This is a poorly run business. They gave me the wrong item at pickup and yelled at me saying I was wrong. Very disrespectful and rude!!!

This laundromat is the worst I've been to. The machines were not clean and over priced. I believe in a honest run businesses with good customer service. This, is not one. I spent $6.50 to wash my comforter, and when I placed it in the dryer, I used the tumble dry low setting for 60 minutes, at $.25 for five minutes at a time. I pulled it out and there was dirt all over from the machine not being cleaned out. The attendant actually said there was no way that could happen on a tumble dry low setting. I asked the attendant if they could offer me a parshal refund to help me rewash and dry in a clean dryer but they would not. Instead, they insisted I just redo the entire process again at my cost, this time using a larger more costly dryer, as if that would effect the cleaninless of thier establishment. Vote with your dollars South Lyon. I will be heading to the dryer cleaner in town, Parkside Cleaners for all future needs. read more

I would highly advise NOT to utilize this business. Unfortunately, I experienced such unprofessional service and I'm still flabbergasted that in these times, people can still be so unkind. I had my comforter taken in for cleaning and I was given the wrong comforter back, although the owner (or owner's wife, Becky), insists it is mine. We originally dropped off a 120x98in white down comforter, less than a year old and in almost new condition, and when my comforter was picked up a few days later, it was a much smaller (84x60in) worn comforter with a large brown paint or blood stain. We then took it back to the laundry and the owner is refusing to rectify the issue stating I'm wrong and it is mine. When I called to speak to the owner, Becky came on and was rude and became very irate when I indicated i was owed the full amount (comforter plus $24.99 cash paid for cleaning - which is $195). I then went physically to the location to measure the comforter they were trying to give me and told Christy (employee) the measurements and confirmed again this was the wrong comforter. At this point, it was only about 10 minutes after I had called and Becky had left the premises. I was also denied a refund of the $24.99 paid in cash for the cleaning when it was originally picked up. I expect to be compensated for the full amount. read more

Variety of washer and dryer sizes. Fair prices. Good magazine and snack selections. Saves investment of buying expensive washer and dryer at home. Its the millenial way and anyone who wants to be debt free. FYI to anyone new to laundromats: it is common practice to always check the machine before using; you never know in the rare chance someone abused the machine (ie washing oily work clothes etc.) before the attendant had a chance to clean it. read more

So, I searched the net to see if this laundromat takes dog beds. Internet says they do along with Horse Blankets. Ok. Off I go. I began to put my dog covers into the very large washer and have my bed in hand. Attendant asks me if it is a dog bed. I replied yes and covers. She tells me they do not take them!! I am stunned. I ask why when she tells me clothes go I there. This makes no sense as the clothes and the beds are rinsed. She can wipe it out if necessary. I must be all wrong. Very disappointed. read more

Last night I had to go to a laundrymat for the first time in over 20 years! You are correct if you guessed that my washing machine broke down. I googled and found Lions Pride. I was greeted with a smile and a hello by Crystal. She was wonderful. She helped show me how to work the machines, assisted me in making change and made sure I had everything I needed. The place was very clean and comfortable. I felt right at home. Crystal mopped the floor while I chatted with her a little. What a great experience. I will be sure to go back, especially after I found out they also do your laundry for you for a small fee!!! read more
