Nestled in the heart of Korea Town in Duluth, Georgia, my first impression was truly impressive. Guided by Ms. Mun, the Community Relations Director, we toured the facility and enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared for the residents. It was exceptional. If my late parents had lived in Georgia, this is exactly the kind of place I would have wanted them to call home. Eben Silver Town is not designed for low-income seniors, but rather for those who can afford $4,000-$5,000 per month, which includes meals. Their plans are also flexible, allowing residents to customize accommodations and services as needed. The community offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, with optional à la carte services such as housekeeping, weekly laundry and linen, medication management, and monitoring and cueing assistance. On-site amenities include the Fit In Motion physical therapy clinic, a fitness room, yoga studio, café, theater, rooftop garden and putting green, kids' room, party room, library, and chapel.

With over 18 months of having an incontinent family member reside here our advice is to run not…read morewalk away from this horrendous facility. We had a camera that we checked remotely and you should have one! Meetings with the Executive Director and Wellness Director were held at our request but nothing changed after their promises. The CNA's are very lazy and left our loved one in soiled diapers with urine and feces. They would walk in the room, look but not touch him and walk back out. Minimal effort is made to do anything. Diapers were not changed on any schedule and sometimes not even once in 24 hours The laundry situation is a joke. After realizing that the laundry facility was in dire need of care, we took the laundry home. The machines are old, don't work right and the laundry detergent that feeds into the machines is usually empty. Most of the machines need to be replaced They laughed at and yelled at him because his diaper was so full of urine and feces. The caregivers morale is low. They came in and yelled at our family member because they had to change him. We finally got one fired, but the others still made cruel comments to him and laughed. Housekeeping and cleanliness is an issue. Rooms were moped with dirty water and vanity and si sky were never cleaned. our loved one died in early December but we were not refunded the balance of the December rent $3, 300 until Feb 6. In our view the owner of Ivy Springs is enriching himself with this low budget facility to the detriment of those who proclaim to give quality care and respect. We will never place anyone in Ivy Springs or any Mainstay Senior living facility, the parent company. Please please do not use this facility. we had a family member spend from 9 to 3 every day and it was horrific.

My mother was admitted and within 48 hours sent to the hospital without our consent. Shortly after the family was notified that our mother was being sent to the hospital for a stomach ache-we received a text to pick up her belongings. She was not a good fit for their facility and required more attention than they expected. She was literally put out on the street with no place to go. Anyone that could do this to an elderly person in my mother's condition and sleep at night SHOULD NOT BE IN THIS BUSINESS! Daniela-you will be reported to the state and we will not stop until the doors of all three business are closed! Daniela-your response to my review shows your lack of professionalism. I hope anyone who reads this review will appreciate the time you spent sharing personal information that is unsubstantiated in an attempt to clear your name. We as customers have the RIGHT to review your facility. This site is not about reviewing paying customers. You are only making yourself look bad. As we search for a new facility and mention your name-we find our mother is not the only one to suffer from your abuse. I spoke with another facility yesterday (someone from your claimed community) that was also speaking with a family whose parent was under your care and was very displeased with your services. Our mother has never been discharged from any facility nor have I been banned from any facility. I'm not sure why you choose to fabricate these lies about our families situation. Your rant shows your true character and the uncaring nature of a person that has no business calling yourself a caregiver.

We looked and interviewed so many memory care properties and none compared to TCH. It was quite stressful and frightening to realize that we were at this point in her life and would have to trust in others to take care of her. We love the staff and so does our mother. They treat her with such kindness and care. It is such a relief to have such wonderful people care for our mother. They treat her like she is their family member, not just a resident at the property they work at. During COVID, it is especially hard as we are not able to visit on a regular basis and do the things we typically would for her however the staff is always there to assist us in whatever we need. During this disturbing time they have provided my mother and the other residents with a safe and healthy environment and adhere to all the health guidelines. I would highly recommend making this your loved ones new home if you should be looking for an assisted living/memory care property. The quality of care provided here will truly make the transition easier for you and your loved one.
