Their team is reliable, honest, and so responsive that I felt like I was some sort of VIP. From the start I found their quotes to be reasonable, and it was clear that the attention to detail they gave set them above the rest. They have painted my house, done work on my patio, have painted many friends of mine homes. Never once have I heard anybody give them anything but praise because they do live up to the standards we all expect. When they say you're home is your temple, they certainly treat it like that.

I tried to contact the Captians Painter for 6 months before they reluctantly responded to my concerns and sent a painter to do some touch ups. At this time, the painter and I found many other areas where poor paint coverage were discovered. Now less than 1 year later there are more areas where paint is peeling on the walls, soffit, and facia. I recommend you do not hire The Captains Painter. They did very poor preperation and painting work at my home. I am no hiring another contractor to repaint the areas that are peeling. This is very disappointing.

What a fantastic job Cesarrrrrr (lol..i extend the R when I say his name...he always laughs) and little Ulisses (who is a master at drywall and finishing and caulking) did on my house! I had a wall that was under my dining room window that needed to be removed (the sheet rock) and also the baseboard needed replaced. All done and looking neuva! I had to use a translator to communicate but thats ok they understood what I was saying and I understood what they replied! I also had my walkway and driveway pressure cleaned and painted. Its BLINDING how clean and bright it looks now! Rodney, I cant thank enough and the guys (ceaser and ulisses) for such an outstanding job replacing the sheet rock and the base board and fixing the crack on the wall and doing my driveway and walk way! While home repairs like this are not inexpensive I was grateful that I was able to afford to upkeep my home, (thanks to my dad). Using my inheritance on good things I know pleases my dead dad, myself and my community. It also increases my home value. Thats a win win in my book! IF you have home repairs give Tru Colors a call and let Rodney give you an estimate. She does amazing tile work and she really helped me bring what I wanted to life. There were times where she knew exactly what I was looking for even though I didn't know how to describe it very well (total lack of imagination on my part ha). Somehow, she even made our tiny shower space in our master bathroom feel more spacious! Her team's drywall work is flawless as well. Shannon's attention to detail sets her apart from the rest and she always made sure to keep the space as clean as possible throughout the process. She also took care of some other renovations that we have going on such as painting, our kitchen backsplash, and a few other sentimental projects that are still underway including the pictured accent wall that I love soooo much. A million stars for Shannon. Thank you so much.

I contracted with this company for tile work in my bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom was to…read morereplace tile in the shower area, floor tile to include baseboards and bedroom floor. I later included the resurfacing of the bathroom walls which was an additional charge. The work commenced on a Wednesday and was supposed to take 7-9 days for the bathroom with the bedroom commencing about a week after the bathroom was completed but the actual time was 12 days. The added work was discussed and approved prior to the contractor giving the 7-9 day time frame. The work was progressing very slowly during the first week and only after my questioning the pace did the progress meet what I would expect of a contractor. I will say the end result looks nice but my concern is the bones of the work. The waterproof board installed was a good product but from what I have researched online was not installed the best way possible. The board was not brought down to the tub lip but instead had a large gap between the tub and the first board. To my knowledge the board should cover the tub lip and have ~1/8th gap between the tub surface and the board and this is not the case. I was told they would fill that with the caulk used for the product but IMO this was just not the proper way to do it; acceptable perhaps; but not proper. The joints were also filled with a bead of the caulk and from what I see should have looked more akin to a dry wall joint type installation. With that said the tiles look nice but I am concerned with longevity. The contractor also ran a wire to a new mirror I was having installed and the installer did not use a plastic bushing when pulling the wire through the box and did not tighten the connections. I only noticed this due to me changing the switch and outlet to match the new color and found charring on the GFCI outlet they pulled power from due to the wire not being connected properly; see picture. The missing bushing could have caused a cut in the wire over time and arcing which could potentially cause a fire. After the bathroom was completed and prior to my discovery of the electrical issues I asked when they want to start the bedroom at which time I was informed it would be a month because they found a bigger job. I found this unacceptable and cancelled the remaining work. I think the contractor CAN do nice work but they do not pay attention to detail and will take shortcuts so would not recommend them.
