It was so damn good. The lamb in the curries were falling apart. The Briyani was very flavorful. The naan was chonky and full of garlic chunks, and topped with coriander and butter. We knew ahead of time that the buffet was pricey, at 40 euros per person, not including any drinks, not even water. I looked at the menu, and that was also rather pricey at about 20-25 euros per main course. I'm glad I did the buffet, because now I can say without a doubt that it is not worth going back to this restaurant. My usual buffet strategy is to take a tiny sample of everything on my first plate, that way I know what to go back and have a larger portion of for my second plate. Nothing on the buffet was worth more than one bite, and I probably tried at least ten different items. Nothing was disgusting, but nothing was particularly good, and all the meats and fish tasted very overcooked. The food was all pretty bland, and nothing was even remotely spicy, nor did they offer and spicy condiments. The desserts were the same story; there was a large selection, but nothing was very good, aside from the freshly sliced mango. On the plus side, the servers were very good and super nice, and the restaurant was decorated beautifully. Unfortunately, they failed on the food, where it really counts. I definitely won't be back.
