Try the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake! It's absolutely perfect! The smallest size is more than enough for six people.

I love their brisket - always flavorful and juicy, never dried out! Clayton (10 months): BUH! BUH! BUH! BUH! BUH! (This roughly translates to "This was my first time trying brisket and it was life changing. I also loved the mashed potatoes and live music!") John: I will say millennial-core establishment featuring really good BBQ. I would like a to-go order of all of their pickles for my house, and the sausage was delicious!

Could enjoy but still have a conversation with my date. * The brisket nachos, every time are. A winner. Solid chips that can hold the weight of brisket, queso and all the good stuff. * The bartender making the cocktails had a vibe that he loved what he was doing, very refreshing. * All the staff were friendly. * Smoked chicken was flavorful and moist . *I realize pickles don't go on nachos but I love their pickles What could of been better: * Git the Texas Twinkies, stuffed jalapeños wrapped in a brown sugar bourbon bacon. They were good, unfortunately they were really overcooked. Liked them, just didn't love them. *The Mac n Cheese was ok, little pasty. I am a bit of a mac n cheese snob. Was ok but not great. Overall a fantastic date night. Will be back. I so want to give them 5 stars, we are at 4.5 but so close

People of Flint, you have 2 exports to be proud of; Michael Moore and Koegel Hot Dogs…read more Now how in the heck can I review Koegel Hot Dogs if I am in Pennsylvania? An explanation is needed. Here in Pittsburgh, we have an old church-turned-bar/concert venue called Altar that is located in the Strip District section of the city. Altar does not serve food, but out front during an event, you'll often find a hot dog cart operated by a guy/gal tandem. Sometime last year, I went to Altar for the first time, and needing to stave off hunger pangs, decided to get a frank or 2 before entering Altar. In doing so, I tasted the most daringly different damn dog ever. After chatting with the vendor, I found out where they originated from and located a website later that evening at home. Here I was thinking at first that perhaps the vendors made the dogs themselves or got them from a local butcher. That's how perfect they are. "Serve the curve" for darn sure. Hell, they're way ahead of it. Tie me up with a rope made of these linked franks anyday so I can eat my way out of my bonds like an escape artist/competitive eater hybrid. Then repeat.

My new favorite Chinese restaurant…read more I can't believe I never stopped in here until this summer. Obviously, I've been missing out on some of the best Chinese food in the area until a few months ago and I have no idea why. Seriously, I've driven past this location a hundred times before and never once noticed what is arguably the best Chinese restaurant in town until recently. Boy, was I missing out! It is located in a relatively nondescript-looking strip mall, which I guess is why I simply never noticed it before. Stupid me for not knowing about this place before now. The egg drop soup was outstanding, possibly the best of its type that I've had anywhere. The texture, flavor and seasoning were all perfect, the way everything should be. Service was fantastic. The girl that waited on us was also the seating hostess. She seemed to know the menu backward and forward, much like the back of her hand. She knew what she was talking about, including potential accommodations to specific dishes, how everything was cooked, etc. She was a real help navigating the menu for both my husband and myself. On the menu, I noticed that they had more than a few vegetarian options from which to choose, so I was pleased. I ordered the stir fried assorted vegetables. It was delicious, well-seasoned with fresh veggies and some of the best rice I've ever had in a Chinese restaurant. My dish was not too salty, nor under seasoned and the rice wasn't super greasy and my vegetables were sauteed perfectly, not swathed in oil or bland. I appreciated the variety of vegetables in my dish, the seasoning and the texture of the rice. They don't serve spring rolls here (bummer), the vegetarian alternative to egg rolls, which contain shrimp, so our waitress charged only for the luncheon size, even though it was well past lunch (it was after 6 p.m.) and the order was the same size as the dinner portion, just sans the egg roll. I appreciated that. It was super cheap, too, but then again, both the lunch and dinner menu options are both really affordable here. I wish they served spring rolls, but that isn't a deal breaker or anything like that. My husband loved his dish. He ordered the Orange Chicken. He kept raving about great the rice and chicken were, how fresh it was and how the seasoning was "on the money." He especially loved the wonton soup. He said it was the best he's had in ages, too. Both of us enjoyed the hot tea as well (so good). The portions of both dishes were healthy-sized and affordably priced, not to mention were the best tasting Chinese food we've had in awhile. It was easily one of the restaurant experiences we've had this summer. Next time, I'll probably try the vegetarian Egg Foo Young. It sounded great and the waitress talked it up, saying it was one of her favorite dishes. For Cantonese, I'd say it's a slam dunk. I'll be coming here from now on. It's easy to see now why this restaurant has such high ratings.

But the big thing is that this place needs a thorough cleaning, new carpeting, and get rid of the junk that's everywhere. And for goodness sake, get rid of that ridiculously big plant that crawls along the ceiling. I would not eat inside this restaurant.
