In the early morning hours and sometimes even during the day - the surrounding hills cover with fog and you feel like you're standing on an island in the middle of the ocean. It's utterly breathtaking. (I highly recommend staying in the upstairs bedroom! Super comfy beds, an awesome bathroom/shower, and a perfect view of the rolling hills!) A large group of wedding vendors and I photographed a styled wedding on the property and we couldn't have been happier with the end result. There are acres and acres of beautiful trails to walk, a large pond full of fish, an awesome bonfire and outdoor bar, as well as a beautiful barn on the land. The space is utterly perfect for country or outdoor weddings! I cannot wait to visit again - both for professional reasons and for personal! At Laube, they allow you decorate on Friday and then come back on Saturday if you aren't finished. NEVER has anyone told me this happens at any other banquet facility. Course…read morewas in horrible condition minus the greens, the trees are overgrown on to the fairways to where you couldn't hit the ball at a normal height on about half of any given hole, the grass needed cut, the dining areas have not been updated since the 1990s, and the staff was pretentious. The golf carts were outdated and poorly maintained. During the banquet reception, the speakers' microphones kept going in and out. Nobody cared to step up and replace them. I was embarrassed for the club. It was sloppy. I would have been extremely mad had I paid to play that course. Luckily I didn't have to pay because it was a company sponsored event. Right now, I'd question playing this course again even if I got to play for free. I think I'll just stick with playing at my club and save the drive. The place needs new ownership and management. They just need to start from scratch.

Omg, take me back to the days of dreaming of having a tea party like this! My inner child is jumping up and down! This venue is small, but the perfect size for a more intimate gathering, my party was 22 people and we fit just fine. The waitress was adept at explaining the tea flavors and describing what was on the serving trays as they were set down, and the owner, Sherry, was a joy to work with. Her friendly and professional demeanor helped assuage the stress of throwing an event, and her contracts were well drafted and easily understood.
