I understand you might be a small and busy eatery but your customer service is beyond appalling. Was it because you didn't want to serve Indian patrons? I tried to eat there 2 nights in a row. During the first night when the restaurant was full, you rudely told me not to queue up. There was just one party ahead of us in queue (1.5 hours were still remaining for the restaurant to close). I assumed maybe it was just because it was too crowded. On the second night, I called you up twice. Both times you pretended not to be able to understand me. I asked you for a table. Your exact words were: "I don't have time to talk to you" Maybe your food is great (I never got to taste it) but your hospitality is the worst. read more

I have a quick evening in the area and on a Sunday there aren't a lot of options. However, this restaurant was a pleasant surprise! The decor is super simple, so don't expect anything fancy, but the food totally makes up for it. I read some reviews that raved that the vindaloo was super spicy. I love love love spicy food and was up for the challenge. Well, it was absolutely amazing with the perfect heat. Now, I eat a lot of spicy food, so this might not be for the faint of heart, but it was just what I needed after a week sans spice. The garlic nan was super delicious as well. Beware that no vampires will get near you for days after eating it, but well worth the deliciousness. If I lived in Brussels this place would definitely we a regular stop for me. read more

The food is excellent. I ordered lamb vindaloo and it was extremely spicy! I've eaten this dish all over Europe and this is one of the spiciest I have ever had (I asked for extra spicy). The vindaloo here is in tough competition with a restaurant in London. The cheese naan was delicious and they have a solid beer selection. They had the best veggie samosas I have ever had! They are small but pack a punch! Additionally the staff was very friendly and responsive. The restaurant is not big and fancy - it is pretty bare bones. That is the reason I give it four out of five. It looks like a hole in the wall but it is a diamond in the rough. I like that it is off the beaten path. Looking at the place you might think it is dirty or unkept but the bathrooms were very clean and so was the dining room. I was very impressed. This is a neighborhood restaurant like we really look for when traveling in Europe. Tandoori appetizer for two was fantastic with good spice. My mango vegetables was wonderful. Imagine a take away restaurant taking the menu leaflet from your hand when you are leaving the restaurant. I supported this local establishment for years both seated and take away. I recommended to others. Today I kindly asked to buy some naan breads since we cooked Indian at home. The owner and cook said there is no naan. I checked the menu, there is and I can understand they want to offer this to people who buy main dishes. Then the owner say 15 eur and you get complete package. I once again explained that we cooked our Indian at home this time but was missing naans. When I was leaving with the take away leaflet the owner said you do not need this and took it from my hands. If I go online I am able to order dals or naans so no need to order main dishes. All this is treating a royal customer very bad. I recommend you to support local establishments that have empathy and sympathy to its clients. Never ever again here. Zero stars. read more

Zero star would be much more appropriate for this place. This was by far THE worst food and service I received in my 46 years and traveling to 58 countries. This was more like a food from Bangladesh than India. It took more than 30 min just to place an order, everything we asked for or wanted they did not have and could not provide any explanation of other menu items. You can count on hearing loud men talking in Bangladeshi and be part of your meal. It took them more than 50 minutes to bring our food and that was the best part of the Experience. How could an Indian restaurant not have any green chutney? Have they been to India or at least try to learn about Indian food? Please save your self the time and money and try other establishments in the city. If you must eat here, order ahead of time and take it to go. Don't complain that you were not warned! read more

I really loved the food! And will go back for sure! To be honest I found the restaurant on Yelp looking for restaurants in the area of the city where I was at the moment. The place is far from looking nice and fancy but the food is great and for me this is the most important detail. Give it a try and if you like Indian food you will love this place! read more
