I have to wait until the warmer weather breaks to repair it properly but in the meantime , this amazing man, climbed a ladder and broke the ice damm with a hammer/shovel in order to allow proper drainage off of the roof thus preventing future water damage in my home while I wait for warmer weather to arrive and repair it correctly . The work is sloppy and the reliability and promises he makes are completely hollow. He was asked not to return to our home to complete the project as this was an infuriating choice and experience. I've detailed out the entire experience below. The list of excuses as to why he didn't show or communicate are also endless.. after 25 days Agreed Start Date: 6/3/2024 Agreed Length of time to completed project: estimated 10 days Progress Notes: Day 1 (6/3): (start date planned as 6/3/2024) No show Monday morning, Levi texted at 930AM, running behind, got to get paint and supplies, see you tomorrow 730-830AM. (after messages Sunday saying he was getting paint that day (Sunday) Day 2: (6/4):No Show; texted Levi to ask where he is at 10AM, response: money is held up in Venmo, then called, stated he is busy on another job and will be by tonight 630-730PM to drop off supplies for Day 3 start. 830PM I messaged Levi, he was still on another job, and will be by in the morning. (2x in the same day blew me off with no communication) Day 3 6/5): Levi showed up with another guy and left him here after collecting more money, and said he would return about 4-430PM to help the other guy. Never showed back up, no communication. Other guy cut, and painted main room, stairway, small hallway ceilings. Day 4 (6/6): No Show: No Communication - texted Levi at 945AM to ask where he is.. response wasn't received until 1130AM, be there soon. Other guy shows up at 1230PM, on phone and in truck till 145PM, cleaned up the plastic and supplies in the main room and sat waiting on Levi for supplies. Spoke with Levi on the phone about 5PM and he was still on another job, and will come by in 40-is mins-6PM to discuss moving forward. Texted at 750PM, On his way, had to get his kid, showed up at 815PM Met with Levi to go over the scope of the project for a 2nd time, it apparently wasn't clear during the quote visit. Planning on 6AM start Friday, Day5. Day 5 (6/7): Text at 630AM will be there about 715AM. James showed up about 1230, did a little sanding, and sat in his truck till 530, Levi never showed up with supplies. Saturday (6/8): spent the morning doing floors in the main room and cleaning up paint splatter on the floor. Sunday (6/9): texted Levi about 1030am to ask when they will be here in the morning.(late, so no response) Day 6 (6/10): Levi texted he will be here about 8am. showed up about 930AM. Cousin showed up about 1045 to help. Levi got one doorway done in the black , then took off for the day. The cousin was here till 330PM painting "high bond" primer onto the unsanded (poly'd) wood trim. No other word from Levi for next day plans. Day 7 (6/11): As of 10AM, nothing had been heard from Levi at all... No time of arrival, no message they wont be here today.. 530PM the helper showed up to take his trailer. Day 8 (6/12): The cousin showed up about 1245PM and worked on some trim painting and left about 445PM. Levi told the cousin he was going to meet him here, the cousin was suprosed he wasnt here before him, Levi never contacted me, nor did he ever show up on this day. Day 9 (6/13): No contact from Levi, messaged him at 10AM asking what's going on as no one is communicating with me... He responded pretty quickly with he just finished up with a project in Exeter and will be here about 1130, and will be here everyday moving forward until completed. Levi showed up about 12Noon and painted a bit till about 7PM. Will be here in the morning. Day 10 (6/14): Levi and helper James showed up about 930AM, did some sanding and took off about 1030AM, Returned at 1115AM and worked till about 3PM. Said he will be back in the morning. Day 11 (6/15): Levi showed up about 1130 AM and primed trim till about 3PM and done for the day. Will be back Monday morning. Day 12 (6/17): Levi showed up about 11AM and worked till about 330PM finishing up the prime on all the trim. Will be back in the morning. Day 13 (6/18): Levi texted about 1020AM to say he will be here about 12Noon. Showed up a little after 1PM. painted some trim and left about 530PM. Day 14 (6/19): as of 3PM, no word from Levi whether or not he will show up today... no message, no call, no show. Day 15 (6/20) Levi showed up around 1PM, explained he was on another job all day the day before. got to painting for a couple hours before leaving about 430PM. Went over the game plan, and said he would be here 8am tomorrow. Day 16 (6/21) showed up about 1230 and caulked and spread some mud on a few areas to be smoothed out, and left about 5PM. Said he will be here around 8AM in the morning with 2 other guys to bang some stuff out. Day 17 (6/22) as of 2PM, no message, no work done today, NO COMMUNICATION.. AGAIN, but now im used to it. I, however, spent a couple hours cleaning up the paint drips and blobs on the floor see more in photos!

I then called other roofing contractors, who came out and told me that, in their opinion, the roof boot around each roof vent where Mr. B's did the work, had been done incorrectly, with the nails showing and starting to rust through. I had to pay $900 for the repairs, which should have been covered by Mr. B's under their 10 year craftmanship warranty. I cannot recommend Mr. B's Roofing and strongly suggest you look elsewhere for roof work.
