She seems eager to help individual family member of the residents in her care. Vanessa - spent time with me explaining how the two outstanding bills will be posted. She was easy to talk with and made clear what I can expect. Weekend staff - Toni as well as the person designated to help Rick that day, and the Sunday wellness staff person were helpful, showing what truly seems a calling for this kind of work. When I left, another staff member (male) went over to talk with Rick, making it easier for me to leave. Dwana - We had a nice talk on Sunday about life in Evergreen in general. It was she who suggested that I notify Shylonda of some housekeeping needs for Rick. I don't know if she, and your other staff, have a real idea how important, how comforting such short talks can be to new family members. It truly matters. Toni - I spent most of my staff time with Toni on Sunday. She could tell I was distressed over the evangelical nature of the activity taking up the full common area (not the learning room closer to the patio), as well as the lack of anywhere else for Rick to be for the approximately 90 minutes they were there. I know she will be reaching out to Stephanie, and I am grateful to her for rescuing Rick and me. When I entered Evergreen in the midst of singing and preaching, Rick said, "You rescued me!" Toni understands that we are not Christian, and she took us out to the patio and encouraged Rick to sing some of our Unitarian Universalist hymns. As you know, memory and music are a pretty amazing pair. I deeply appreciate both the initiative she took, and what, I'm sure, will be her follow up with Stephanie. You and I and your staff will continue to communicate often as Rick continues to adjust to Memory Care. I wanted you to know, after some of the bumps that you've worked out for me, how grateful I am. The prep and paperwork went very smoothly and efficiently, so she could move in on about two weeks notice. Also, the staff worked closely with her doctor to make sure all the medical forms were completed in a timely manner. And in the brief time my mom has been there, I am overwhelmed with how wonderful and caring the staff is, and how communicative they are - having a very comprehensive orientation meeting where I get to meet all of the staff leadership, and several of the staff initiating calls and texts to let me know how things are going (I live 3000 miles away in California). It gives me incredible peace of mind knowing my mom is in good hands and actually enjoying her days at Arbor Terrace!

The facility is clean, the staff truly tries. I feel comfortable knowing that my mother is in s good professional environment. There is a schedule that residents seem to like and follow. Breakfast in the morning, lunch at 12, dinner at 5. Also 3 pm coffee hour that is a fun social hour with music playing in the garden area. In terms of activities there is a variety. Mom's favorite is Bingo. Birthday parties which involve relatives planning with the social director are an added plus. Seems my mother has more parties to attend than I do. Plus during holidays, the socials are well planned such as the recent Mother's Day celebration with music and delicious appetizers or Christmas with Secret Santa or Halloween themes. Mass on Fridays is something my mother looks forward to. The residents are nice and well dressed with nice manners. Conservative but friendly and kind. Insignia Caparra in PR is a wonderful place for Seniors with different levels. I know it is a difficult and sad decision when one has to consider placing a parent at a Senior Living place. Glad I found Insignia. It was a hard decision to make but Insignia made us feel that we can trust them with our mother who we love dearly and want the best for her.

We found Regency through a networking event. We hired them for helping with home care for my…read moreelderly parents. The previous agency we felt was good, but my mother was not too keen on the quality of caregivers that were sent to my parents home. For that reason we decided to make a change to see "what was out there". Immediately we saw an improvement in the quality of the caregivers that Regency employed. We also noticed a quicker response when we needed to make changes to the schedule. They were faster to adjust the schedule, even on short notice, and were so easy to work with. In comparison to the previous arrangement, it was a very noticeable improvement. I have seen numerous instances where their caregivers and the support team in their offices went the extra mile. Both in terms of being onsite in keeping my elderly parents happy and in terms of common sense business ethos coming from the support team. Eventually the part time care increased to full time care as my parents health developed more issues. Regency's folks never skipped a beat. A great organization, from the top to the bottom. It certainly was a wise move to consider them for the caring of my parents.

