My wife and I have rented with Parc Huron since January of 2024. I felt it was time to update our review now that we've been here for awhile. First the positives. In general, the building staff have been very kind and that has probably been the best part of this building. Maintenance when we have needed them have been prompt and fantastic at solving our problems (within our unit, specifically). The views of the city from the units are epic and the resident events they have planned (Sidesgiving, Christmas party with a band, etc.) have been fun. They also put out an incredible "gift wrapping station" in the common area during the holidays that was helpful. The door staff are also kind and welcoming. Now for the negatives (and why I have changed my rating down to two stars). The elevators are the worst part of this building. There are 2 for all 21 floors, and when maintenance takes one out for service (or for a move in/out - which they try to do on weekdays), it can take 15+ minutes to get up and down from your apartment. This is something they will never be able to fix (as they can't add elevators to an existing building). I have asked the leasing office multiple times to please send notifications when the elevator will be locked out and they have not honored my request(s). The building provided AT&T fiber TV and internet service included in our amenity fee when we moved in (tons of channels with 2 cable boxes, and $30 fee if you wanted gig internet - a steal if you've ever paid for AT&T service before). Shortly after we moved in, they changed to a microwave based internet service called "Zentro" to save money and it continuously has issues with bandwidth dropping and slowdowns in the evening when everyone is at home streaming in their apartments. We opted to keep AT&T fiber internet at our own cost, and pay roughly $100 a month for that honor now. Super cheap of the building.. Most importantly, the availability of advertised amenities has been an absolute joke. Back in October, they announced a multiple-month renovation of the "spa" area (that consists of a hot tub, sauna, and steam room) that would close those amenities for multiple months, during the coldest part of the year in Chicago (they're doing this because it is the slow leasing season, and they will lose the least amount of money, resident satisfaction be darned). This is on top of multiple week to month long closures of this space when the 2000s era HVAC system in the space would fail and they continued to band-aid the system instead of replacing it. These amenities are quite literally the reason we chose this building, and the "spa" area will have been closed for 6-7 months of my 12 month lease. When you complain, the leasing office gives a empty "sorry bro" and points you to a clause in your lease contract stating that amenity availability is not guaranteed. No rent credits, no concessions, nothing. But they say they "LOVE their residents!" I'll let you be the judge. The fitness center and movie theater amenities are okay. The movie theater clearly had a projector replaced with a large screen TV a few years ago, and they refuse to fix the automation/home theater audio system in the room (it's a roku stick and TV speakers only). If you like this building solely for the location and the apartments, you likely will have a great experience here. If the amenities are what draw you to this building, beware, and strongly consider other options for luxury apartments (~$2.5-3k+ for a 1 bedroom). read more

