We brought my mom to live here after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She did not come willingly…read morebecause she didn't understand her illness and was a handful when she arrived. Suzanne and Chuck went out of their way to make the adjustment as smooth as possible. After a few short weeks, she loved it there. All the workers were extremely kind to her. We had a few minor hiccups with her medications, but that is to be excepted and they were quick to fix the problems. Eventually my mom was placed in their memory care and I was happy with the care she was given. They helped get my mom on hospice and kept me aware of the hospice staff and how they were doing. The biggest gratefulness I have towards Benton House is when my mom fell and fractured her back. We thought for sure she would have to be placed in a nursing home. They were wonderful to accept her back and told me this was her home. She died a few weeks later, but happy and grateful that she was able to live her final days in a place she eventually fell in love with.

Currently, she's receiving speech and occupational therapy from Kidz Speak. Her speech therapist is "Ms. Trish" Sumner and her OT is "Ms. Lindsey" Giles; both therapists are licensed professionals, with the academics and experience needed to help your child. Catherine loves them and is always excited to go to her appointments; she thinks she's playing. I've sat in on speech and OT sessions, and it amazes me how the therapists work to help Catherine improve on her language skills as well as her fine motor skills. Even if your child is receiving services through the school system, it is not enough. I HIGHLY recommend Kidz Speak. The one-on-one attention your child will receive is critical to helping them reach their fullest potential. I wish your and your child the best.

Of what I could tell by my two visits I have no problem giving this business 5 stars. A friend of mine who made my two trips to Azalea Manor possible has both of her parents staying there and she and her parents speak highly of this business. All of their clients there seemed to be in great spirit and enjoying their time at Azalea Manor. All of the staff that I have met there seemed to be top professionals highly skilled in the many different jobs it takes to run a successful business such as this.
