The owners, Jeff and Monica Aston are natives to the Setauket area and are a pleasure to deal with. I have been shopping there for several years and I feel that they really keep in tune with the changing needs of the community. Their inventory reflects the quaint, beachy vibe of our beautiful hamlet on the North Shore of Long Island. I purchased everything from beautiful window candles which are on year-round in my house, to soothing chimes. Back in the 90's I purchased several leather items from this store, the salespeople were top notch and had a great relationship with all of them. As a matter of fact a couple of is became so acquainted that we met socially. I stopped shopping there when one day the owner showed up and I happened to be picking up an item I had in reserve. The owner was not only rude to me but also made unprovoked derogatory comments to me and another customer. The salespeople often complained about the owner's behavior but I chalked it up to typical employee employer banter. No they were right. I have no idea how this individual owns a store. He is reprehensible, trust me go elsewhere.
