I had the "Hot Mama" and it was by far the most awesome smoothie I'd ever had. Not only did it have enough "heat," I felt amazing after having it. I will definitely make sure anytime I come to Rochester, I'll be making a stop at JJ4L. At the time, I purchased several juices to take home. Anti-inflammatory, Blue Dream, and Dragon's Breath. They were all fantastic! The staff were very friendly and explained multiple options based on my preferences. The store was clean, bright, and inviting.

It seems like there's only one person making the smoothies while others are in the back prepping produce. Last time I came in, there were five people ahead of me, one person doing everything, and I ended up leaving. Today was better someone rang me up, and there were only a couple people ahead of me, so it moved faster this was a plus! Honestly, it feels a little hit or miss these days. I totally understand food costs, rent, staffing, all of that can be tough to balance. Just know that while the smoothies are great, you might be in for a bit of a wait. That's all I've got! The shop itself is charming, and the outdoor seating is even better -- picnic tables, comfy chairs, and a glowing fire pit that makes the whole space feel cozy and inviting, especially on a summer evening. Inside, they offer some truly amazing treats. The flavors are bright, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical ice cream shop. Staff were friendly on both of our visits and helped guide us through the options. We haven't yet been able to try their signature rolled ice cream -- once due to an anti‑griddle issue, and once because they were out of a specific cream needed -- but fear not, there were plenty of other excellent choices. Some in our group went with classic scoops, but we opted for the Ice Cream Nachos, which turned out to be outstanding. You choose your scoops, and they're served over delicate, crisp pizzelles and drizzled with sauces. We picked Cinnamon Roll and Banana Cream Pie scoops, both bursting with flavor and leaving us simply smiling. The finishing drizzle of pancake syrup tied everything together beautifully. Service was extremely friendly and prompt, and the outdoor seating made the experience feel relaxed and fun. This review reflects two separate visits, both of which were excellent. Frost & Foundry has quickly become our new favorite ice cream shop, and we'll definitely keep coming back -- hopefully soon enough to finally try that elusive rolled ice cream too.

What a fantastic find!…read more Cutest little corner shop in a great lil neighborhood. Sweet decor, fabulous customer service. The owner scooped up our treats himself and was so friendly and chatty. We had a big group- we have seven kids- but he was quick and efficient. The real star, though, was the ice cream. Everyone was thrilled with their choices and practically licked the dish. I had the peanut butter chip yogurt and it was divine.

I receive a bun with melted cheese and a single slice of turkey meat. When I asked the manager why the sandwich was so poorly made she stated that they had not received an order and were using locally purchased meat to fill the orders?? Parking is shared with DiBella's Subs and I haven't had an issue finding a spot the two times I've been here. Smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, and pizza on the menu, but not a ton of variety for vegetarian/vegan folks. I tried the hummus veggie wrap (the only meatless food option besides the kids menu) which was decent tasting but poorly constructed. It has hummus, avocado, pepper jack, romaine, rice, black beans, pickled onions, tomatoes, and ranch dressing. Unfortunately there was so much ranch on my wrap, the tortilla essentially liquified and fell apart - it was gross and hard to eat. If you order this, maybe get the dressing on the side? The side of jalapeño corn was tasty and I'm glad I paid the extra 99 cents to upgrade my side. My triple berry oat smoothie was delicious and nicely sized. I got my husband a banana strawberry smoothie, which he enjoyed. I will probably steer clear of food unless they change their menu and add more veggie options, but would return for smoothies.
