I mean, what can ya say.
It's your typical Irish post office. Opens ridiculously inconvenient hours, but with a friendly attitude!
The guys in here are normally pretty smiley and are a pleasure to deal with. There never seems to be too much of a queue, and if there is, it goes relatively quickly.
It's a small post office so they're not massively stocked in envelopes and boxes and the likes, but they have the basic essentials there.
One issue is parking - if you are driving, there's none around - you're better off going up to the Prussia St one as it's located within a Tesco, so you can park without fear of the dreaded clampage!
They close from 1pm - 2.15pm every week day (I just don't understand why post offices do this - surely, surely they could stagger their lunches to enable people who work 9-5 to use their services?) Anyway, if you do work from 9-5, they do actually open for a half day on a Saturday til 1pm, so all is not lost. Unless you were out the night before... But hey, that's your problem! read more
