed. That was such a nice touch! I was offered an espresso drink and chose a cappuccino, which was delicious. Everyone is so friendly and genuinely cares about you and your eyes. Beautiful office. You can make appointments online. You're given drinks& snacks if you wish! - Detailed review: I haven't had an eye exam in quite sometime because of insurance problems so as soon as I got a new insurance I looked and found this place that took it. I scheduled online with my requested time and not even a hour later got a reply with a confirmed appointment for that time. (They even send texts reminding you on the day of) Showing up I realized their parking lot is very small and crowded , a little hard to park. Thankfully I was told they're in the process of having that fixed to make bigger. Walking in I thought this office was very well decorated and set up. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and took care of checking me in and even calling my insurance to make sure everything was all set. I don't remember her name but the technician who took me back was very friendly as well. I was handed a gift of a written welcome and t-shirt walking into my room. They even have a menu that looked like it was from Starbucks if different coffee drinks to chose from and juices and snacks they offer you. She asked all the questions and did I guess 'pre exams' before dr.sparks saw me. BEST PART , I didn't have to deal with that horrible puff of air in the eye that usually takes me forever to get past. They have a nifty camera to do a quick picture of your eye (you even get to see the cool pictures of what it looks like behind your eye, nerves and all.) ! I was seen by Dr.Sparks who was very nice and got right to the point of me being able to see better. Overall, as a new patient I am very happy to have found this place and will be telling all of my vision disabled friends to go here. Dr. Pickard and the rest of the staff are so wonderful. They were friendly and accommodating from the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Pickard was sure that I was comfortable in my new contacts, even scheduling a 1 week follow up to make sure I want to stick with them. I've never had a positive eye doctor experience but this has changed my mind. My family has been going to Cornerstone Eyecare for years. Everyone in the front office and the doctors are knowledgeable about his/her specific job and also very friendly. When Dr. Sparks told me I needed cataract surgery he spent a lot of time with me discussing the surgery and the optional"add ons". My only concern is the staff in the optical portion. They are very nice but don't appear to be as knowledgeable as the staff from a few years ago. read more

The staff was pleasant, but after going in with a concern for an eye infection the doctor put me in contacts. Needless to say, I had to go to another eye doctor after my eye infection got worse and was in glasses for three months as a result. I would not recommend. read more

I've been going to this optometrist office since 2004, and have dealt with Dr's Redwine, Pickard and Sparks. Every single one of them is so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I do the OptoScan every time, rather than deal with the dilation and this machine takes films of your eyes so the doctors can compare them to previous years. The cost is minimal compared to the hassle of the old fashioned way. They have a great selection of glasses, and the technicians are very thorough. The office also texts you appointment confirmations/reminders, which I love. Wish my physicians office did that. read more
