Most of the staff has been there many years, and they promote from within, which speaks volumes. We feel like the staff is family. They take such phenomenal care of the residents, our most cherished loved ones. There are multiple daily activities, outings, terrific meal choices, beautiful terraces, places to walk, lovely gathering rooms, physical therapy/exercise room and amazing dining areas. This was the best thing I could have done, and the the best place for her. The "feel" at Ivy Hall is like a large family. Staff delivers services with warmth and care. The difference in my mother is striking. My out of state children saw a recent picture and exclaimed "she looks 10 years younger than she looked in April". It was quite stressful and frightening to realize that we were at this point in her life and would have to trust in others to take care of her. We love the staff and so does our mother. They treat her with such kindness and care. It is such a relief to have such wonderful people care for our mother. They treat her like she is their family member, not just a resident at the property they work at. During COVID, it is especially hard as we are not able to visit on a regular basis and do the things we typically would for her however the staff is always there to assist us in whatever we need. During this disturbing time they have provided my mother and the other residents with a safe and healthy environment and adhere to all the health guidelines. I would highly recommend making this your loved ones new home if you should be looking for an assisted living/memory care property. One year later they have a 9.7 rate Increase. Talk about false advertising. She is on a limited budget and her social security only increased 2.4%.
