We have been seeing Dr. Ruth and and her team since 2015. She and her staff of Tom, Ben and Nicole are kind, caring and professional. The location is very spacious, doctor-ly, yet comfortable. They have a wide selection of frames, and lenses. We wear glasses, so no comments on contacts. The whole team has your eye's best interest in mind and they go above and beyond. Dr. Ruth is very thorough and informative when she discusses your needs. This was a welcome find when we moved into the area. They offer a few late appointments and are open on Saturdays, which is a big help.

They called today and said the doctor I was scheduled with next week wasn't under contract in Shawnee so they had to rebook my appointment to November 28. Unacceptable. They would not budge to get me in sooner. I can't see and can't get new glasses because of the cataracts. I would not consider BVA a reliable clinic. Right now..... there is NO way I would allow them to do the surgery. Unreliable and obviously unknowledgeable. Contacted my insurance company and they sent me to a highly recommended clinic nearby. I called Vision Source and filed a complaint and hope they reconsider who they refer their patients to. PS... I will think twice about returning to Vision Source... these big clinics only care about $$$$ and not there patients
