After they placed their order, I looked inside and realized they were overwhelmed and were probably not going to bring out my sandwich so I went to the pick up area to ask the status of my sandwich. The panic behind the counter was telling me they lost my order. And they had me wait at the counter for my sandwich an additional 4-5 minutes. When I got back to the table I realized that all I got was the ribeye cheese sandwich with shredded iceberg lettuce, no peppers, no onions, no mushrooms. I wanted to go back, but with the panic behind the counter I said I am just glad I got something to eat. The sandwich was good, not bad, with a nice toast on the hoagie bread. About 10 minutes after I got my food, my co-workers got their food and the person that ordered the chili was very disappointed, they said they have had better chili and Wendy's. My other co-worker agreed that the ribeye cheese sandwich was not bad, but the fries were flavorless, like they were not salted. Anyways, maybe management could take initiative in finding out what conferences are occurring in the immediate area and be prepared that first day, because you only have one chance to make a first impression. I am not likely to return to this establishment due to the incorrect order and the slow service. I wish them much success.

This cafe is amazing, from its food to its items for sale to its staff! Their sandwiches are amazing, and they have a large selection of options to choose from. I have not tried their coffee yet, but as many others have said, I have heard nothing but good things. They also serve as a convenient mini-market for residents of The Paramount or anyone coming through the area. Whether it is for a quick meal or to grab some essentials, the Paramount Cafe is stocked to fill anyone's needs. The shining star though is the owners, who are incredibly friendly and nice. They take the time to make everyone feel welcome, and go above and beyond in their customer service. I have enjoyed getting to know them, and they make a great store that much more fantastic! One of the greatest sandwich cafes ever. One of the sandwiches I really enjoy is Club Focaccia. You can see that they use extremely high quality ingredients inside. In Club Focaccia, it has black forest ham, mesquite turkey, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and other various ingredients that you will love. The bread is also great quality! Very happy I found this place! Sandwiches are great, they are made fresh and comes with a free bag of chips. You can get all kinds of espresso drinks, but I highly recommend their chai latte, hands down the best I've ever had. They also have beer, wine, and convenience items. The Torpedo Artist is a hot Panini-like sandwich. You can select your type of meat, cheese and toppings. By default it includes lettuce, sweet peppers and deli oil. My sandwich was well-crafted with plenty of turkey and Swiss cheese. However, I didn't especially like this sandwich. I wish I had asked them to hold the deli oil because it was overly pungent with oregano. All I could taste in my sandwich was oregano. But older and wiser now, I know in the future that if I have them hold the deli oil, I'll end up with a great and tasty sandwich.

I will definitely for this again on my next trip. I ordered a BLT on multigrain, and a PBJ w/honey drizzle on sourdough. The PBJ is off the kids menu. I'll ask for extra peanut butter and jelly so it's to my liking. I couldn't tell if there was honey on it, it could have been. The BLT was fantastic. I loved that it was not oiled high with all the ingredients. A simple sandwich. It fit the bill and didn't over fill me. A true classic. The multi grain bread was the best! I need to find out where that is from. It was that good. I hope I'm able to try the tuna fish and the egg salad sandwiches sometime they look delish! The staff were quiet, but got the job done. There is a small bar like area to eat in, and outdoor tables in a covered area to enjoy your sandwich.

Crab cakes were good with decent lumps of crab meat and I recommend the potato layered side. We tried two desserts - Key Lime Pie was a large slice and very good. It has a coconut crust and the berry compote really added to it. We were split on the bread pudding - a dense bread pudding, but the Bourbon cream anglaise really made it in my opinion. Throughout the meal, it was difficult to locate our server, and while he would sometimes take one person's order, he often missed that other guests at the table had empty glasses and were ready for another round. Overall, the restaurant has potential, but between the uneven service and the unexpected spice levels throughout the menu, the experience fell short of expectations.
