I came to this place expecting to find a professional tailor to alter a gown I bought for a…read morewedding. Unfortunately, I regret choosing this business and ignoring the red flags from the very beginning. From my first visit, the tailor was rude. She told me I needed to bring the shoes I would wear with the dress, so I returned the next day after work with my shoes. Even then, her attitude was unpleasant. She gave abrupt instructions like "put your things here," "don't close the curtain," and "leave the dress over there," which made me feel like she was annoyed and did not want to do the job. Because the wedding was only one week away, I left the dress. When I called a week later to pick it up, I told her I would be there by 5:30. She said she was closing early -- even though their normal closing time is 6:00 PM -- so my husband went instead. He immediately noticed the dress was still very long -- it was dragging on the floor. I had no choice but to fold it at the waist to make it wearable, which was far from ideal. I called her and explained the issue, but she was extremely rude on the phone. I brought the dress back and told her she could take her time fixing it. When I received it again, the back was much shorter than the front, and the stitching was terrible and uneven. What is strange is that the first time, the work itself was fine, which is why I am writing this review. It seems she did not like that I brought the dress back, because instead of properly fixing it, she ruined it -- and I still paid $50. Based on how I was treated from day one. I felt absolutely unwelcome. I will never return and do not recommend this tailor. If you notice any red flags, save yourself the unpleasant experience and go elsewhere.

This was off just having a terrible experience with some shirts getting butchered by the local dry cleaner, so I wanted a more professional take. I walked in completely clueless on a whim, tactlessly not making an appointment, and even though it was Juan's lunchbreak he still immediately took the time to see me and work with me. That said... let the man eat. Don't interrupt his break! I still feel bad about it!!! About the tailoring: Juan is just That Dude. He WILL make you look better and point out ways to make the clothes better compliment your body that others don't even know about. The pricing felt extremely fair and not at all like I was being overcharged for the amount and quality of work being done. Not only that, Juan did me a solid by getting the alterations done in-time with a big move out of state. Last minute, off of a random walk-in, and brother still treated me like I was a long time regular. And matter of fact, even though I'm going to be living down south I WILL still be getting my nicest clothing tailored by Juan. That's what his work is worth to me. 10/10 will be making sure I get my nephews' first suits tailored by him too

Head tailor Juan Cuello is exceptionally skilled and relentlessly professional--he simply won't stop until the fit is perfect. Over the past six years, I've brought him around a dozen off-the-rack suits, and he has consistently transformed them to look and feel like high-end made-to-measure pieces. The difference in drape, balance, and overall silhouette is remarkable. I've used other tailors for alterations, but none come close to Juan's level of precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. He takes real pride in his work, and it shows in every finished garment. Juan is truly one of a kind.