I have lived at Parc Huron for years and can confirm the only good thing about this property is the doorman. They are extremely kind and get to know every resident. The apartment layouts are decent but the building is far from that and the amount they charge and will raise your rent every year is actually delusional for the little the building provides. The lobby constantly smells of sewer which is where all your guests walk in. The building has 21 floors and only two elevators (one of those two is also the service elevator) so there is no time of the day you are not waiting for an elevator. The gym is TINY and way too small for a building this size (3 treadmills and floor space enough for only 2 people) so you will rarely find space at the gym. They provide one single gas grill and table for the entire building. The outside area they do provide has homeless people sleeping in it at nights and early in the morning. There is no security on this area to remove them and the gates are never kept shut to outsiders. They have no rooftop or pool but charge the same price as places that provide both. They will tell you about the "spa" in the basement but its one jacuzzi and a tiny steam room and sauna that is shared by both genders. They provide very few guest parking spots and if you do get to use one they charge $25 for 6 hours blocks. There is not a single grocery store walking distance outside of a 7/11, so def make sure you have a car if you live here. The new massive casino construction has started which ruins the views of half the building units sadly. I lived at Parc Huron for almost 3 years and had a very positive experience. I will especially miss the doormen, especially Anthony, AJ and Sylvester. They were so kind and always happy to help! Management is on top of communications and attentive to any concerns or feedback. They would also plan some nice events and occasionally provide food to residents, e.g. bagels, cookies, sandwiches, beverages, etc. The location was ideal - close to the park and walking distance to the loop and other neighborhoods. The 1BR floor plans are spacious with quality appliances and nice finishes. We barely had maintenance issues but when we did, they were resolved in a timely manner. The maintenance staff are great as well! Amenities may be more limited than other luxury buildings, but it was more than enough for me. I took advantage of the peloton bikes at the gym (there are two) and the first floor lounge for WFH and free coffee/tea. My only complaint is related to the elevators. There are two elevators that service 21 floors and one would be out of service for a long time. We actually moved from the 18th floor to the 5th floor just because of this. My wife and I lived at Parc Huron for a year and a half. We moved from the west coast without a lot of knowledge of the neighborhood. We could not have picked a better place to live than Parc Huron. The management staff is incredible, especially Danielle. She is always willing to sit down and talk with each and every resident at the building and not only listen, but also take action. Bozzuto had just taken over the management around the time we moved in and I can say without a doubt that Parc Huron has transitioned from a building to a community. They are actively looking to improve the resident experience and often ask for resident's input on what they are thinking of next. The concierge staff goes above and beyond each and every day and are happy to do so. Walking in and out of Parc Huron multiple times per day, the concierge staff is always waiting for you with a hello, a smile, and even willing to give our dogs multiple treats. Maurice, Sylvester, and Anthony make it truly a joy to be leaving or coming home each day. As you know - Chicago is known for its popcorn - and Anthony makes the best popcorn in the city, hands down and its always fresh and waiting in the theatre. You can't ask for a better location. For being in the middle of the city, it looks, feels, and sounds like a residential neighborhood. It is a few blocks away from the highway making it really accessible if you need to get anywhere by car or to the airport. A block away from a park right on the river (which has a dog park), and about a 10-15min walk from Hubbard street, Michigan Ave, and the west loop. It is only 3 blocks from East Bank Club and is a short uber ride from any of the other neighborhoods in the city. We have a west facing unit, which makes for some epic sunsets and no early morning light. On the fourth of July we could see about two dozen or so different cities firework celebrations, which is pretty awesome. We absolutely recommend Parc Huron to anyone, it is absolutely worth every penny. read more

My partner and I just relocated here from San Francisco and I am overjoyed with the ease and communication we've received from Parc Huron. They've made this transition extremely easy for us and were always quick to answer any questions that popped up. We had ordered a ton of new furniture (mattress, pillows, you name it!) and when we walked into our apartment on move-in day, everything was waiting for us in our living room! It was such a nice touch. Aside from that, the spa is fantastic. Televisions, an overhead shower, and tranquil lighting really take this spa over the edge. Now for the best part, the concierge staff. From day one we've been welcomed (literally!) with open arms by Sylvester and the rest of the crew. Our packages are always sorted quickly and they have an Amazon Hub station making it easy to grab larger packages and go! We literally had a spreadsheet of options for living in Chicago and I'm so happy we chose Parc Huron! This is home. read more

So let me start off with some context....I was born and raised in the Bay Area, having gone only out of state for work at times or family vacations. You can now understand my mindset when I moved out to Chicago 6 months ago. Gone was the eternal warmth, close friends and family, and good times...so I thought... until I moved to Parc Huron. People? CHECK! Not only are the residents extremely friendly and trying to figure out this city....the staff is out of this world and truly provide such a differentiated and bespoke experience for every single resident. Some might say, "but it's their job". WRONG! The job finishes at good-bye...these guys keep it going. Day or night, they ALWAYS have my back. Facilities? CHECK! So many of you reading this probably understand that summer is basically the best time in Chicago. WRONG! With indoor waterfall, indoor jacuzzi, indoor sauna, indoor steam, indoor massage rooms, indoor theater, indoor gym, and indoor wine cellar....its always peachy here. Key word - indoor. Why leave your apartment or pay for extra amenities when you have everything here?? Some people complain about no rooftop....yeah, 'cuz you're going to use that from September - March, right? Location? CHECK! Everyone knows that the party is in River North and the good food is in West Loop, so a place located 0.5 miles from Hubbard St. or Randolph is quite convient. Far enough from the drunks and snobs that you don't have to deal with them if you don't want to...but if you do....$3 Lyft is not a bad investment. Honestly, I could probably go on for a while....but I'll make my grade school teachers happy and keep it to a 5 paragraph essay. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT...you won't regret it. read more

