I grew up eating NY style pizza, so I'm not generally a fan of many of the pizza places around here. However, Park Pizza hits the spot. The crust isn't too thick or too thin. They are generous with the cheese and toppings. I like that they put the pepperoni under the cheese, that's a new one for me. I've only gotten take out, but the staff at the counter are always super friendly. Plus everything is always ready when they say it will be. The inside is clean and there are plenty of tables if you'd like to eat there instead. read more

My hubby grew up in Williamsport, so we travel back to PA when we can. There aren't many fine dining establishments in Williamsport, but their food scene has improved in the past few years. But when we are in Williamsport, there is one place that I must visit each and every time, and that is Park Pizza. Oh, my freaking cheesy goodness, this pizza is everything a pizza should be! The crust is crisp on the outside and soft enough in the middle to get that perfect fold--if that's how you like to scarf down your slice. The sauce tastes like fresh tomatoes with just enough seasonings and spices, and the toppings are all fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the restrooms are clean and orderly and the staff are all pleasant and friendly. We got a large cheese and a large meat pizza. Honestly, I don't think the cheese pizza needs anything else on it, and I'm usually a pepperoni pizza gal. When our pizzas were done, the hubs and I opened up that cheese pizza and scarfed down a slice each before we headed up to his brother's house. To be fair, my brother-in-law lives about twenty minutes away from Park Pizza, and I wanted, no, I NEEDED that slice of cheese pizza perfection to get in my belly to sustain me for the additional twenty minutes of our trip. Amazing pizza hands down! I've never found a comparing pie! First of all, when you get pizza you are agreeing to high calorie, greasy and gooey cheesy deliciousness. It's also a popular favorite in town. So after the fire, and there limited dinner time hours YES- THEY WILL BE BUSY! With this in mind my family always calls the day before so that our order is in at the time we want to pick it up. This is never a "spur of the moment" dinner decision. The price is a tad high- at $13 for a large cheese, but again with their rep they can charge that. I did dock a Star because we have had the occasional "over done" pie. Solid pizza spot. I ordered pickup, they said it would be 25 minutes. When I arrived 15 minutes later, I went in just to check, and it was already done! Pizza was a bit on the greasy side, and my wife would say mildly oversalty--I didn't think so though! It's definitely on my list to visit again if we aren't making the pizza at home! Covid note: I asked for a some napkins to go. The girl behind the register used an empty bag to grab the napkins from the outside so that she or anyone else did not come into contact with them before we could use them. This is my absolute favorite place to go to eat. I almost always get a simple cheese pizza, some hot wings, and some Hank's root beer. I would recommend avoiding eating in during dinner rush because the wait time can quickly increase. If you have a large group, they have mammoth sized pizzas or you could get one or a couple of their strombolis (which are quite large). Yes, I'll admit it. Park Pizza has very good pizza. And their new building is quite nice. However, I couldn't help but wish their service time would have improved when their building did. There isn't ANY pizza worth waiting an hour and 45 minutes for. Knowing the wait can be lengthy, one time I tried to call at 4:00 to order a pie for pickup at 5:30. They said I couldn't call that far ahead. Soooooo.....I waited until 5 to call for a 5:30 pickup and they said it would be an hour and a half. What the? And every time I've gone in there they have ONE GUY making pies. If he is that good at making pies, he should be good enough to train someone to help get the pies out quicker. And so, instead of getting my business EVERY week (we order pizza at least once a week), they get it about once a year. I have always gotten take out so I can't honestly evaluate the service time if you eat in. read more

This is hands down the worst pizza I've ever had with the worst customer service I've ever had. Got a large pepperoni pizza that barely had any cheese on it, barely any pepperoni, the pizza sauce didn't look like pizza sauce and it was caked in grease. My friend tried to get his money back and the worker there yelled at him and blamed him for the pizza being bad.. Who does that? How is it the customers fault. These people are scum bags. WOW!! I used to get Park Pizza probably a couple times a month for years but had not had it for at least the last year. Finally got one again--plain cheese. It was terribly greasy. Used 6 paper towels to try to soak up some of the grease and after 3 different tries with double layers of towels, and still getting them pretty well soaked with grease, I decided to settle with what was still on it. However, it was so terribly salty tasting I couldn't even finish 1 piece. Tried another piece a while later thinking maybe it was my taste buds at the time but, nope, still greasy and too salty tasting to eat. Not sure what happened because Park Pizza used to be the best in town but I think, after 30+ years, I've had my last. It saddens me to say it but a $5 Little Ceasars now gets a higher rating than Park. read more

I've been getting pizza from Park for years, and while I've had many other great pizzas, I don't think anything has been better then the extra cheese pizza from Park. They have a relatively thin crust which is great for folding it while eating. The sauce is very tasty, and the cheese is always a mass of melted perfection. It can at times be a bit greasy, so it may not be something you to want to eat every night. I usually add a bit of garlic powder to the pizza. I love the plain cheese pizza so much, that I haven't really tried too much else on the menu, but I'm sure everything's good. read more

I love thin crisp crusted greasy pizza but it is harder to find than you would think. The park pizza i have had in the past has been ok, nothing to complain about but not rave worthy either. Tonights pizza was so greasy it was soggy. not impressed at all, and they were slow so no excuses. Tonights pizza was incredibly salty, sea water salty, make you think twice salty. Salt should be used to enhance flavors not be the flavor, your not trying to preserve it for prosperities sake. The prices are fair, staff are not friendly. I have always loved this place. I used to get their pizza at the carnivals every summer. Definitely something to look forward to. It has a great crust and flavor. I haven't been in the restaurant to eat because it's always really packed and parking can be an issue. I wish they were in a nicer neighborhood but they make up for it with their food. read more
