My wife and I started here because we had a wedding on at Orso. The location was convenient and the front office staff member we dealt with was really friendly, allowing us to check in early and just generally being pleasant. They also let me change my booking day without punishment when I booked the wrong date.
However, the place itself is not good. The room was old and tatty: the leather on the lounge had almost completely worn off, everything just look run down. There was a McDonalds cup on the balcony with about 100 cigarette stubs in it which makes me worry about the cleaning.
Speaking of the cleaners, they were routinely blocking the elevators or just walking around and seemed to act as if they were guests too. As in, not letting us take the elevator first, not saying hello, just generally not behaving the way you would expect them to in a hotel.
Again - great location, friendly front desk, but I wouldn't stay there again I'd just get somewhere in the city and travel a little further. read more