Yesterday was the last day of my 14 month lease. We found this spot because it was directly across the street from our company office (no commute was a blessing). My experience was one I will never forget! The location was great. The building sits near the western bank of the river and is only five blocks away from the Rock N Roll McDonalds. It's quiet, filled with families and a light business crowd, yet still being accessible to all of Chicago's "hot spots". It almost has a hidden suburb feel. The building itself has the perfect "fancy" high-rise vibe. The two bedroom units are good sized, with wood flooring (Most have a balcony with an epic view of the Chicago skyline). The resources and amenities are awesome too. I specifically really enjoyed the spa steam room and temporary guest parking spots in their garage. Last, but not least, the staff was an unforgettable crew. Sylvester and Maurice and some of the best concierge professionals I have ever met. Sylvester can turn any frown "upside down", and Maurice has a solution for anything. Sam, the maintenance specialist was great too. I loved running into him daily. Also, their front office knows how to manage and serve. Zen was the best property manager I have ever had and he really "gets" the business they are in. They are always trying to improve and add to the value you get living here. Unfortunately, I'll be moving on. I would recommend Parc Huron to anyone who wants the true Chicago experience. As a former tenant, I feel an obligation to future potential tenants to give a review strictly of the 24-hour fitness room. As one of the most expensive rents in the city, PH's fitness room does not live up to expectations for the following reasons: 1. There are only 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals and 2 bikes for a 21-story building; 2. There is a filter on the water fountain. Unfortunately, it has never been changed and its red warning light is illuminated permanently; 3. Personal Trainers are allowed to bring in non-residents for training sessions. Not a big deal except when you are waiting for a treadmill and 2 non-residents are utilizing the machines; 4. The TV's on the machines have 17 channels. Unfortunately, only 5 of the channels work correctly and two of those channels are C-Span 1 and C-Span 2; 5. There used to be a clock, but it didn't keep time. Now there is just a space on the wall with screws where the clock used to be located; and 6. The equipment hasn't been updated since the building first opened. Sad to be moving out of here this month because I love living here. Moving out to be closer to my job. Going to miss the amazing staff - especially Natalia, Maurice, Bruce, Zenel, and Sam. Always took care of me and made me feel very at home and comfortable. Walking distance to so many bars and restaurants. Beautiful, modern units. The 24 hour hot tub, steam room, and sauna downstairs are amazing. Huge theater room. Friendly neighbors. Pet friendly. Only con I can name is the gap under the doors. I purchased a sound blocker to fill in the gap to help block some of the sounds from the hallways and elevator. Have friends that live in the building and will be visiting them and the friendly staff as well. Thank you for the amazing hospitality! read more

I don't live here, but I spend at least 40 hours a week here since I nanny for a family that lives in the building. The apts are a bit small for the price, but the doormen, wine cellar, spa room, cyber cafe, movie theater and convenience to the highway and brown/blue lines, a plethora of restaurants and shops PLUS close proximity to Merchandise Mart and the mag mile make this a great location. The resident events are great too. It's also a building that happens to have a lot of families in it in an area that has a ton of families around, so I'm always taking the little guy around to music classes, parks, walks along the river front, or to play dates with other little ones. He gets a LOT of interaction with other kids despite being an only child! All in all, it's totally worth the price, so you'd might as well stop trying to convince yourself that you can get a better deal for your money elsewhere. read more

I rent a space in this building and I love everything about it!! The building is newer and decorated so beautiful and modern. Their landscaping is also amazing! I love love love the staff from the office to the doorman's, maintenance, engineer, and all the above! If you are looking for luxury rental (which comes with a spa and so much more!), don't look any further than Parc Huron. It will feel like home and the location is excellent ! read more

