I haven't been back here since it was sold to new owners and my girl Juliana left. But I decided to give them a chance and continue to support this local business. I just called at noon on a Friday and not only was there no answer, but there was no voicemail or anything like it. This would never have happened under Andre's watch. UPDATE: I changed my rating today from one star to three because of the response back from the owner that they had some phone troubles right during the time that I called. The only reason why I'm even leaving the review up is because while I did see a missed call-back from Park Place, there was no voicemail along with it. Perhaps I'm nitpicking, but one of the things I loved about PP was how tightly Andre ran his ship. It's so hard to find that these days where everything is just so fast and fleeting and careless. This MediSpa is conveniently located near my house. I had a gift certificate, so I decided to pay them a visit. The building is very charming. Inside is lovely and it has a peaceful, relaxing vibe. I received a warm welcome from the receptionist, and she offered me coffee, tea, or water, which was nice. My appointment was with Julianne Gentry. She was fantastic! She took the time to explain everything to me, gave me some helpful tips on aftercare, and answered all my questions. She was so friendly and personable. She also informed me of the benefits of being a member. I appreciate that she didn't try to upsell me or coerce me into becoming a member. However, the perks are worth it! I definitely recommend this place for any facial care needs. I want to give a special shout out to Cecilia who took care of me during my first visit, as this will not be my last. I let her know about my breakouts and skin concerns, and she was very informative and helpful with a lot of good tips about what I should be using to better help my skin. Aside from being very tentative, you can get a real good feel of how much she cares about her client's needs and wants them to succeed in having beautiful glowing skin. She made me feel very comfortable, and I felt so relaxed and enjoyed a little arm and hand massage at the end. I also enjoyed the candle and calming music she played. At the end of my session, my skin felt so hydrating and I felt refreshed overall, even after all the extractions. I love having a membership here because I can't survive without my facials and microneedling from here. They have the best at providing Botox (they don't try to load you up, just the perfect amount to keep it graceful) and they've added masseuses to the menu! I had my first one today and worth it. I do CrossFit and sit all day for work so this really helps me balance out the kinks in my body. COVID review: they've been open during COVID. They're still open now by appointment. I've reached out in Yelp and they get back really fast. The staff always wears a mask and gloves. They have you do a COVID screener and check your temp upon entry. I signed up for their monthly membership. It's real steal to be honest. I've been using it for a monthly facial. You don't just get someone to do a custom facial, Taylore, the esthetician, also gives you her recommendation on what items would be good specifically for your skin. Granted the items she recommends are a bit on the expensive side but it has really worked for my face. She helped recommend items for me to recommend my doctor and it's been working out well. I've gone a total of 3 times and each time has been great. I went once so far for a Microneedling treatment with Andre. I bought a Groupon for 3 sessions. It went really well. The product they provided to take home helped my skin recover. I would definitely recommend this place. They help provide consistency in your treatments unlike other facial places and really care about your home process as well. read more

DO NOT GET SERVICES HERE!! I hate to write this review, as everyone at Park Place Medispa was friendly and kind. But OMG this service was horrific. I got a lash lift and lash tint by Krista. So was speedy and informative and at first I loved it. My lashes were nicely curled and looked pretty. About 30 minutes after I left I noticed that they were continuing to curl more, starting to curl up into the creases of my eyelids. One eye curling far more than the other, making my face look lopsided. I called to let them know and they said that was normal and that it would relax in a couple of days. That did not happen! My lashes continued to WAY over curl, turning back on themselves and scratching my eyelids. My eyelashes look shorter, smaller, and honestly kind of freakish. My 15 year old niece said "OMG what is wrong with your eyes" the first time she saw me after my service. I called them a week after the initial service to tell them that the lashes had not in fact relaxed. I wondered if there was something they could do to fix it, or at the very least give me a refund. They said "nope, we don't offer refunds" and told me i had to just wait it out 6-8 