The Parker's on Ladson Road should just be closed in South Carolina. Every time I come here the bathroom is closed because the person working there is too lazy to clean it. Gave it a second try after I made a complaint and still didn't see any improvements. I actually saw more areas to file complaints about including previously reported areas. I don't know why I called them back, knowing that they didn't take care of the first issue, thinking they would take care of the second issue. I went to store number 79 on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard on October 20 and went to three different gas machines, put my card in for gas and it told me try a smaller amount than 2M. Then it rejected my card. I went inside to have to pay for my gas. Explained the situation and the girl kind of mumbled something and I asked her what she said, and she said huh. After I was done, I wanted to clean my windshield and there was nothing in the windshield washer area and the trash was overflowing. I went inside the store to get lunch items after ringing my order up, I asked the young lady for my receipt as she walked away from me. When she came back, I asked her if corporate's number was on the receipt. She handed it to me with rudeness stating that I should have been nicer and I explained to her I was not rude at all. I just asked you was corporate phone number on the receipt. I proceeded to call corporate leaving very detailed information including time, date, store number, and exactly what happened. I was greeted with somebody that says that they pride themselves on customer service. I was happy to know this was going to be taken care of and just a fluke. So today, October 21 I went back because I needed air in my tires. They were very low and as I was trying to put air in my tires, the air machine was not working. The machine actually took air out of my tires when I was pressing in thinking it was putting it in. The trash was still overflowing. I have a picture to show proof. I then had to ride to another gas station, which was not even close and now tires were even lower. I called back to the customer service rep Canyon and explained the new and old visual issues. (I was already upset. I know I should have not called but I thought based on our previous conversations she cared. Canyon said the manager wrote 2 hours ago he would take care of it immediately. He did not!! I was trying to explain myself, but then I was told that they couldn't physically do anything about it until two hours ago when they personally spoke to me. I explained to Canyon, who told me that customer service was top priority that I was talking over her, and I was yelling which I was not. She proceeded to hang up the phone on me. So I called her back and before I could even get greeted, she answered the phone by saying if you're going to yell, I am going to hang up again. I politely said I am not yelling at all. You will not let me talk. You will not let me explain and you're saying things repeatedly when all I'm asking for is help. At this point I asked her to get me a manager. I was then presented with the fact that she is customer service manager and I said no I want a manager above you because I can't believe that you guys are treating people the way that you're treating people. I got a manager on the phone, but by this time I was so upset I just wanted to file a formal complaint. It should have never gone this far and I just told the lady that I was going to write a review and I wanted to file formal complaint. I went to the website and couldn't find the formal complaint form that she was talking about. It was the same complaint form where it had somebody call me back and I'm not gonna do that again. So here I am on yelp explaining the situation to customers who are going to be going to that location. Please don't! Please think twice. Don't waste your time and energy. Back in December I got gas from the Parkers on 52 in Moncks corner didn't make it 5 minutes up the road checkbebfine light came on multiple cylinder misfire 300p error... After spending thousands to get injectors ingintion coils, spark plugs... Ended up draining the tank all 26 gallons to get that crap out my brand new truck now it runs fine. This is not the Parkers standard that I know! As a former resident of Savannah, I'm sorely disappointed in this location. The Coastal Empire is riddled with them locally owned gems and we love them! They are always clean, the folks friendly and the kitchens serve up delicious food. I'm really not quite sure how this location performs so badly. The level of traffic here is so high, I don't understand why there is never hot food. No one even in the kitchen. Today they were out of ALL sizes of coffee cup. That doesn't just HAPPEN, it's mismanaged. I'll just go to the McDonald's across the street and spend my companys gas money elsewhere. The location is very easy to access when you need to get in and out and be on your way. One older African American lady is so kind and if the store is out of bagged ice, she will offer to go and make one for you. They are constantly running out of bagged ice and when they do, they let the freezers sit empty for days at a time. Your other option is to get a fountain drink, ice only, but it is full price. Great selection, well lit, clean!, slightly slow staff. Self check out counters might contribute to that. Only one am aware of in the area... interesting,, worth looking into the franchise. Get a rewards card and register in less than 3 minutes on the indoor kiosk-- great deals to be had on most store items and you'll get a free soda loaded in the card as well. Never in my life have I ever felt so uncomfortable in a gas station. There's a short older man with long brown hair that works there that I can only describe as being the walking embodiment of lead poisoning. He goes beyond being rude and is just a horrendous man. I watched him openly shame a customer who's card got declined, then he physically pushed another man away from the counter. After seeing this, I really should have left instead of giving him my money, but I didn't. When I was my turn to check out, he asked, "Alright, whaddya want?" acting like my presence was a burden on him. Mind you, I was extremely polite even though he didn't deserve it. I guess I hoped being kind to him would change his tone. I work in customer service, so I know how people can be, and sometimes kindness can turn your whole day around. That was not the case. After I paid, I made sure to thank him, but he waved me off and said, "Alright, whatever." I've never left bad review on anyone before, but this guy really deserves it. The dirtiest Parker's I've EVER seen. Bathrooms were disgusting with no TP and both toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Soap almost out. Made me think "where are they washing their hands when making the food?" Couldn't use one of the self-checkouts because the screen was too dirty.