We loved living here! If we hadn't moved out of state we would have definitely renewed our lease. Our one bedroom had very nice finishes (including a gas range) and amazing views of the city. Since the building has a park on the east side, we have unobstructed views of the skyline from our balcony. Fantastic area. The spa area is nice, and the free coffee and fresh-baked cookies in the cyber cafe brightened many of my mornings. The whole building has AT&T U-verse, not Comcast, which is great. The cost was subsidized by the building, so it was actually pretty cheap. What really makes it a great place to live, though, is the staff. Every maintenance request was handled promptly. The doormen were awesome and often went out of their way to be helpful. The leasing staff were great, too. My fiance and I pretty much agree that no apartment will ever live up to Parc Huron from now on. read more

I've been here almost a year now, so I guess it is time for me to write my experience about this property. Pros: 1. The Manager and Leasing Staff are amazing. They know the property well. They are very well educated with the property and all it has to offer. I was here during the transition with the new company Bozzuto and they didn't skip a beat during the changeover. They actually do certain things differently and more consistently than the previous group as in residential events, puppy times, and various other social and community activities. Even though I have decided to leave the property to purchase a home they were more than willing to work with me in regards to possibly choosing to stay at Parc Huron 2. Concierge Desk. Every single one of them I speak with almost on a daily basis. They know just about every resident by name and are quick to help in whatever your needs or concerns may be. One actually helped me one day when my battery died in my vehicle. Without question they were quick to help. They all have an amazing personality and you will definitely find joy in speaking to each and every one of them during their individual shifts. Where other building concierge personnel are there to fill a seat for the day, these guys and gals will get up to call down a cab at the corner, they will help you with your luggage when coming in, assist you with carrying packages to your units, and just checking on your general well being. 3. Maintenance Staff. They are quick. Very quick in fact. I have been fortunate to not have many problems occur in my unit that would require maintenance services, but the few I have had were handled quickly and professionally. I get to speak with these guys every morning when I'm outside with my dog and they are a joy to have conversation with. It just feels like a very family type scenario. Keep in mind I go out of my way to speak with people so I can definitely tell you that all these folks here working for Bozzuto are great to speak with. 4. Units. I am in a East facing unit on the 18th floor. Amazeballs!! That is the word I am going to use for the view that this building has of the city sky line. If you plan on moving here definitely try and get a high floor east facing unit. The floors are fake wood but it does the job. It still looks good and the newer floors that they have been putting in look great. The washers / dryers are your standard you would find in any other place. It works. The entertainment package and internet connectivity is outstanding. Plenty of natural light and quiet you almost get too much light. 5. Location. The area is in River North. You are in walking distance to just about everything you could possibly want: food, park, gym, grocery, night life, corner store, coffee, and just about any other daily need. Cons: 1. Elevators: Hands down this is the most complained about thing in this building. Why the developers built this building with 2 elevators and one being freight is beyond me. The staff here does their best to control the hours the elevators are used however there seems to be times that the elevator is locked when it shouldn't be. There isn't a close monitor of the elevators to check for these issues. There have been times where the freight elevator is locked for a move in and the other elevator is being used by someone else to move house furniture. It gets crazy. You might read this and think, oh that is fine, but trust me the elevator situation will end up being that one thing that just irks you every time it happens. I have sat over 5m before waiting on an elevator. It gets old quick. 2. Cigarettes / Smoking: The building mgmt. puts out constant notices of this issue reminding residents about smoking. The fact that they are having to do this so frequently confirms my own experience of smoking in and around the building entrances. I have seen residents smoking in the lobby granted it was an electronic vaping devices but still. There doesn't seem to be enforcement of these rules. I believe there is a fine for it but I mean come on, who is out there looking for every possible offender on a daily basis. Be careful of the south end of the building as this seems to be an ashtray for those above. I have walked a number of times and get tagged with cigarettes being either thrown or flying off balconies. In the morning you can see the litter of cigarettes on the ground in that general area. It bothers me but I get over it. 3. Pet Waste: Seems to be a big issue outside near the dog run. People are not picking up after their pets. It is disgusting and lazy, there are bags provided before going outside and in dog run. Some type of enforcement for this behavior is needed. Not only is it a health issue it brings a nasty smell with it. It sucks because it is right next to the outdoor park area which is adjacent the dog run. Overall I enjoy the place. As you can see not too much to complain about. Is it perfect? No. However it is pretty damn close. read more

