I found that on Saturdays you get $1.25 off of pints. Of course that means I need three then. I got black cherry, blueberry cheesecake and butter pecan. We all did a taste test when I got home and black cherry was the winner. Did you know you can buy a whole container of you want? You can! Just talk to the owner. All together I got out of there for $15. Not bad! Plus it was delicious. Staff was so friendly. It was a fun atmosphere. Check them out. You won't regret it. I mean... Unless you gain 10 lbs!

Kearsley Kone is a great local spot when you're craving ice cream. They have a huge variety of…read moreflavors, so there's something for everyone, and I love that they even offer pup cups for just $1 so your four-legged friends can enjoy a treat too. This is a walk-up window rather than a sit-down shop, but the menu is posted outside and easy to read while you're deciding. There's plenty of parking, and they have lots of picnic tables with umbrellas as well as shaded seating in the grass, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy your treats. We tried several of their ice cream cakes and were impressed by both the portions and the value. The strawberry crunch cake was delicious, and we sampled two different versions: one with vanilla cake and another with chocolate cake layered inside. We also tried the Oreo ice cream cake and a chocolate chip cookie ice cream cake with chocolate ice cream in the center. Everything was rich, creamy, and perfect for sharing. The cake slices are huge too. At around $8 a slice, one piece could easily feed two or three people. While Kearsley Kone isn't surrounded by a lot of other businesses, it is conveniently located near a pizza place and a taco spot if you're making a meal out of your visit. Between the generous portions, reasonable prices, outdoor seating, and endless sweet treats, it's a fun place to stop on a warm Michigan day.
