Stop searching for an appliance repair service. Dave is your man. Disclaimer right up front: I am a…read morecustomer and not a relative. And, that being said, read all the other 5-star reviews and add mine to them. #1: Dave answers his phone. An amazing event in and of itself! #2: Dave makes an appointment and then ACTUALLY SHOWS UP WHEN HE SAYS HE WILL! Another amazing event. #3: Dave explains the problem and possible reasons for your appliance failure, gives you a very fair estimate of repair cost, educates you as to how to prevent a future problem, and then FIXES THE PROBLEM! (He has the most commonly needed parts on-hand in his truck.) I know all of this sounds like good old customer service, and, it is. But, in this day of Cablevision/Optimum repair guys who don't know what a customer is, or what service is, Dave is an anomaly. A one-man-band who has the experience and understanding of how to treat customers properly and build & maintain his reputation and business. I value his values and integrity. They are the same ones you & I have. And, therefore, Dave is your man! Call him with your appliance problem, I promise, you won't regret not having to make any more calls.

We found ourselves without a vacuum after losing it to the recent floods (amongst many other…read morethings) and I knew that we wanted to buy something that would be powerful, have an incredibly long life, could be repaired if necessary, and came with a warranty better than our cars. Having done my own research I had a good idea of the brands and styles that would probably work best for us At this point, it pretty much means that you need to avoid any big box stores and go straight to your local, neighborhood vacuum store and talk to the experts and check out what they have and get your questions expertly answered. I am so incredibly happy we met Marty at Ridgewood Vacuums. Not only is he genuinely caring about making sure find the right model that meets your needs, he went well above and beyond to help solve an issue we had. We decided on a Sebo model and this is the first one we ever owned. We've had Rainbows and Kirby's and Miele's and everything in between but we are thoroughly impressed with the performance, flexibility, power and build quality of the Sebo (we have the Air Belt K3 Premium I believe). Marty had to call in a representative of Sebo to address one of our concerns and Ryan also went above and beyond to make sure we are entirely satisfied, and we are beyond happy with our purchase and the attention we received. I honestly can't think of a better customer experience I have had in years. Truly. If you really want to make an investment in top-quality engineering that is built to last, it will cost a bit more than your run-of-the-mill brands at Best Buy or Target. But with it's night and day difference in performance, it also comes with a personal and attentive business that, unlike these incredible machines, doesn't suck. They made me a customer for life. Thanks Marty and Ryan.
