Wow, I took a Craftsman chainsaw to Yama Lawnmower Service, Sam, for repair. I could not get it to…read morestart. He said it needed a ignition coil and did not have the part, nor did he try to get the part. I purchased the OEM part and gave it to him. He reluctantly agreed to continue the repair. Two weeks later, after multiple calls saying I needed it for a jopb, I got the chainsaw back. After multiple attempts I finally got it to start, then it died. Never got it to start again. When I called to check on the status, his demeanor was almost angry that I called, like I was a burden. Shortly after I dropped off the chainsaw and before I knew of his terrible customer service and disgruntled attitude, I took my Poulan blower in to this shop. I previously installed a new carburator, but got the fuel lines mixed up and needed help. Sam repaired it, and got it running. He said he rebuilt the carburator (the brand new one) and adjusted it. I took it home and it started but ran poorly, did not rev up properly. I took it back and he told me to start it and he took it from me and made some adjustments and it ran well. His attitude was horrible. This was during the wait for the chainsaw. I have never encountered such poor customer service and communication in my long life and will never return to his shop, it was actually very stressful to me. His wife was helpful and friendly behind the counter, but that does not compensate for his behavior towards me, or the poor running and non-running tools. I was never aggressive or rude in my communication and was at a loss for the way he treated me. I am probably going to toss the non-running chainsaw and buy a new Sthil unit, certainly not from Yama. I would not recommend going to this place and I will certainly never return. Sorry this is so long, but any future potential customers should be informed .
