Getting back into my thrifting and saw some videos online about Park Ave Thrift, so I figured I'd head on out there. The plaza was booming with business and smelled so good. I need to go back one day just to see what else is happening over there. I visited on a Saturday and there were a number of other shoppers in the building. Speaking of the building, this place is bigger than what I expected. There was row after row of thrifted items. Rows weren't really labeled well, but it was obvious what each section was. What wasn't obvious? The prices on some of those tags! I could barely read some numbers but I just went with it, lol. Beyond that, there was great variety in here! Customer service was pretty non-existent when I was there, but I managed, lol. I ventured in with the hopes of finding some special pieces for my son as a toddler and I did. I came across an adorable houndstooth Mickey Mouse blazer - love! Among a few other items for him, I also grabbed a little Polo and sparkly dress for my niece and a gorgeous cocktail dress for myself. I walked out paying $25! Before I left I signed up for their rewards program and as someone who is getting back into thrifting, I'm hyped to visit them again to see what I can find. read more

If you aren't Hispanic don't expect to get anything good. The workers save things for themselves and if it makes it to the floor it's overpriced. Used sneakers for $70 and fake designer for $60-$100. It's a joke. They are extremely racist and get attitudes. There is also no pricing strategy. Just whatever they feel that day. But if their friends want something the price is magically lower. The cashier even changes prices at the register if she feels it's not enough. I'm not sure how the owners have brainwashed the employees into being so crude and money hungry. read more

My aunt bought me a crib there and workers told her she could pick up following morning before 10. She went early and found out the manager sold it to her friend even after it was already purchased and had a paper with sold on it. Manager told her she can't wait for the next day to pick it up because it's their policy. she asked for my money back and she said she can't refund me and proceeded to give her store credit, WITH A DATE ON IT. Store management needs to improve because this can't happen again or to anyone else. read more

This location of Park Ave Thrift is located on South Cobb Drive just north of the Windy Hill intersection and shares an older worn shopping plaza with a few other shops and restaurants including Jefe's and a Supermercado. PAT is a chain of thrift stores that are located all over the metro area and while I have seen them, I have yet to swing by until today. My aunt was on the hunt for some work pants and she had no luck at the nearby Goodwill, so we stopped by here and sadly left empty handed. This place is massive and 98% of their inventory is clothes, with 70% of being women's clothing. Maybe it was because we were newbies to the store, but outside of color and variety, we were unable to tell if things were racked by size or not as it was a hodgepodge as we navigated through size 2, 8 and 22 all within inches of each other. We will say that majority of the clothing looked to be in good condition. However, this cannot be said for the items that lines the walls of the store such as the housewares, toys, electronics, artwork, etc...all of these items were well past their prime and could be tossed without being missed at any time. For what limited interaction we had with the staff, the gentleman, who was the only one working, was kind when he greeted us upon entry. Overall, this location of Park Avenue Thrift is certainly a resource for the community when it comes to clothing. With that large inventory, I can see why they are frequented by many. read more

My daughter, grandson and I were at this store on 4/2/2025. My daughter was checking out, the Hispanic cashier told my daughter she couldn't sell her the pants due to the tag being changed, the other young lady that was standing next to the cashier advised her that the tag had not been change and she could sell them to my daughter. This is not the first time the lady has done this to shoppers, she has a BIG PROBLEM WITH BLACK PEOPLE, someone needs to have a serious talk with this lady. I will not be returning to this store, I can spend my money elsewhere. read more

Ivonne at the Fayetteville location was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I frequently shop at this location and never had any issues with any employees until my encounter with the named service rep. she has No customer service etiquette and needs proper training on how to communicate with the general public. read more

I shop the Marietta location on a regular Basi. I few time Ive gotten to the register and they decide the price of my items aren't correct so the up the price on the tags at the register saying the tags were incorrect. This has happened to me several times and I'm feeling discriminated against. I will no longer donate to Hope House or Nspire as this is where donations are given to Park Avenue Thrift. This is embarrassing and ruined my day. Beware of this location!!!! read more

