I spent the following week making toast just to put the marmalade on it. I returned to Eastern Market to buy another jar and this time added a jar of Chai peanut butter. This is a Michigan based company and woman owned business that makes delicious products. I will support their growth by being a customer. Some people may consider $7 too expensive for jams, marmalades or peanut butter, but I don't because you get the quality that you pay for.

It was like eating cardboard! smelled of old oil (maybe it's olive oil smell and I'm not used to that?) when I just opened the bag, there was no "Spices" taste (listed in ingredients), the oats, that were clearly covered in something, had NO flavor, there is NO sweet/salt balance (actually no sweet at all...but product would be good for diabetics needing to watch carbs), dried raisins are hard (as they should be?) and tasted of "oil" (the "old oil" smell from opening the bag). I'm going to return granola to store. It's quite expensive for this quality!

This small health store is a nice little gem to have on this side of town. I usually stop in here…read moreat least once when I'm in the area to see what's new or to look for specific items. It has a reasonable variety of items including supplements, vitamins, grocery, food or snack items and body care items. The prices are understandable high for things. Usually whomever is working the cash register greets customers upon entrance and are generally knowledgeable enough about products and their stock to be genuinely helpful. Overall, I like the store and hope that they have the support necessary to remain around for years to come.

Peanut butter cups are $2 each, but really good, savory and sweet at the same time and they're good sized, too. Reese's peanut butter cups, they are not. Chocolate-dipped pretzel rods and the dark chocolates are melt in your mouth good. Great selection of chocolates, enough to satisfy anyone' sweet tooth. I call it gourmet chocolate, not the variety you find in the candy aisle at Meijer. Just call it an indulgence because it isn't something you buy everyday. Some might wonder why anyone would pay $2 for a peanut butter cup and they would be right to think it's silly and maybe even frivolous, but it's a treat and not an everyday thing. If it was, then that probably be different story. And their chocolates are better than the store bought variety. They have a stand at the Flint Farmer's Market in downtown Flint.

Kearsley Kone is a great local spot when you're craving ice cream. They have a huge variety of…read moreflavors, so there's something for everyone, and I love that they even offer pup cups for just $1 so your four-legged friends can enjoy a treat too. This is a walk-up window rather than a sit-down shop, but the menu is posted outside and easy to read while you're deciding. There's plenty of parking, and they have lots of picnic tables with umbrellas as well as shaded seating in the grass, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy your treats. We tried several of their ice cream cakes and were impressed by both the portions and the value. The strawberry crunch cake was delicious, and we sampled two different versions: one with vanilla cake and another with chocolate cake layered inside. We also tried the Oreo ice cream cake and a chocolate chip cookie ice cream cake with chocolate ice cream in the center. Everything was rich, creamy, and perfect for sharing. The cake slices are huge too. At around $8 a slice, one piece could easily feed two or three people. While Kearsley Kone isn't surrounded by a lot of other businesses, it is conveniently located near a pizza place and a taco spot if you're making a meal out of your visit. Between the generous portions, reasonable prices, outdoor seating, and endless sweet treats, it's a fun place to stop on a warm Michigan day.

It was mostly a liquid consistency with no thick smoothie body to it, and tasted mostly of milk with a slight hint of peanut butter. Not only that, but I also received a short pour as the smoothie was at least two inches from top of the cup. Very disappointing since my order before this, a Daily Warrior, was made with similar recipe inconsistencies. Since this was the second time, I felt compelled to write a review and hope management can make the necessary improvements. I love Smoothie King smoothies, but incorrectly making two orders in a row (two different weeks in May) to the point where I couldn't even finish them is very disappointing - especially when you factor in how much these smoothies cost after enhancers. I will be reluctant to try this location again.

The 3rd locked up as well last night and I'd only had it 2 weeks, when they usually last a month and I keep it closed after grilling. When I took it back and voiced my concerns, I left crying by the owner, who laughed at me for being so upset . I just wanted him to make it right! He accused me of not bringing it back as soon as I had a problem (last night, not 2 weeks ago) and why didn't I bring it back last night?
