This is my second time visiting, I don't know why I didn't check in the last time, but I made sure I did this time. So I'm writing a review off of this visit and my last visit that was about 2-3 months ago!. Visit #1: I brought a pair of pants that were damaged because the original draw string started to tear and eventually it tore making it difficult to wear the pants without them falling down at my waist. I brought some string off of Amazon and I took them both to her( I apologize for not getting her name ) she is a great tailor and the sweetest lady you will meet in a business. Back to the review! I told her I wanted to replace the draw string and I gave her the new string. She asked me where I purchased the string from and I told her Amazon. She had my pants ready in a week!. I was happy to get them back, it was like I brought a new pair of pants!. Visit #2: I brought a pair of Levi's off their website, keep in mind I brought numerous pairs of pants and other stuff before off their website. But in particular all the pants / jeans were a great fit. So I assumed this pair would fit perfectly too. But I was wrong, for some reason the pants I recently ordered were weird fitting to me, kind of a wide straight fit, flare at the bottom and extremely long. There is no way I can wear a pair of pants that look different from the pants I normally wear. So yo make a long story short I took the pants back ti my favorite tailor and she had me try them on, stand on a platform and carefully asked me how much I wanted taken in and to how much to taper off, once I agreed to the areas I wanted tailored she pinned the areas. I changed back into my original pants I wore in the store, gave her the pants I want altered and she asked me if next week would be ok, I agreed!!!.. Let me tell you when I say her prices are jaw dropping cheap for the tailor work she puts in!. I will be returning and recommend you do if you're ever in a need of any type of tailor work or any alterations you may need!

I came in there on the 7th with all the items and really only needing the dress prior a specific date , however she noted she would be done by the 22nd. I did come in on that date and she seemed to have forgotten that she made that promise , but would have it completed the next day. The next day I go to pick up my items and she even honored a small discount for that inconvenience which I greatly appreciated because she really did not have to do that!!! Chief Mac's and Emma's Alterations were both swamped with orders. So I found 6th Fleet Alterations on Yelp. Reviews looked good and I called the shop; they were able to take my order and finish everything within one week. Fast forward one week, I picked up my whites and they an did excellent job on everything. Looking forward to coming back here for more uniform stuff.
