They have 2 6-load washers and that's for a decent price. Drying is a quarter for every eight minutes, which is standard in laundromats. They are next door to a dry-cleaning service, which is a plus. They do not really sell any laundry related items (bleach, detergent, softener, etc.) but CVS is right next door! This is also in a plaza next to a bagel place, a clothing store, and a hair salon so if you're looking to drop off clothes to get other things done, then there is your convenience. The lady that runs it in the morning is very nice - she taught me how to fold my shirts faster! Alright, so depending on how much you are washing, you could be saving a bit of change here but for the convenience next to other places on the road, the fact that there is a bathroom, a TV and some seating and the room this laundromat has to fold clothes, as well as the lady who runs the joint, I would recommend this to anyone that lives nearby - Elmwood Park, Saddle Brook and even Garfield residents are all welcome!

Opened 5 years ago, Sonic Suds has been operating on a card system utilizing Cash, EBT, Credit, Debit, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Gone are those days where washers or dryers accepted quarters. Upon arrival, the interior is spacious with 48 washers varying between small to large and 50 dryers between regular to oversized. Greeted by Amy who was friendly and very helpful especially explaining the card system and usage of the washer and dryer. Overall, cool bright design and layout, plenty of room, wide aisles, tons of folding tables and free wifi. Machine cleaned well and prices reasonable. I would recommend this place.

Small machines are $3.69 and the largest machine is $7.19. Dryers are $.49 for 10 minutes. I haven't washed clothes in laundromat in years so I don't know what's costly or not. Anyway, as far as Laundry Wave goes, I'm giving it 5 stars because I can't give 4.5 but I decided to round up anyway. I've been to some pretty expensive laundromats (to me anything over 50 cents for less than 12 minutes or dryer time is expensive since I end up washing clothes WEEKS, closer to MONTHS apart from each other. ) To start, The prices are very fair. It's 2.00 for a small load of laundry; that being said, the biggest machine was like $4, and I'm pretty sure I used the $5 machine but it was HUGE and fit ALL of my comforters and towels together. (Fitted sheet, blanket, comforter, 2 throws, my husband's bath robe, a BUNCH of towels, my couch pet cover,) and pillowcases as well as a few other things. The machines run for a good amount of time and clean very well. Other machines are like $3, 3.50, and maybe 2.50 so they get slighter more expensive as they get bigger. There are a TON of washers so I got my clothes done very quickly since I didn't have to wait for anything. The dryers are 25 cents for 8 minutes, which is pretty standard. I'm comfortable paying this amount. The bathrooms are very clean compared to most laundromats (I've seen some horror stories). It was stocked on toilet paper and hand soap and didn't smell like pee (which is important). Also, the TV's were working too. Most, if not all of the machines were running smoothly, except for one pesky dryer machine that refused to take my quarter. Besides that, I had no issues with the machines. Another con is that there's no formal vending machine; there's a little stand with chips and maybe detergent (I brought my own so Idk). I'd prefer a vending machine with cold drinks especially considering people typically spend lots of time in a laundromat but it's no big deal. The attendants are absent for the most part and kind of keep to themselves but if you approach them they're nice and helpful so that's good, and like I said there are a ton of machines so you're bound to leave in a relatively short amount of time unless you come during rush hour. Oh and there's lots of parking out front. I didn't see TOO many carts for a laundromat that big buuuuttttt I didn't have any issues. Anyway I definitely enjoyed this experience, and I hope this review was helpful. I will definitely start coming here from now on! This place made a horrible task that I always put off for as long as possible a little less terrible lol.

I used to be able to dry a small to medium load of clothes within 32 minutes. Now it takes up to 48 minutes. When I brought it up to the attendant, he nonchalantly just blew me off and said for me to visually check the filter before I dry, and that the lower row of dryers are the least used and therefore dry better. This is unacceptable! Occasionally when he washes and dries his own clothes, he is absolutely SURE to co clean the filter every time. When I suggested they clean the filters for all the machines at least twice a day, he remarked they only clean the filters at the end of the day when the laundromat is closing. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