I lived here for 3 years and after living in Chicago for 8 I can honestly say this is the best building to live in! Fantastic location. Close to coffee shops, parks, gyms, bars, restaurants and more! The brown line and the highway are just a few blocks away ! The apartments themselves are quiet, spacious and high end. Nothing needed to fixed or replaced while I was there. But if I needed a lightbulb changed it was done within hours! And omg the spa! Amazing to use all year round! Parking garage is huge and you have enough space to get in and out of compared to some others in the city. honestly the best part of living there was the staff! They were truly hospitable and knew everything about everyone. Bozzutto (sp?) I believe manages it and they are really great! Huge shoutout to Sylvester, Maurice and the rest of the staff! Parc Huron is an amazing place to call home ! I lived in the building for 3 years when it first opened, then relocated to be closer to work....and now I'm moving back ! The building has fabulous finishes and is always kept clean and fresh. There is no better management team anywhere in the city. The office, led by the best building manager ever (Sabrina), ensures that all resident concerns are taken care of, and Sabrina goes above and beyond to get good residents moved into the building. The doorstaff are the best group ever, and the maintenance team is top notch. The first time I moved into Parc Huron, it was love at first sight. I didn't view any other buildings. This time, I did additional research on other apartment homes in different neighborhoods I was exploring, but no one delivers the service, quality and value that Parc Huron does ! read more

Everything about this place is amazing!:) The staff is one of the best parts, always so friendly and competent. They always seem to be in good moods and happy to be there! The spa and other amenities are top notch, and always very very clean. They have a complimentary coffee machine on the first floor, which I use almost every single morning on my way out. The appliances in the apartments are the highest quality, along with everything else including the granite, wood floors, etc. The massive glass windows make the space so bright and offer such an amazing view of the city. Maintenance requests are usually handled the SAME day they are submitted, and are completed happily. All of the maintenance people are very friendly and helpful, even helping us move a couch one time while he was there simply to fix a light bulb! Great location and pet friendly, very safe, and just gives off an all around pleasant vibe. We love Parc Huron:) read more

This building is very nice and the concierge/front desk are the best Chicago has to offer. It's not even a competition when you have the big 3 (Maurice, Sylvester, and Anthony) reppin' the front desk!! They are backed with a great onsite building mgmt. staff (Morgan, Danielle, and Zen) who are very attentive to tenant needs and always there to help. Finally, I'd be re-missed if I didn't mention Sam and co. for any custodial/maintenance needs, any issues with apartment appliances are attended to in a timely manor. I've lived quite a few nice buildings in Chicago, many don't have the staff to back up it. Bravo! read more

I have lived here for over 3 years and its a wonderful building, the finishes are high end and the other residents are all great. Its a classy building and attracts the same type of people. The management staff is also wonderful to work with. Zen is awesome and is always ready and willing to help with any issues and to get you set up. All of the door staff is also great. Parc Huron should change it's name to Parc Huron Air-B-N-B. They don't tell you when you move in that they rent out apartments every weekend and save the premier parking spots for their "guests". Warning to all current residents...you better give them 60 days notice in writing when you are moving. They will ignore the fact that I indicated that I was moving and send a collection agency after you for some inflated rent amount. All they had to do was tell me to put it in writing when I told them I was leaving. read more

I absolutely loved living in this building, especially since new management. Danielle, the new manager is amazing. The concierge (Mr. Sylvester, Maurice and Sam) and leasing staff (Zen) became my family over the year and I actually shed a tear when it was time to move! They are so helpful, family oriented, and hospitable. They go above and beyond when you need something done and I felt everyday when I came home I was walking into a five star hotel. From their warm daily greetings, the spectacular amenities and morning pastries to the cool building parties and promo events in the cyber cafe. I've stayed in a few buildings downtown but nothing like this. read more

The building is great (amenities, finishes, modernity, etc) and the location made this an easy choice for me, but the best part of living here is the staff. Sylvester cheers me up every morning when I leave for work, Ray is so kind, Maurice bends over backwards to help residents, Anthony makes my life 1000% times easier with all his help, and everyone from the leasing office to the maintenance crew has made my first month living here so fantastic. I saw a LOT of buildings when choosing a new place, and this one blew all the others away. read more

