Parkside Cleaners isn't just the best dry cleaner, but they are so personable. They always give my dog a treat and ask about me and my family. They press my dress shirts so well and they even texted me the other day to tell me my winter jacket was ripped. They asked if I wanted my jacket sewn. They are always so detailed and produce only quality work, but what keeps me coming back is how kind they are to my family. My dog is a big fan because they give him big treats!!! read more

I have used Parkside for both dry cleaning and alterations. Dry cleaning was perfect. No dog hair left on my suits, and everything looked brand new. The alterations were amazing. They had to remove so much fabric because I'm short, so good bye to about 1 ft of fabric. They did a great job of making sure the buttons on the sleeve remained as details, even while the sleeves were drastically shortened. They were fast, friendly, and budget friendly. 10/10 read more

So, here's what I've learned over my short lifetime in regard to cleaners: Live and learn. Meaning: Some seem great up front but then nyour clothes during to cheesecloth over time...meh. I have a good feeling about Parkside though. The staff is on top of it and while maybe a little pricey, they are a super local business so I'm happy to pay a little more to make sure a good dry cleaner stays alive. I'll be back to launder my good threads as long as they love them as much as I do. read more

These folks aren't nearly as good as they think they are. Where do I begin?? First they charge $2.90 for shirts. That's about a dollar more than EVERY OTHER DRY CLEANER. I asked three people why they charge damn near $3 dollars and I've been told A) "we are better. We take more time on the collars and cuffs." Ok I'll pay a dollar more for that. B) "we do our cleaning in house." Dummy that should make it CHEAPER because you don't pay someone else. Duh... C) "I dunno" the only true answer I've attached pictures of my collars which look like straight dog ish. I also attached pictures of pants which came straight out the bag with creases/wrinkles still in the legs. Wtf? Crazy! Ok let's talk about this drive thru thing, because you know that's their jam. First off, why don't you bring the bags to the car and hang them up in the car? Instead these girls hand you the stuff through their window then you have to get out of your car to hang them in the back or drag them through the window and hang them next to you. If I gotta get out what's the point of a drive thru? If I gotta drag them through two windows, what's the point of pressing them? Just inane. Also I should be able to drop off my clothes in a bag. Also they claim 24 hours but they always push you for two to three days then I have to insist. And no it's not more than 85 degrees outside LOL. Y'all just need to try harder and get people that give a damn, especially if you're going to be the most expensive dry cleaner. read more

Used them when my daughter got patches sewn onto her varsity jacket many years ago- recommended them to her when she was in town and had to get a bridesmaid dress steamed fast - they delivered- then last week ordered and got same day a personalized charcuterie board !!! So brought in 12 shirts to get laundered along with a couple other things . Was given 2 pick up slips no prices on it . Picked it up looked at receipt they laundered 5 shirts dry cleans 7 twice the price and never let me know if the shirt has polyester in it even thou it's 45% they on their own dry clean it without notification. So I question the tattoo girl why and she talked down to me . I asked why are these dry cleaned she refunded me a couple bucks for 3 shirts . Then I asked why are the dry cleaned shirts mixed with the laundered shirts I was told just cause it's a dry clean tag doesn't mean it wasn't laundered and visa versa. I said don't you have a system she replied that's the way we do things here. If you want to talk to the owner she in tomorrow have a good day just dismissed me. I know I probably only send 500. A Year but will take my business to a place that's up front about charges and treats people better . read more

Liars! I took in a brand new dress to have it pressed only. Literally, the dress came out of the bag after being tried on and went directly to the cleaners. It is a quality (fairly pricy) 50s reproduction dress. When I got home and went to take the dress out of the bag from the cleaners, I noticed several spots on the front of the dress that look like chemical burns and then two large all the way through holes. I immediately took the dress back up to show them and they refuse any responsibility. They tried to tell me that I must have spilled bleach on it at home. I was so incensed and insulted that I nearly lost it. We are regular customers of the cleaners and I had just picked up a $90 order. You would think they would do a better job of taking care of their customers and owning the responsibility in what clearly is either chemical burns or burns from the press. We will never use this cleaners again and I will never recommend them to anyone. Now I'm out an expensive dress and they are out two longtime clients with lots of drycleaning. read more

Fast and friendly. They do 24-hour dry clean. They even have a drive-thru window for those of you that do not want to leave your car. Sometimes even have free candy on the counter. I would recommend this place to others to get their suits shirts and other things dry clean. read more

EXCELLENT customer service. I got a varsity jacket for my son there and initially was not happy with how it turned out. (In hindsight, I should have asked to see a sample of what the finished product would look like - my fault.) They were SO accommodating and went through a lot of effort to make sure that I ended up with something that I loved. I was really impressed with the service and I felt very valued as a customer. If I could give them less than 1 star I would! Took my wedding dress there to be altered and pressed back in June 2015. It was done being altered 07/30, went in tried it on, everything was perfect, the seamstress was lovely. She told me that all strings for the train's bustle would be color coded so that my wedding party would have no trouble tying it up, and that my dress would be pressed and ready to pick on my wedding day 08/14/15. I arrived to pick it up on my way out of town like I told the seamstress I would be doing, that was 1:00, with a hair appointment in Livonia at 1:45. I could tell by the look on the girl's face when she went to get my dress and came back empty handed that the news wasn't good! My dress was not pressed, therefore not ready! I had to wait a half hour for it to be pressed, therefore making me late for my hair appointment, therefore late for my makeup appointment, therefore adding immense stress to an already stressful day!!! They didn't apologize, and still charged me the full $185.00 that was the original price for me to pick up pressed dress on my wedding day!! If that wasn't bad enough, the strings for the bustle were NOT color coded, and a bit hard for the girls to carry out tying up in another stressful situation!! I would not recommend taking your wedding dress here!! Over priced, not ready when promised, and not completed as promised!! read more
