What a disrespect for customers!I ordered my meal online at 5.30 for delivery slot of 7.00-7.30.
I selected to pay by card upon delivery (an option on the website). I filled in all my information (including my phone number). I received twice a confirmation email of my order.
At 7.30, not having any info on my delivery, I called them up. I was told they called me (which never happened, he maintained it was my fault!) because they only want cash (..). I told them (again) I never received their phone call and I was ok to pay cash (24€ dish!).
I was told that I could either wait another 40min Or come and pick it up myself! I told them that I never received a call and that they never even sent an email to cancel or ask questions and this was in no way my mistake.
No solution or commercial gesture was proposed (actually one of the only restaurants that do not offer a discount on delivery / take away in town.. below 50€!!), no excuse, just pointing out it was my fault and insisting on having cash... in these hard covid times I will definitely support places that deserve it and treat their customers with respect. read more