Parc Huron is a great rental building. The building is clean and pretty new. The location is good, in a quite neighborhood with brown line access in 10 mins. What is most important to me, the staff and maintenance service is willing to help you whenever needed even on weekend. Not like other places I stayed, whenever you have some request/issues, it would take days or weeks to fix especially during weekend. In general, I would say Parc Huron is definitely somewhere I would recommend to others if asked. read more

Location was tops at our Chicago rental at the Parc Huron. You are walkable to Brown line and Red line, Whole Foods and tons of restaurants and bars including my favorite Chicago deep dish place - Lou Malnati's. We were a party of 6 consisting of 3 couples so we rented a 3 bedroom/2 bath condo. This was an adult trip and wow this is how the other half lives with no kids...... I was jealous! Our condo was really lovely with the views ceiling to floor. We would hang out at the balcony and just take it all in with some beers, and wine! The staff was great. Especially Sylvester, the morning doorman and Mike (I hope this is his name) evening doormen. So nice and personable. The lounge was great too offering coffee, tea and popcorn. Full business center too with lots of computers to jump on and a printer! This came in handy to print out our tickets to attractions. The gym was nice too but of course we didn't have time to use it. There is also a wine cellar for residents and a min movie theatre you can rent out and just bring a Netflix movie to watch in comfort! We even lucked out the there was a spa visiting in the lounge and offering complimentary massages, and facials, plus nibbles! If I was single and in Chicago I would totally live here. Lots of people with doggies so it was pet friendly. Great safe area to walk around even at night! read more

BEWARE of Lease terms if you have a job/career that may require a re-location. In most building leases you would be required to give 30-60 days notice + one month penalty rent. Here it will cost you over $10,000 to move out. They will not work with you on any terms and has been a more than disappointing process when the apartment will likely be rented out at a higher rate as it is high season. On the Pro side the doormen are the BEST I have had in any building and the apartments are beautiful. read more

The concierge staff of Sylvester, Maurice, and Anthony are truly the best. They 100% get 5 stars from my husband and I. If you are looking for the city's best concierge/doormen service, I don't think you will find better. If you look at all Parc Huron's reviews, you will find only positive (and totally true) statements about the concierge staff. The maintenance staff was also very professional and timely. Your unit will be well looked after during your stay, which offers great peace of mind. We did have a few other issues with Parc Huron which ultimately factored in our decision to move, namely, we signed a lease to live on a dog-free floor because of allergies and I work from home. Noise has always been an issue since many residents work and leave their pets unattended at home for long hours of most days. Two months into our lease, Parc Huron changed building management and didn't honor the advertised amenities that were discussed at the time we agreed to lease with the community. Many of our neighbors quickly added new puppy additions to their homes. For those who love living in a dog-friendly community, I am sure you will enjoy this perk of the community. Parc Huron is very pet friendly, and many of the residents enjoy having a pet at home. For us, it was a bad fit. Our issue was not that Parc Huron is pet-friendly, but that they didn't honor or satisfactorily remedy the terms of our lease agreement in our opinion. We also moved in at a time when the surrounding area was beginning many new development projects. We weren't on a particularly high floor, so the 6 days of construction noise throughout the early morning and day was very distracting. Additionally, we lost our view to the west. Since construction is slated to run for another year, we opted for a new location. Chicago offers many high rise luxury apartment buildings and condos. Parc Huron does a nice job overall and has many luxury amenities like a workout room, theater room, wine cellar, and spa to compete. We infrequently used them to justify the added expense of living there, but appreciated the high end finishes and care the staff took to maintain the premises. Parc Huron is as genuinely one of the best places I could imagine to live. The building is modern and filled with outstanding amenities: hot tub, sauna, steam room, theatre, gym, free guest parking. The bozzuto staff is excellent and incredibly friendly. The concierge staff is out of this world, shoutout to Maurice, Anthony, Sylvester and Sam. They are incredibly friendly and take a genuine interest in their work. They really become friends and confidants. I really love everything about the building including the rooms and views. Concierge staff and leasing office are extremely nice and always helpful