This Park Avenue Thrift is hit or miss...sometimes I make out like a bandit and other times I leave empty handed. They do have pretty nice clothing from places like Banana Republic and J Crew that are pretty new... I haven't found much mid century stuff here except for a 1970's hand knitted Earth tone King size afghan for about $6. They also seem to have tons of alarm clocks here for some reason...I would love to find a vintage Panasonic one that was used in the movie Groundhog's Day...you can get them on ebay for $30 but I don't want one that badly... I went to this location to thrift which is what I do all the time because Thrifting is my happy place. The manager there is someone I see all the time I'm in there but didn't know she was the manager until today. I've seen her have altercations with at least two customers before and both were AA. My encounter today was her not trying to sell me a pair of jeans because she said the way it was stapled. I gathered that she assumed the tag was changed and reapplied. Now if she would have used her head there was no way a staple could securely go back into a pair of jeans without a staple gun. She then tried to assume the same thing with a silk skirt I purchased. After letting her know that she was absolutely wrong about both items she sold me the skirt but the pants price was changed. She then didn't staple my blue discount receipt on my regular receipt until I asked. This is something as a manager she should know. She is very rude. She projects a racist attitude towards AA as if she's not a minority, Hispanic and who knows maybe illegal but I don't care. No one including her wants to be discriminated against. If she's the manager she should know better. My attitude was great, money is never an issue and I would not ever change a tag. The clothes are already cheaply priced. With the worlds climate today we all need to be working together and not against one another. I will continue to go to all locations because I like the store. Prepare for the fight of your life! You won't have to fight with other thrifters, but the employees. The employees act as if every item is a family heirloom and will not sell you items. It's very weird and the place is toxic The employees are rude! Iris especially! She makes it her business to make shopping here a nightmare. She will try to act like she doesn't understand English and talk about you in Spanish. Luckily, I know enough Spanish to know she was talking about me in my face. Lol. She is racist and will not sell you items if she doesn't feel like it, but will do it for someone the same race as her. Will i continue to shop here? Yes. They mark up random stuff for like $25 and it is ridiculous . The point of a thrift store is to be cheaper so less fortunate people can buy nice things, so why mark it up so less fortunate people can't even afford it at a thrift store?? It is so fucked up. No, no, no. Turn back before it's too late. I walked in and was immediately greeted by stale, humid air. The a/c clearly does not work in this place, and items are disorganized in almost every section. The clothes did appear to be decently color coded, but it was too warm and uncomfortable in this place for me to really look through anything. Will not return. read more

Park Ave Thrift is one of your more affordable thrift shops in the Atlanta are. They have multiple locations. I usually go to the Lawrenceville location, but I was shopping along the I-75 corridor, so I decided to stop in. Par for the course with most Park Ave Thrifts- you will find items in various levels of wear, items are not organized by size, prices vary by the item (not every shirt is the same price, for example). There are also home goods, including furniture, electronics, toys, etc. I tried on a couple things that unfortunately didn't fit. I put back some shoes I was considering due to some cosmetic issues that would be a problem for work wear. So I left with nothing. But 3 stars for the good pricing. read more

First of all let me say I have been going to this place for a long time, it has completely went downhill they take their time out now, in the mornings to arrange everything on the floor of the color that's excluded for the 50% off and make everything that color that day except for five items to make money, the prices have went up tremendously you're better off just going to either Goodwill or any of your local consignments shops also they have tried this method in the past and have failed with it , people need to stop going till they stop taking advantage of people it's horrible it's sickening, you be better off at your local Walmart on the clearance aisle and getting a cheaper product this is horrible service I hope they change their ways I hope this Reach people read more

Just like any Thrift Store it is a hit or miss. They do have some good deals on some days and they try to keep things organized but customers do mess up the store. I have 2 complaints - Their bathrooms are dirty. Way below standard. Be sure to use the restroom somewhere else before you spend time in the store. The second complaint I have is with the Cashier named Ms.Wilson. She will not ring up your merchandise correctly just so she can take a small percentage for herself. She will over ring your items. Be careful when you check out of this Thrift store and check your receipt. I don't normally go on blast but there are so many ways people can stick you up even if it is for $ five dollars.This is not the first time she tried it with me. When you think you can't be a target that is when someone will get you, no matter how small it is. read more
