All I had to do was pull up my Yelp app and this was the first one that popped up. And I am so glad it was. The guy that works there is very nice and professional he shows you different forms of things that can be made and can even make things for you which is an additional cost but well worth it. The building itself does not show a sign so definitely get the address cuz you will pass it up. When I walked in I only saw one person and that was the guy working there. He helped me out so much and knew exactly what I wanted he was a little pricey but he did show me his work and I saw some of his work lined around which look great the keychains won't be ready for about a week and at that time I will let you guys know how they came out but remember this place is low key. They do have a parking lot in the front which was pretty big and street parking as well. So if you're ever looking to engrave anything or need somebody to create some thing for you this is the spot to go to I cannot wait till the keychains are ready because I know they will come out great. Ohh And one last thing before I end this review he gifted me with a pendant for a special person. Five stars all the way around I will definitely be coming back for all my engraving needs. The facts: I had 5 items of anodized aluminum (approx…read more1.22"x1.62") that I wanted laser engraved (ablated, technically). Jon provided a quote and turnaround time via email within 24hrs of me inquiring. I dropped off my items on Friday, and they shipped them back to me the following Monday and I received them Tuesday. --- The good: Out of the 6 places I inquired with, Jon was the only one to provide an itemized quote ($8.95/item x 5 + $20 setup charge = $64.75) and a reasonable turnaround time (1-2 business days). The team even provided a layout for me to approve of the placement that closely matched how I designed it, to which I approved. The engraving marks themselves were crisp and clean. --- The bad: The items were offset left ~1mm and immediately noticeable upon receipt. I reply to the layout approval email to ask if being ~1mm set left was within tolerance and if there was anything I could have done to insure better alignment. The team did not respond to my email for over 24hrs. Potentially being lost in email threads, I added "quality/alignment question" into a follow up and this is the email thread: Jon: "We do not work with mm or cm. Our machines are not set up like that. So, outside items have a risk of possibly being off such a small fraction of an inch (0.0393701)." Me: "Noted. It would have been helpful to know the tolerances ahead of time to manage the expectations and design. I'm new to laser engraving and would appreciate advice on how I would be able to get more accurate alignments? Would additional templating help? I want to have more of this work done, potentially and want to make sure things are set up for better success on both our ends." Jon: "Hey Ellis, 1mm is such a small amount; all laser jobs could be at risk of that. It would not matter how the art is setup." --- Opinion: I wish I would have been informed of the tolerance they were comfortable in providing so I could determine if I approved of that. From what I gathered about laser engraving, getting a design aligned and centered on a rectangular item seems with reason. And, their layout led me to expect that's what they were going to deliver. Attached are photos of their layout I approved and what I got. I'll leave it to you, Yelpers and visitors, if you feel this is accurate enough for your purposes. As for me, I'll be exploring other services that can at least inform me of tolerances ahead of time and/or assure me of more accurate results.

This company is the worst to deal with! I had some items encased. I received an invoice on June…read more20, 2024, which included a $35 credit card fee. Since Robert (owner) included it in the invoice with no option to pay with an alternative payment, I said OK, I will pay with my credit card and at least get points on my credit card. I made payment immediately on the June 20th. The invoice said the encasement will be mailed 10-13 days from payment. Prior to receiving the invoice, Robert told me my encasement was done, but the engraver made a mistake on the engraving and he wanted him to redo it, which I was happy with, since I was spending a lot of money on this encasement. A couple days after I made my payment, I received an email from Robert asking if I could make my payment through Zelle (I'm guessing because of less fees to the business), but not wanting to refund me any of the $35 credit card fee he charged me. I sent him a copy of my bank statement that showed I already made my payment on June 20th. I called Robert on July 1st and asked if he could send me a photo before he ships, which he did and he said it will ship out by UPS on July 2nd and should take one day for delivery. I received an email on July 2nd from UPS that the label was created and will be delivered on July 3rd. I waited all day July 3rd and no delivery. I was a little upset but understood the holiday was the next day. I figured it would ship out on July 5th with a delivery date of the 6th. July 6th came and went with no delivery. I checked UPS app and it still said only a label was created. I called Robert on Monday, July 8th and asked about the shipping of my encasement. He came up with excuses and guaranteed that my encasement will go out today. Update: I just received an email from UPS that they have received my package and should be delivered tomorrow.