Had a fantastic outing on my own yesterday using Uber and meeting up with friends. A reprieve from this living hell. You are not allowed to restrain patients, etc. but Friday night another patient who was in her own distress was in the hall screaming for hours. I always felt safe here until then when she was literally 5 feet from our room and my back was to her as I tried to eat my salad at 9 pm. I made a blockade with my wheelchair and ice cart and put keys to make noise if anyone entered. Talk about our own version of "Home Alone" and an absolute fire and safety hazard to have things in our way if we needed to get out. This brings up another interesting point. Is there enough staff to evacuate all the clients in an emergency. I can answer that. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Damn it takes 2-3 for patients to be in line for the hoyer lift. Will you roll everyone out in their beds with or without oxygen and legally not have any side rails to protect oneself? Where does one begin when they're not even worthy of 1 star. Call this place "Hotel California" and let your imagination run! Meds are never right or on hand. Are you kidding me? It's a battle every single night trying to ensure my medicine is correct. Tonight two were not available and after my rant and rave to them and my son, it mysteriously appeared. It's a constant BS story. Last night the person handing meds out knew nothing about my most critical medicine. I had her triple check and argue with me. Pretty incredible when I threw the generic name out she said "oh yeah I have that". Then why the hell did you not give it to me? It is not as needed. It is my overall health and well being here. Let's talk about the absolute lies and stories they give you. It's not even overpromising and underdelivering, it's simply every time you turn around it's underdelivering. The food Labor Day weekend was hamburger, hamburger, hotdog, and a very dead grilled cheese. That was 4 meals. I had to switch to chef salads for the remainder of my time here. Everyone is a gatekeeper and the can just keeps getting kicked and no one seems to know how to get things done. If you want a facility that all you're worried about is rehab and not overall care come here but know you've sold your loved one or yourself to the devil so the bastard who owns this and the administrator all look good and the ROI is what ultimately counts. Patient care and attentiveness is last on the list.What about the several floods that have happened? Hmmmm let's throw towels down on the floor and step around the 10'x10' mini (pictures) . Where is this water coming from? They probably won't tell you the truth but I'll tell you without a doubt there's black mold and the air quality is awful. I honestly can't say anything good about this place. Precious is one of the techs and the name absolutely suits her. She's a queen at her job but the only one out of how many? I told 3 employees the night before a doctors appointment. Communication at its worst. You're better using two cans and a string to get a message across. I gave the night shift nurse all the information and had them unlock the door. The audacity of them to call my son and tell him your mom left and we don't know where she went. LIARS! RUN, RUN, RUN! The charge nurses/director of nursing would literally sit in their office doing nothing, and if the LPN's were overwhelmed with residents their was absolutely no help or support from management. The nurses RARELY cleaned or changed feeding tubes/vents when they should have. I came on to multiple shifts where the previous nurse had skipped medications for residents or not hung feedings to patients requiring feeding tubes. Lazy! Almost every one of my shifts started with cleaning residents up because they were sitting in soiled briefs. I had a miscarriage while working there and required a d&c. I missed 2 shifts due to this and had a note, and they fired me. They don't care about their employees and they cared about very few of their residents. Bottom line, if you actually love your family/friends keep them FAR from here!

We tried other therapists in the past but they don't make him work like Ms Tracy so it's a waste of time bc his visits were only 30 min. She's excellent at what she does.

I took my kid to another OT specialty office that was certified and they questioned the quality of therapy my child was getting due to this. 2. Their secretary when she first started called babies cant wait to get my speech cancelled after we had a friendly convo about aba and she told me she was vehemently against it..when i called babies cant wait the coordinator confirmed a helping hands rep called them to advise this and apologized thaf she had no reason to go out of her way to do that. My speech thankfully was never cancelled. My baby was newly diagnosed and i had no idea at that time aba was such a heated issue. 3. Lack of transparency. The owner calls and yells at me not recognizing her staff fave the wrong info or made a wrong decision about a question my husband asked Instead of calling to ask.i was berated after two years of goijg to this place told i wasnt an involved parent. If you just need an in and out place go here. But if you want a therapist that really understands sensory issues and is able to work on that instead of just felling you to get a vest and or trampoline go to a place where therapists are certified in sensory integration. I wasted 2 years going here thinking they need what they were doing. If you need to find out who is go on the website online to confirm any therapist has certification. Again always get a name and be transparent. Cos their staff isnt even aware of their own policies and will blame you. And the owner is not aware or accountable to her staff not knowing policy and will blame you for it.

My mom lived at a larger assisted…read moreliving facility for 2 years in an early memory care neighborhood but began to need added security at night (bed rails/ cameras) due to being a fall risk and better staff: resident ratio for oversight during the day due to her impaired mobility. Zoe, the owner, is incredibly responsive, very in tune with the residents, and communicative with us about anything potentially going on with my mom before I even get there to notice which has been just a huge relief to know someone is actually paying attention to the signs of a UTI or anything else that may be going on. She even takes those that are able out occasionally for salon days! The home is only 5 bedrooms with 2 staff during the day and 1 at night so the resident: staff ratio is better than anywhere I've found and certainly better than any assisted living you will find! For someone with dementia, less is more and by less I just mean - less people, less commotion, less vast spaces than assisted living, but much much better care all in a true home environment. With only 4 caretakers, my mom very quickly became familiar with and felt comfortable and safe around them vs constant rotations at assisted living. She is able to sleep in, bed rails can be provided as needed, security cameras with audible alarms to staff during the night, and just less space to worry about oversight or being out of sight to where someone like my mom is less likely to fall. The home had comfy recliners in bedrooms and living rooms so residents can lounge comfortably which is a luxury over assisted living! Lori, the other owner, is a registered nurse and has been really helpful in streamlining medication management and dietary needs for my mom. I'm sure I'm missing a million good things about Regency but it has truly been a very positive experience to see my mom so well rested, so happy, and putting on a little weight - she looks better than she has in a very long time and I know it's due to the level of care and oversight she receives from everyone at Regency. Shout out to the amazing staff - Shereka, Candy, Diki, And Tefanie! It's like a little family there. I highly recommend if you are considering alternative options for your loved one to check this out especially for dementia care vs a memory care unit at assisted living both due to the level of care and the level of comfort and quality of life for your loved one.

This facility is impeccably clean well maintained. Zoe and her staff were truly unbelievable in the loving care that they gave my wife until her final days. I know my wife loved this home since she expressed this numerous times. and her love for Terri and Donna. Although the entire staff is excellent, I need to especially recognize Terri and Donna who are now are a part of our extended family. During her time there, my family and I were always welcomed with open arms and we all felt like family. For anyone that is in the unfortunate position of placing a loved one into a personal care home, look no further, this is the place! Tony Amorose