This building is relatively affordable for its location, very clean, and peaceful. Overall we have enjoyed staying here. Pros: Covered, windowed parking garage with assigned parking that is open to Parc Huron residents and guests only. You can be assured your car will be safe and scratch-free here unlike other buildings that open their garages for general public parking. The staff who run the concierge desk is amazing! They are always helpful, kind, and prompt. It helps to have someone greet you with a smile after a hard day of work, and they have helped us out very much when we've needed anything. The interior design of the spaces are extremely well-done with almost zero space wasted and a bright, fresh finish. Because of this the spaces feel much bigger than they actually are. The appliances are top-notch and the high ceilings make everything feel roomy. Cons: I wish there was a better community space in this building. Residents don't mingle as much as we would like and a lack of an inviting open space that's easy to get to makes it difficult to get to know our neighbors. Dark floors in the apartments make it easy to see dust and debris. Having only two elevators for a 20-story building means long waits, especially in the mornings and evenings as well as when one is reserved for people moving in or out. read more

I have lived at the Parc Huron for the last 4 years. It has gone downhill quickly. The units may be nice, but the lack of management has become unbearable. Parc Huron prides itself on the views through its floor-to-ceiling windows. However, I have been living with a shattered duct-taped window for over 6 months. Parc Huron charges some of the top rents in the city (+$4,000 a month) and a shattered window is unacceptable. When I finally got tired of complaining about it, they peeled off the duct tape and left glass all over my apartment. I even cut myself on the shards of glass all over my furniture. Management has done nothing about this inconvenience and pretends like it is not even an issue. Watch out if you are considering living here. There are much better places which will take care of major issues on a prompt basis. read more

Prior to moving to Chicago in April 2015 I reviewed nearly every apartment complex that met my needs (doorman, great location, modern, in-unit washer/ dryer, etc.) and narrowed my decision down to three options. Once I stepped foot into Parc Huron I immediately knew that was where I belonged and here's why: Staff: Hands down the best staff of any apartment complex I've ever experienced. Sylvester, Maurice and Zen are not only the friendliest faces you will see all day, but they are so genuine and you truly feel they know and care about every resident. The maintenance team is also top notch and they are some seriously hard workers. They are constantly working to keep the public areas immaculate and maintenance requests are almost always completed in less than 24 hours. Safety and location: The building is located in a safe, upscale residential area of River North. It's far enough from the downtown congestion, yet just a quick walk to popular restaurants, attractions, etc. and it has convenient access to I-90/ 94. Building: The building is as beautiful as it looks in the photos and it is maintained everyday to stay that way. Since the building is relatively small in terms of units, it feels more like a condominium than an apartment complex, plus the amenities are great and never overcrowded. I've lived at Parc Huron for 10 months and absolutely love it! Not only is the building and apartments modern and beautiful, but you can't beat the staff! Sabrina was excellent to work with when signing my lease and answered all the questions I had and made it easy to move in. I was moving from out of state and the movers didn't have an exact delivery date, but Sabrina ensured she could accommodate the movers whatever day they came with little advanced notice. The door staff is fantastic! They know everyone's name and really get to know each resident. They always make me feel safe and go out of their way to help me. The maintenance staff is great as well. If a work order is submitted they jump right on it and fix it immediately. The apartment has really nice touches. I think the carpet was replaced prior to my move in and the apartment looked brand new. Parch Huron will make you feel at home and welcomed. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to live in downtown Chicago. You won't find a better place! read more

This is the absolute, hands-down, the BEST apartment complex I've ever lived in and I've lived in complexes in several states for comparison sake. The people on this staff are warm, caring and truly felt like family. The layout of the apartment was superb and functional - made it feel bigger than it was. The quality of the apartment was excellent, the view and location cannot be matched. We will miss this place tremendously! If we could pick up the apartment and the people and move it to where we're moving, we would do it! Seriously, numerous people who visited me at my apartment would comment on the friendliness of the concierge team - most notably Sylvester! I would have food delivered or have a vendor visit or a friend and almost without fail they would ask me, "who is your concierge? He's awesome! So nice." The moving company even noted how great the staff is - and they said they are in high rise luxury apartment buildings all the time and have never been treated as well as they here. Sabrina's professionalism and sincerity are umatched. She was kind and caring and became a friend. Being around these folks you couldn't help but put on a smile.
