When asked about this location, I merely say "1800 Owens" as many a friend has asked me to parking advise when going to Warriors' games and concerts at Chase Center. Now I know the name of this building/parking garage. In Mission Bay, there is no shortage of parking lots especially with the number of medical campuses here. Not to mention the street parking spaces in the neighborhood on the other side of 7th Street. With the epidemic of vehicle break-ins in San Francisco, it is a visitor beware proposition if you attend an evening event in the neighborhood and park on the street. Weighing the risk reward versus lightening my wallet, I decided a broken window(s) or windshield was the deciding factor. The Warriors had a contract with this lot in Chase's inaugural season for season ticket holders. I chose this location because of the road access and traffic issues even though it's a 2.5 block walk. When the basketball venue reopened for the 2021-2022 season, the Warriors did not offer a contract to this lot though they had an unwritten agreement to work together for games and events. During the season, the event price was $50 per game and the prices varied according to the event; playoff parking was $60 and finals pricing was $70 for the past season. Do note that payment is contactless so be prepared (no cash). Their policy is that the garage is open until 60 minutes after the events' conclusion. Do also come earlier if there are dual events at Chase and the baseball stadium. The garage goes nine floor, at least according to the elevator buttons. Throughout COVID, they've provided sanitizers at the elevator entrances and limited riders. Parking here for about thirty plus games or events in the past ten months, I've found the process seamless. Big kudos to Laura and Eric, the two roll takers that helped me this past season. Congratulations on providing parking for a large number of loyal Warrior fans who just enjoyed their fourth championship in eight years! We'll see you next season when we defend our title! Go Warriors!

I also have a dash cam which shows me parking.. my own car at the spot he directed to. Drove in at around 12pm on a Tuesday.. Parked in many parking garage already in the past. Ticket at kiosk before entering structure. (Paper) Goes in and one of the works points at a spot so I park into it. He asked me to give him my ticket (the one from the kiosk). Then he says "leave the keys in the car" so I get out and say "ok is that it?" He goes "how long are you going to park here? me: 20-40 mins" And hes like ok go so I leave. I get back and try to pay for the parking and the guy asked for my ticket receipt. Well I don't have it because I never got one.. And so charged max price for the ticket 25$ for like 45 minutes.. Back and forth with cashier "How did you not get a ticket we wouldn't have parked your car otherwise?" Well its so strange.. because I parked the car... and I left the keys in the car when the guy asked me to. The ticket receipt is also a massive card thats thick I definitely did not get one.. How can I get a 25$ charge when they have when I entered. Look at the enter and paid time.. It's a piece of paper too not some fob or keycard that's magnetic so it would make sense to charge the max. What kind of parking garage has a system where a person is responsible for even giving you a charge receipt when every OTHER garage in just takes a ticket and that's the thing you pay to get out with. Maybe just a SF thing.. But here we have a ticket at the kiosk to then hand to someone else to give you a separate ticket??? TLDR Just use any other parking garage in the finical district.. Or I guess make sure you get the ticket. Also there are no instructions for this place which I guess is a no brainer what kind of parking garage has a system like this that would require instructions.

One of the best rates you'll find since the downtown parking shortage began in 2010 with the demolition of the Transbay Terminal for construction of the Transbay Transit Center. I guess life will be better when they finally complete construction in 2017... Until then it's a daily struggle for parking with "Lot Full" signs everywhere you look. Here's how to find 500 Howard Street for cheap parking...as of October 2011. Usually you'd enter Natoma heading north on 2nd Street. Usually, but no more! Now, heading south on 1st street after Mission, make a right into the alley-like street, Natoma. Helmeted construction workers/flaggers will direct you. Turn left into the first building for bargain parking. If you want to try to enjoy the construction, I think the only bet is the construction cam. Everything else about it sucks! http://transbaycenter.org/construction-updates/construction-cameras/mission-camera
