My twin is Ron Coffee. I worry about him. I also try to 'be with him' in spirit, and it would help to know something of his "space." What room identification does he have? What floor is he on? What would he see from his window?

Hi Don, I understand your worry and concern about your brother! Due to security, we can't answer this question on Yelp. However, if you email us at WeCare@arborcompany.com… Read more

Memory care is an absolute nightmare. The floor is like fly paper, they do the laundry, but never even turned the clothes right side out and just stuff them in the drawers, and they have one supervisor that they rely on for seven days a week 24 hours a day. That is an impossible job for anyone and they're too cheap to find extra help. There is very little mental stimulation for the people in memory care. I think it's all about the money and they hope the memory care people don't remember any details to report to their family. The staff doesn't even notice a guest walking in at times. All of them are over in the corner, looking at their telephones. I had walked in more than once to find my family member lying on a bed directly on the plastic! No sheets, no blankets no nothing. We also had numerous pieces of jewelry come up missing from the memory care unit. Granted, we shouldn't have had anything expensive there, but still you like to trust the staff.. Say no to their memory if you love the person you're looking to place there!

This last year during the COVID virus has been challenging for all senior communities. TCW has met the challenges head on, and has been proactive in all areas where needed to continue to keep the residents safe and healthy. From delivering meals directly to each resident, ensuring to screen residents for infection, monitoring and cleanliness, following state mandated guidelines, coordinating that all residents are vaccinated and working daily to keep each resident engaged in the community during a global pandemic, I applaud the staff. There are so.many outstanding and dedicated staff members that have gone above and beyond to ensure the residents quality of life is the best that it can be. In a pandemic, that is no small feat! TCW is a beautiful facility, filled with caring residents. My mother loves this community, the activities, the staff, her lovely apartment and her friends. Just walking in the door, makes you realize that happy residents live here. Thank you TCW staff for all your commitment. So glad that 2020 is over, and the virus pandemic is resolving. You all deserve a metal of honor!

We looked and interviewed so many memory care properties and none compared to TCH. It was quite stressful and frightening to realize that we were at this point in her life and would have to trust in others to take care of her. We love the staff and so does our mother. They treat her with such kindness and care. It is such a relief to have such wonderful people care for our mother. They treat her like she is their family member, not just a resident at the property they work at. During COVID, it is especially hard as we are not able to visit on a regular basis and do the things we typically would for her however the staff is always there to assist us in whatever we need. During this disturbing time they have provided my mother and the other residents with a safe and healthy environment and adhere to all the health guidelines. I would highly recommend making this your loved ones new home if you should be looking for an assisted living/memory care property. The quality of care provided here will truly make the transition easier for you and your loved one.

At the time, I was told…read moreby a gentleman who said his mom lives there that the food was one of the best things about the place -- and that's one of the main reasons I chose it. Unfortunately, that couldn't be further from the truth. The food is absolutely terrible. I wouldn't serve some of it to anyone. The kitchen seems to go through cooks constantly, and the meals look and taste like something thrown together with no care at all. I've posted pictures so you can see for yourself -- what they are calling "lasagna" on the menu. It looks like it is missing marinara sauce and was filled with something that could pass for cat pate. You can't even tell that it is what it is. Also, do you serve corn and broccoli with lasagna? My mom sends me photos of her meals all the time, and it's heartbreaking. I've resorted to taking her grocery shopping so she can have something decent to eat. I genuinely feel sorry for the residents who don't have family nearby to help them. It's a shame because the facility itself is clean and the staff are kind and caring. But the food situation is unacceptable -- and it's been this way for years now. If management doesn't fix the kitchen problem, it overshadows everything else that is good about the place.

Suddenly we had many decisions to make that we were not prepared to make. We were directed to The Phoenix and James Creek. We had lived in the area for many years but were unaware of this facility. Victoria was so kind and gave us a tour of The Phoenix. We had never seen anything like this as it was like being at a lodge in Colorado. The building is beautifully decorated and has amenities I couldn't imagine from a library, to a Garden room, to a movie room, etc. We spent a few hours here and every staff member greeted us with kindness, knowledge, and friendliness. They knew all of the residents names and genuinely seemed joyful in their job. When he arrived after being transported from the hospital they immediately took care of him and gave him a bath. His first meal here he ate every bite and loved the food. We are grateful we found a place that would love on him when we can't. We also love the area as it is in a residential area where the local community supports and loves on the residents.