weeks! TWO MONTHS with freakish looking eyelashes. When I said this was unacceptable they said "you wanted your lashes curled, and we did that!" Yea, I wanted them curled but I didn't want curly-qs!! Everything I've read online about over-curled lashes says that the tech used the wrong size rods for my eyes, or overprocessed the solution. Park Place took zero responsibility for this. Absolutely ridiculous response, terrible treatment, even worse customer service. Now I'm out the money, and I have freakish eyelashes for the next couple of months. I'm so bummed. Don't go here! I had filler with Julianna who is very nice but looks how you don't want to look with filler and Botox etc and she made permanent ridges on my face. They asked me to go back to address it but by then I was too afraid. This is without a doubt the best medispa experience I've ever had (and I'm 44 so am not new to the game). To start with, the office is gorgeous, relaxing, and clean with care and consideration given to everything from the light fixtures to the door knobs (and not a stock poster of a wrinkle-free face in sight). The staff is genuinely friendly and generous with their time and knowledge. All the five star reviews are 100% vouched for. This place is so lovely and they do really great work. Here's a rundown of what I've received here in the past year or so: -Microneedling package (3 sessions) - The 3rd session I opted for the PRP microneedling as well as PRP injectables -Botox (1 session so far) -Fillers (1 session so far) - Includes one touch up session in two weeks that I haven't had yet Great results every time. I was nervous about the fillers and botox since I had never done it before. But Julianne's technique was so good. I literally did not bruise anywhere. Just tiny red dots where the needle was injected, and those were gone within 24 hours. Almost no heal time at all after getting injections all over my face. It was impressive! She said that has a lot to do with the person's health, i.e. how hydrated they are, etc. But still, I think technique also has something to do with it! Their prices are very competitive for LA. I've had consultations at other places in the past, and this place has been the most reasonable. And so far the quality has been stellar. There's a small parking lot that always has a couple open spots every time I go there. There's also free street parking out front. Andre and the rest of the front staff are so nice. Everyone has been so informative and kind every single time I've gone in. The place is beautiful. If you want to go over the prices, just ask during the appointment. COVID review I had a lash lift and tint by Christa. She was very fast and had a light hand, which was greatly appreciated as having your eyelashes curled isn't fun. The results have been good so far. It's always a pleasant and relaxing experience, and Julianna does a fantastic job. I've also gotten Botox here twice. If there were more stars to be given I would!! I just hit my one-year anniversary with Park Place to say I'm obsessed is an understatement. At 35 I finally realized taking care of my skin was important and checked out Park Place ( I was so happy to see there was a Med-Spa in the local Highland Park area and didn't have to make the trip to BH for quality service!!) First, let's start with Juliana the only woman in the world I would let put needles in my face. She is a medical artist and an RN, so you feel so safe the entire time. The care and time she puts into making sure botox and fillers are done correctly are astonishing. She purely advises you on what your need to make YOU happy. She is incredible at micro-needling and quick and painless glutathione administration. ( FYI if any of you are on the cusp of trying it out, it's amazing, it works, and your body will thank you.. do it!) Taylor, this woman can do facials and many kinds and types totally specific to your skin. Every facial I've had is completely different depending on my skin's needs at the time. She is so knowledgeable about everything skin-related, especially if you're struggling with your hormones. You will literally leave the room glowing.. seriously. Christa changed my eyelash and brow life. I have what I like to call "snuffolopgous" eyelashes- they go straight down and curling them never lasts for more than an hour. Her eyelash tint and perm are next level and I always get complimented on my brows. Been coming here for months now and I'm so happy I found this place! This medi-spa is beautiful both inside and out, has a warm welcoming feeling the moment you walk in, and it always smells so nice in there as well. The entire team follows all covid guidelines and makes sure their lobby is never too full to practice social distancing, they ask that you wash your hands before your appointment and that you go through a covid screening for extra safety. The fact that they follow these guidelines makes me feel much more safe going during these tough times! And not to mention, this place is always spotless!
