I have lived in flint, My entire life 53 years, and the place to go when i was a kid was Angelo's coney island, it was on the corner of Leith and Franklin and then moved down to Davison Rd and Franklin, but even if i wasn't going to Angelo's to eat, we were cooking Kogel's at home, i miss that they did get rid of their Ham ( lunch meat), but i have brother's that have moved down south and when we visit we always bring Kogel's, and used to get the coney sauce from Angelo's also, but it has been sold and the new owners can't compare to the old Angelo's even though the name is the same, i've done the sandwich spread, coney's, ham rolls and make a dish with diced potato's, onion and ring bologna, which to this day is still one of my favorite meals, and even if i move out of flint it is nice to know that i can order Kogel's and still have some of the best meat Flint has to offer.
