I am a Real Estate Broker and am also looking for other professionals to network with and to refer my clients to as people always ask me if know of good service providers. The majority of apartments I handle have tile, marble or wood floors and only about 25% are carpeted. Therefore, I don't need to call for carpet cleaning very often. I had a listing in which the Landlord was supposed to have the carpets professionally cleaned before delivering the apartment. I went into the place on Friday and was disgusted by the poor job done by the company the Landlord hired. It looked like they just did the middle of the floors without ever touching the edges or corners. There was dirt all around the perimeter of the room. The Landlord asked for my assistance in finding somebody so I called the two people I knew who provided this service. One phone number was disconnected and the other number had a full voice mail. I started searching for other carpet cleaning services and found Dajosa Services and another company. I called the other company first and the person who answered said somebody would call me the next day. I called Dajosa Services and Jorge picked up right away. I explained to him the problem and that we needed the carpets cleaned as soon as possible as Tenants were moving in on Monday afternoon. He told me he could fit me in the next day. Since it was a Saturday and some buildings have restrictions, we waited until Monday morning. It was pouring that morning but Jorge still arrived on time. He was coming from his office in Kendall and the property was on 27th Avenue, just east of Coral Gables. I was really impressed as so many people are late in Miami and with the terrible weather I really didn't expect him to be on time. He did a great job and the Tenants were very happy with the end result. Last week, I had another apartment that was to be delivered in which it was agreed that the Landlord would get the carpets cleaned. It was not my listing, therefore i didn't have a key to the unit. I managed to obtain a key the day before the Tenants were to move in and found the carpets had not been touched. There were three large stains in the living room and a few small stains in the bedroom. I called Jorge around 5PM and hoped he would be able to do the job but was not counting on it since I was calling at the last minute. Jorge listened to my story and said he would gladly fit me in between other jobs. He ended up having to wait at the building for somebody to open the door for him and never complained once. The tenants had booked the elevator and were scheduled to move in at the same time he was there. Never once did he get annoyed, but instead said he would start in one room and work as quickly as possible. He finished the job very fast and did an excellent job. He managed to get the stains out and my clients were ecstatic. They said he did an awesome job and was very cooperative about working around them. I consider myself to be a very tough critic. I have been a Realtor for 10 years and have received pretty bad service from many service providers. I have had to deal with people who are late or don't show up at all, are rude or just provide bad service. I am very impressed by Jorge. This is a family owned business and the his customer service skills are terrific. I've lived in Miami for almost 15 years and can tell you this is not an everyday occurrence. I grew up in a small town and the service I received from Jorge reminded me of the service you receive in a small quaint town. Not only does Jorge do a great job but he has a terrific personality to go along with it. The price is very reasonable and for the job he does it not only worth it but it a real bargain. I cannot say enough good things about Jorge and Dajosa Services. I am definitely referring this company to everybody I know who can benefit from its services. I cannot thank you enough, Jorge.
